Host responds quickly to messages! Easy check in. Upon entering home smelled like cigarette smoke, but host said home is a nonsmoking home. Thankfully we got used to the smell quickly. The cleaner missed a few things from last guest - chairs on back porch area all over the place, a half used bag of charcoal left out, grill tools left out, food left in oven, and back door very dirty. Inside the home was clean. The kitchen was basic and lacking a few things we needed. The hot tub is a nice touch, but not very private with back neighbor. The first time we tried to use the hot tub, the neighbors came out and started their yard work; their edging caused grass to fly into and threw the fence where the hot tub is. The shower curtain needs to be replaced in the main bathroom. The Wifi was spotty two of the three nights and we weren't able to use the TV those nights. The rooster next door was our alarm clock one of the mornings. The neighborhood one way was nice, the other way we avoided. We didn't let the kids play in the front yard and kept the blinds down due to this. We had no issues, and the small backyard was still enough for the kids to play. For the pros - there are plenty of towels and comfortable blankets at the house. The beds are comfortable. The kids loved the game room. The decor is cute. We liked the bed configuration for our family. Loved that we didn't have too many "chores" upon leaving. The home would be great with a few nicer updates/upgrades!
