b side motel

The room looked like a crappy apartment. The walls were all patched with different colored paint. The bedding looked like and smelled like it was from my grandma’s house. The sheets were very wrinkled, couldn’t be sure they had been changed before we got there. The dresser was dirty/gritty. The shower was fine. They only had Roku TV so we couldn’t watch basic television, and there was something wrong with the connection so the sound on every channel was static-y. I’m being extra critical because I paid $205 for this

Staff was very helpful

Easy access with a door code (No staff to check you in - Self check-in). The place has a very cool Art Deco vibe. Nicely remodeled and very clean. Lot's of simple/but appreciated little items (candy dish, descent coffee for the coffee maker (with actual sugar and creamer). Bed was very comfy as well. Was concerned about potential road noise (especially when I saw earplugs on the table). But, I never really heard any noice from the road. Did hear the neighbor go in and out (door slam) several times...But no Big D! I would say if you are on the road and need a stop, this is a great place for that. I would not recommend it for a base for a long stay, due to the room size. Room and bathroom are fairly small. (But very comfy) Will likely stay again!

Manager was on site, very friendly and helpful. Property is well maintained, room is clean and fun!! Decor is themed. We had old school Atari and Sega game consoles!! We didn’t play but they were connected and ready to go! Walls are thin, we were able to hear the room next door, but they weren’t loud or distracting. The description of the bathroom should make clear that to get into the shower is a VERY narrow space and the shower itself is also very narrow. I would ask for a room with better accessible shower/bath. I loved this place and highly recommend staying there.
