Lake Powell Canyon Inn

It was a nice stay for my dad and I. I was beat from hiking earlier In the day and my dad was hungry so he walked down the road to eat. So, places to eat within walking distance. Beds were comfy. And I wish I would have seen the grill, I had charcoal and steaks that I would have loved to grill.

When we got there, the owner decided to re-do the parking lot. I'm disabled and so we couldn't park on the street and walk to room, so we had to go somewhere else and pay double.

I arrived late, around 11. The entire place was dark, construction flags were wrapped around the entire property and there were zero cars on the property. Even the 'OPEN' light was off. I have pictures of all of this. On top of this, they changed the name from Lake Powell Canyon Inn to The Wesley. I rebooked at a nearby hotel, The Knights Inn. Then, Lake Powell still charged me. Thankfully, Hotels.com came to the rescue, but if I had more time, I would file a BBB report.

This hotel is undergoing major renovations it will be nice once they are completed in about a year.

I didn't have hot water to take a shower.
