Stayed 4 nights

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 7 nights on a business trip. Room was lovely, bed was comfy and amenities in and around the hotel were great. We had breakfast included although they could have had a little more of a variety on the menu, whether it was because it wasnt a busy period or if it was because they were not a hotel located close to town, im not sure but it was mostly quiet. Didnt get an opportunity to use the pool or spa or any of the bars as we were mostly out for the days but the hotel was what we needed for our stay. Staff were always friendly and location is literally 2 minutes from the airport. Will definitely use them again in the future. More pros than cons, only cons for us were the pillows were not firm and we only had one chair at the table in the room so it was hard for 2 of us to sit at the table at the one time, otherwise everything else was to a satisfactory standard. Thank you Samoa Beach Resort for looking after us.

Stayed 8 nights

We were there from the week before Easter until Easter Monday. I'd booked and paid for this stay when Sheration were still managers. It is a really nice location. The beach is close to perfect, and certainly somewhere where you can lie and sunbathe. You can go swimming out to a little island. There is breakwaters on either side. The swimming pool in the resort is excellent. It is probably overfilled for what it was intended for, but it is one of the few resorts we've been to where it is deep enough to actually swim properly without hitting your hands on the bottom of the pool. There are theoretically two restaurants, but only one of them was open for most of the time we were there. And the second one opened only on the last two days that we were there. The cooking is terrible. I can't put it any other way. I don't believe that we had one meal that was in any way memorable. They were all very mediocre. During the first part of the stay, which was in the week prior to Easter, a lot of items were not available on the menu. This was particularly upsetting for my adult daughter who was with us, because she can't eat a lot of things. And so a lot of the stuff that she wanted to eat was just simply not available or she had to eat the same thing day in, day out. By the end of the third day, we had decided that we'd had enough and we started trying to find other restaurants to go and eat.
