OYO Alpine TX near Big Bend National Park

Floors and bathroom were pretty dirty, unvacuumed. I will admit, the bed were clean and smelled freshly washed.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

Honestly better than I expected. It’s an OYO. The price is decent for what we got. The gentleman that check us in was courteous and helpful. The room was very dated and in poor shape but it was clean and accommodated 3 grown men comfortably. Everything worked in the room a/c was very loud but it blew cold air. The bathroom was clean. We ended up booking the room again the next night and it had been well cleaned. I’m satisfied with my stay

The hotel is in complete disrepair. My room was clean but had holes in the walls, a door lock that barely functioned and would fall off if hit reasonably hard I never had maid service in the 5 days I was there. The woman at the front desk did not speak English and I don’t think she spoke Spanish either. It took the second day to figure out the plumbing was reversed, the hot water was on the right side in the shower instead of the left. I will not be staying there again. Fortunately my time in the Alpine area and Big Bend kept me busy and the time at the hotel was minimal.

Air conditioner button was broken, so we couldn't adjust room temp. Bed frame also stuck out from bottom of bed, causing a tripping hazard. Rooms were dated and patch work left incomplete.
