Planters Inn - Charleston

The staff were great but overall for a Relais & Chateau we did not think it reached the level we expected, it needs a refurb in some areas.

Such a beautiful hotel, great location, welcoming and helpful staff. Restaurant and bar exceeded expectations. Wished we had stayed longer. Would recommend to anyone! If we were to be super critical - why Molton Brown toiletries???… go local! Perhaps it’s because we are English and it was a surprise/shame to not have a local brand in place…also amenities kit (cotton pads, ear buds) missing from the room, this is a basic provision.

Everything was great

The breakfast was disappointing. The muffin, sausage and coconut cake were dry. The staff were great, all very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Our room was noisy, the room above us they were moving furniture or jumping up and down. The bed in our room was too high and the bed was noisy.

Incredible location, exceptional service, beautiful hotel. Restaurant was impressive!
