Stayed 2 nights

Cute little cottage with fenced yard! Perfect for quick getaway. More importantly I forgot an expensive shirt and the host was so kind in making sure I revived the shirt back and overnighted it to me! Top notch host!

Stayed 3 nights

I regret having to write this review but the property manager refused my request for a full nights credit out of 3 nights rental because for the 1st 2 nights of our stay there were various bugs in the bathroom. Clearly the bottom of the tub was not caulked properly, allowing for bug entry. While my wife was having surgery at Duke,I had to leaveWith my dog and rent a room at the Hampton Inn at additional cost. She did have an exterminator come, but perhaps that should have happened before our stay.I am a long time VRBO user and have never left a negative review, but I find the managers refusal to do what’s rightinexcusable. It’s been a week since our stay and we have no resolution.

Great location, just outside of downtown and its surrounded by great restaurants. We stayed here to be close to the ritz, we had a xoupke of shows back to back so it made things very easy. The house is definitely cozy. I would love to be able to stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights

We typically travel with our three small dogs, making dog-friendliness one of the most important things we look for in a house. We were misled, ended up getting a refund, cancelled all of our weekend travel plans and drove home an hour after we arrived.- If marked as pet-friendly and featuring a fenced-in yard, it should be shared that there is no exterior door to the fenced in area. To get your dogs into the yard you have to leash them, carry them, or trust them to not run off.- The fence is in disrepair. The bottom has such a big gape that there is firewood blocking it off to fill in the gaps. The slats in the gate are loose; you barely had to touch it for them to fall apart.- The backyard isn’t maintained. Most is covered in dirt and the rest is full of brush and vines that don’t appear to have been trimmed in some time. - The exterior door in the kitchen has a crack big enough that sunlight comes through.- The bathroom has uneven, stained floors and dirty/cracked grout, and while we were on the property, we were killing ants in there.- While we were making plans to leave, our dogs found 3 or 4 half-chewed rawhide bones. Some under the couch, some next to it, and honestly not sure where they found the rest. It’s questionable how well the house gets cleaned. We received an immediate refund. However, afterwards, the home went back up for rent immediately regardless of the reported issues. We hope the owner decides to make some changes for future renters.
