What a delightful stay in this small Inn tucked away in a natural forest.. the Inn was full of artefacts and antiques collected over the years. Such a peaceful place to stay with gorgeous views of the bay from the porch. Linda and Ron were perfect hosts. They even fed the wild deer for us so we were able to see the wildlife close up. Thanks for a lovely stay

Our stay at Cypress Moon Inn was idyllic! The home is close to amenities. Cocooned on a large waterfront lot in a haven of trees, you feel miles away from the bustle. Upon arrival, Linda warmly greeted us and ensured our comfort before offering a dinner suggestion. Ocean Boulevard was a spot-on recommendation! The next morning, Greg shared local knowledge of the greater Outer Banks region. We followed several of his suggestions, resulting in an engaging and lovely day of exploration. The home is filled with charm. We enjoyed early mornings on the deck, feeling in-tune with nature. We spent evenings playing some of the board games the Inn keeps on-site. Overall, a wonderful trip with equally gracious hosts. Thank you!

have no complaints about my stay at the cypress moon inn, you cannot beat this place for the price. Location is beautiful, with a balcony that gives you a nice view of the sound side. Breakfast is some fruit and muffins, restocked each day. It's a light breakfast, perfect for starting your day. There's a Walmart nearby just in case you forget or need to pick up anything. Additionally the host Greg is delightful, could talk to him for hours. He built the house himself and did a very good job. He provides free bikes you can take down to the beach, as well as kayaks to use on the lake behind the house. Only complaint (if I had to complain) would be that there is no microwave, but for how nice the place is that didn't bother me.

Can’t wait to return. Homey and comfortable. Our host was absolutely fabulous and was extremely interesting. He spent a lot of time answering our questions and just being helpful. It’s only a minute or two from the highway, but you’d never know it. Quiet. Feels remote. They have fishing poles, kayaks, life preservers, bicycles, and tons of books (especially local titles) games, on and on. Wonderful deck off each room to watch the water and wildlife. This place is a jewel. Recommend it highly.

We are seasoned outdoor campers (tents, outhouses) used to limited comforts in the woods. We were looking forward to a relaxed evening watching wildlife and the sunset. Those goals were met. There is limited space in the parking area making it difficult to maneuver. When arriving, there was no signage to indicate which building was the Inn and which was a private home. There was poison ivy along the parking area which we didn’t see until we were standing in it while unloading our vehicle. Linda was very friendly and personable. She took us to our room and showed us a tray on a table with 2 apples, 2 tangerines, 2 muffins in waxed paper, a small coffee maker and 2 packages of coffee. This was breakfast for the next day. The advertising stated there was a TV in each room. There was no TV. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s rest. In the morning, when getting the coffee ready, I pulled the glass carafe out to add water and it had old coffee in it (roughly a cup worth). There was a note on the tray that the creamer mini cups needed to be shaken thoroughly. I did this and the creamer instantly formed chunks, so we did not drink our coffee. The shower and towels were great. All in all, we found the advertising to be a bit misleading. We know this is a rustic, forested area but this verges on overgrown.
