Comfort Inn & Suites Gunnison-Crested Butte

AC unit would not cool the room at all. Opened the window to get relief, but someone decided to smoke outside the room, so we had to close it and suffer. Otherwise it was a nice room.

The owners of this property are more interested in profit rather than upgrading and/or improving their property. The couch in our room had a big sink hole on one side. The second tv didn’t work, and my husband just about fell out of the desk chair. We did not sleep well as the bed was hard and we could not get the room cool enough for our comfort. I needed to use the laundry but the facilities were not available (no water they said). A Motel 6 would probably have been better. Extremely disappointed.

This hotel double-charged me and now refuses to refund. Even speaking to the General Manager, they are completely unprofessional and I would never recommend this hotel due to this experience.

The hotel is in a disruptive transition. We were booked into a room that had no window shades or working curtains. We were relocated to a room without a working fridge. The deficiencies were corrected almost entirely thanks to reception staffer Nilu. The other reception staffer projected an unwelcoming attitude. I was ready to leave until Nilu stepped in to make things right.

The airport shuttle was great and they worked around our schedule. The hotel is being well maintained. Our room was fine and yet they are in the process of updating everything. Hotel staff were helpful with dinner recommendations and getting us to exercise trails. It was a pleasure to be there. Downtown was an easy walk and we also walked to a great coffee shop. Walmart and city market grocery were right across Main Street from the hotel. All very convenient. You know it is a good spot when the flight crews stay there
