This is a pet friendly cabin and it smelled like urine. Management was kind enough to spray the upstairs carpets but the odor still lingered. Would recommend replacing the carpet upstairs. Yuk.

It met our needs, but the gas fireplace had an issue and was troublesome to start. You can tell they have covered and not fixed small moisture issues that will lead to bigger problems in the future like the shower walls and kitchen counter area. Overall clean and pleasant

The location was good. It was very quiet and the accommodations where comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

The good: this property was close enough to walk to everything, which we appreciate. You could see most of the torchlight parade from our patio. We also appreciate them being dog-friendly, which is a must for us. The decor and house in general were updated and nice enough for us. The gas fireplace was nice. The bad: first and foremost, there is no Wi-Fi here, and the phone signal is bad. I don’t believe it was stated in the description, or maybe I just didn’t see it. My husband had to go into town to check work email and such. The teenagers weren’t happy either. The setup for the bedrooms was a bit odd. The one downstairs bedroom had a smallish bed (full or Queen?). One upstairs bedroom had a large (king size) bed, while the other had bunk beds. However, the bunk bed room had an upstairs patio. If I had young children, I wouldn’t want them having their own outdoor patio. We wanted to give the upstairs to our kids, but this meant we took a smaller bed. It was just not well thought out in my opinion. Also, the kitchen supplies were a bit lacking. There were plenty of pots and pans, cups, plates, etc. However, there was salt but no pepper, no cooking oil or spices, very few (if any) cleaning supplies, etc. The outdoor floormat was extremely dirty and therefor unusable. We let management know, but they never replied or replaced the mat. We would stay here again if needed. But in this day and age, Wi-Fi is an expectation, especially in an area where phone service is lacking. If they added Wi-Fi, rearranged furniture, and added a few kitchen supplies, this would be a great property.
