Hotellets felles toaletter ble benyttet både på ankomst og avreisedagen. Disse var IKKE tilsett av vaskepersonell. Det var tomt for papir, toalettene var møkkete og gulvene våte. Jeg forstår de som vasker har mye å gjøre med å gjøre alle rom klare da det er et stort hotell, men siden man også må ha kode for å komme inn på toalettet og det da bare benyttes av hotellets gjester burde de hatt vaskepersonell innom der flere ganger pr døgn. Det burde også bli vasket av bord mellom forkostgjester da noen gjester søler og griser ved bordene. Tok også lang tid ved frokost før fat og drikke ble fylt på. Betjeningen virket lei av jobben. Bortsett fra dette negative har hotellet mye bra å by på. Fine romslige rene rom! God frokost og hyggelig betjening ved resepsjonen. Veldig bra beliggenhet.

Hotellet ligger dejligt centralt, i gå afstand til alt, men der stod der var parkering men det havde de ikke . De kunne ikke være behjælpelig med noget dem der stod og skulle tjekke os ind anede ikke noget om mulighed for parkering. Vi kom 15.50 og var godt trætte efter 7 timers køre tur men fik afvide vi først kunne tjekke ind 16-18.00. Rengøring fik vi slet ikke i hele weekenden det var lidt øv med over fyldt skralde spand på et hotel til den pris pr overnatning . Plus det er rart at komme tilbage på sit værelse til ny redt seng. Beliggenheden var super god og morgen maden.

Att parkera i rekommenderat parkeringshus kostar lika mycket som halva hotelluppehållet. Sängen var bra och man blev inte störd av ljud. Lokationen är oslagbar, man bor mitt i centrum och kan lätt gå överallt.

Vi var lite tidiga men kunde ställa bagaget i ett rum under tiden. Rummet var toppen, alltid skönt att kunna öppna ett fönster när det är varmt ute. Över lag ofta för varmt på hotelrummen. Gymmet var dock extremt litet tur det var bra luftkonditionering.

I stayed in superior double room. It is quite small and the arrangement of the room was not I expected for a 22sqm room. Little window for natural light. Gym is like a box room, only 2 treadmills 1 bench and pulldown machine it feels very tight, no windows either. sauna is inside the changing room. Disappointed with hotel assistance as when you leave your luggage in the hotel they will just point you to a room where you store you luggage yourself, this feels somehow unsafe as guests have access to the luggage room with all people’s stuff inside.

Vi hade en jättebra vistelse på det här hotellet! Personalen i receptionen var trevliga och hjälpsamma, och det var perfekt att det fanns ett bagagerum där vi kunde förvara våra väskor både på ankomstdagen och avresedagen. Städningen sker bara om man ber om det, men receptionisten påminde oss direkt vid incheckning, så vi bokade för alla dagar – när man är på hotell vill man ju ha det fräscht, och det var inga problem alls. Frukosten var riktigt bra och hade allt man kunde önska sig. Om man ska nämna något mindre positivt, så är det väl att barpersonalen på kvällen skulle kunna få gå en liten charmkurs – där finns förbättringspotential. Läget är perfekt! Bara några hundra meter till en ingång till T-Centralen, och därifrån tar man sig smidigt vart man vill i Stockholm. Vi kan absolut tänka oss att bo här igen!

The location is great…very walkable to Old Town. The one frustration was the lack of parking. We were directed to Stockholm Parkering…which turned out to be a nightmare. I spent several hours trying to sort out how to use it…there are no attendants on site…they charged me …then credited the charge without explanation…then put a ticket on my door….it went on and on!

Location great, staff amazing but rooms were beyond clean. We were in a junior suite and it felt like the living area carpet with food strewn all over was never vacuumed, there were dust specks settled on the coffee table. Would not recommend to someone who values cleanliness over location.

The location is perfect for walking everywhere. The hotel itself is interesting because it seems to be made up of many other buildings joined together. Lots of nooks and crannies. The breakfast buffet is pretty amazing! The one negative thing is the shower glass wall doesn’t meet the floor so water runs out into the bathroom. A small flaw but irritating nonetheless. I would stay here again

We paid for a superior room, and were glad we did, as - although it was still small - it was big enough for a few nights, and had a comfy king size bed (and kettle, which bizarrely doesn't seem to be included with lower grade rooms), and on the top floor we has a very narrow roof balcony, that was good to get some air. The bathroom was absolutely tiny, and couldn't even fit in a normal size sink, and no-one had bothered to fill the shower gel container, but this was filled when we requested it. They try and avoid offering room service, and even though we asked for our room to be cleaned (it felt like a negotiation at reception, but they pushed to only clean on the middle day of our stay, but, despite this, our small bin was never emptied, nor tea or coffee replenished). Also, although there were blackout curtains, they let lots of light in around the edges and along the top as there was no pelmet, and, with it getting light from 3am, this was a very early wake-up call. Staff were polite and the whole hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fine - and if you went through to the restaurant area there was much more space and a proper coffee machine, rather than being in the darker main area. Everything was functional but just lacked any sparkle, but the location was spot-on being 5 mins from the train station and all the main central locations being walkable.

Hotellets lobby, morgenmad og bar er ganske fint. Desuden er lokationen god. Men værelset var en skandale. Ingen vinduer, rummet var så småt at det næsten var umuligt at komme rundt om sengen og ud på badeværelset. Der var desuden isnende koldt på værelset - så koldt at jeg måtte klage over det og fik en transportabel radiator. Bruger ikke dette hotel igen (men gerne Hotels.com)

When we arrived, we were initially given the keys to a room that wasn’t ready, and it was very dirty. Mistakes like this can happen, so we didn’t make a fuss. We were then given our actual room, which was fine — nothing amazing, but acceptable. However, some nights were a nightmare for sleeping. Our room faced a bar/nightclub, and the music (mostly loud techno) went on until around 3 a.m. every night. I genuinely think the room should have at least triple glazing, because it’s ridiculous to be on holiday and not be able to sleep due to the noise. Breakfast was not included, which we knew, but the bigger issue was that the room was never cleaned during our five-day stay. We were told we had to request a cleaning service, so we did — once — but it never happened. After day four, we gave up and just lived in our own mess for the rest of the trip. Overall, it wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but it could have been much better. The idea of “ecology” or “sustainability” as a reason not to clean rooms regularly feels like a cop-out — it’s not eco-friendly, it’s just poor service.

Modern shower door with half glass door is not practical. It is extremely poor design. The bathroom floor gets wet and slippery. You should change the shower door for full enclosure. It is a risk hazard and not very environment friendly.

Very conveniently located centrally for easy access to public transport and the express train to and from the airport. Hotel is of a good standard but they do not clean your hotel room unless you request. Even when we requested, this was not done. This was the biggest problem we had.

Arriving in Stockholm on the Arlanda Express, this hotel is a 10 minute walk from the central station. We stayed for 4 nights in July and found it to be an excellent stay. Hotel staff could not have been more helpful whether they were printing off Power of Attorney documents for my wife to sign or opening the in-room safe that my wife managed to disable with our passports inside it on the night before checkout. (Note that the safe is a bit small and not big enough for a laptop). Hotel staff all speak much better English than my Svenska. Breakfast area has everything you will need but does get very (very) busy between about 8am and 9:30am. Coach load of American tourists during our stay all ate at the same time - they have a bus to catch! We ate out in the evenings as the hotel restaurant choices are a bit limited, but there are a enough alternatives in the immediate vicinity to make up for it. It's a little outside the main tourist area which means it's quiet in the evenings but not much public transport nearby so be prepared for a bit of walking when you have things to do. Waking to the docks to catch a boat to the archipeligo takes about 25 minutes (including the wife stopping to take photos.) We loved the Scandic Grand Central and would stay again even if only because of it's closeness to the train station. But it has more to offer than just that.

When we arrived, we were initially given the keys to a room that wasn’t ready, and it was very dirty. Mistakes like this can happen, so we didn’t make a fuss. We were then given our actual room, which was fine — nothing amazing, but acceptable. However, some nights were a nightmare for sleeping. Our room faced a bar/nightclub, and the music (mostly loud techno) went on until around 3 a.m. every night. I genuinely think the room should have at least triple glazing, because it’s ridiculous to be on holiday and not be able to sleep due to the noise. Breakfast was not included, which we knew, but the bigger issue was that the room was never cleaned during our five-day stay. We were told we had to request a cleaning service, so we did — once — but it never happened. After day four, we gave up and just lived in our own mess for the rest of the trip. Overall, it wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but it could have been much better. The idea of “ecology” or “sustainability” as a reason not to clean rooms regularly feels like a cop-out — it’s not eco-friendly, it’s just poor service.

The hotel was excellent as usual; however, this time Alex at the front desk went above and beyond. I realized that I had left my AirPods in the room while on the high-speed train to the airport. After emailing the front desk from the train, Alex went to the room (twice), found the AirPods and returned them to my colleague. I regularly stay at the Scandic Grand Central and have become used to the excellent service. Thanks again to Alex!

Att man bokar två familjerum med en 3åring och en 4-åring, ringer hotellet och ber om närhet mellan rummen, och sedan får rum på 1:a och 5:e våningen är inte ok. Dessutom var inte rummen klara när vi kom kl 16.30.

Scandic Grand Central is ideaal gelegen dichtbij zowel metro bus als treinstation. Vele bezienswaardigheden liggen op loopafstand evenals de vele eetgelegenheden. Het ontbijt in het hotel is fantastisch evenals het vriendelijke personeel. Stockholm, een verrassende stad met een veilig en vooruitstrevend karakter

Great location for the central station, with a regular fast train to the airport. Gamla Stan is easily reached on foot. Restaurants in the area seem to close very early but not sure if that is a seasonal thing. The main shopping street in Norrmalm is within easy walking distance too. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Location: Excellent. About 3-min walk to the Arlanda Express. Close to all types of transportation around the city for tourist attractions—subway, bus, lightrail. Walkable to shops. Breakfast: Wide variety of food including fruits and even stations for dairy -free and gluten-free. Wasn’t my favorite hotel breakfast but sufficient. Room: Even though the hallways were a bit dated, the rooms were renovated and well-reflected by the Expedia photos. The bathroom was quite small but renovated just aa the rest of the room. Noise: My room was facing the street and could hear the traffic. Usually not too bad until a loud motorcycle passes by once in a while. I had my own earplugs and was able to sleep uninterrupted with them on.

Facilities, location and reception staff all excellent. Breakfast also great. The only negative is the bar and restaurant, which doesn’t negate how good the actual hotel is. We tried 3 times to get a drink at the bar and gave up due to long wait and lack of service

Veldig bra opphold☺️😊 eneste å trekke ned på er at det var veldig kaos i frokostsalen da vi var der i 9 tiden. Burde kanskje ha en ordning hvor dere sprer det utover, som kan løses ved å spørre gjestene ved innsjekk når en vil ha frokost ;)

Great breakfast with options for guest in a plant based vegan diet. Front desk was friendly and helpful rooms are nice and they have beautiful shower doors in the bathrooms. Location is great being so close to trains and buses.

Perfect place to stay to get around Stockholm easily for a city break! It's about a three minute walk from the Arlanda Express and Stockholm Central so super easy from the airport. Rooms are compact and clean, everything you need for a short stay. The bathrooms were really nice, huge powerful shower which was great! We could walk to loads of really nice restaurants and bars nearby, all in about a 10-15 min radius, would recommend :)
