The Punto Rockstar is located at the beginning of the Chilean Patagonia. The neighbourhood is peaceful, easily accessible, just 10 minutes from the bus terminal, and 30 minutes from the airport. It is situated on one of the main streets of the city, with minimarkets, bakeries, cafes, bars, and restaurants all within a two-block radius. The hospital emergency service is a five-minute drive away, and the main square, shopping center, and general commerce are all within a 10-minute walk. The city has five museums, three main parks, plazas, two rivers, and two suspension bridges, as well as heritage homes of German settlers and 150-year-old industries. The surrounding tourist destinations are magical, including beaches, snow-capped mountains, national parks, hot springs, the Cardenal Zamore border crossing with Argentina, indigenous communities such as the Huilliches, lakes, and bridges.
