Back deck area very large. Could have used a few more chairs outside for sitting. The Halloween Bash was a lot of fun. Overall my friends and I really had a fun weekend! Definitely will be booking this house next year!!

House was nice and big. Definitely easy to track dirt in with all the morning rain, could use a place to wipe/store shoes. Maintenance was quick and helpful. Love the van service $4pp/each way, texting the drivers was convenient. The jets in the tub didn't work, the fridge made a loud knocking sound every time it opened. I wish the beds had headboards, as the pillows would fall off.. but that's just a personal preference. The mattress, pillows and bed linens were very comfortable. My friend said the bunk bed was a little wobbly. Would 100% stay here again. Friendly staff, good price. The pool wasn't anything fancy but got the job done and was never too crowded.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Island Club every summer since 2021 with our family as part of our family vacation. Our experience this summer was different than before. The cabin looked like it was recently updated which is a major plus (carpet is gross in the bedrooms and living rooms because of cleanliness). One thing that stood out when we got into our unit was the lack of fire alarms. I believe the crew that did the renovation probably forgot to hang them back up. I emailed the group and they had someone install them that day, so that was a relief. A few days after we got to our unit my children called us frantically telling us that there was a squirrel in the unit. I wasn't sure if I believed them at first, but when we got back, there was for sure a squirrel in our unit and it was trapped in the living area. My husband and brother opened both doors and eventually coaxed the squirrel out. After we got it out we discovered that the squirrel came in from the bathroom that was not attached to a bedroom. There was a hole in the ceiling next to the sky light. The squirrel made quite a mess in the bathroom in the bathtub. I contacted island club again and they came the next day to investigate the hole. They said there was nothing they could do to fix it because they needed to get up on the roof to try to plug the hole on both ends and that would take time to do. While I was satisfied with their response, no one cleaned up the mess the squirrel made. I hoped that the mess would be cleaned up so we could use the bathroom without fear of any kind of disease or illness caused by the squirrel being in the bathroom where most of the mess was. I would of cleaned it up but I had no access to any kind of sanitizer or cleanser of any kind due to being on vacation. Other than that our stay was good.
