Northern Star - Unique Cabin, Hot Tub, Pets okay, close to Skiing, Track, Casino

Wonderful little cabin. Close to downtown. We had a very relaxing time.

Beautiful cabin! Peaceful & quiet area with plenty of wildlife to see.The cabin is well kept and clean with cozy beds and a nice outdoor hot tub. Thank you Dennis for the wonderful experience.

We spent 9 nights at the cabin. It had everything we needed to prepare 2 meals daily. TV and Internet service were good. The sunrises were outstanding. Wildlife viewing was a great - horses, elk in the yard and streets. If walking the hills of the immediate neighborhood is too much, head for the Sierra Blanca golf course. There are a lot of walkers there - with and without dogs. We side tripped to Cloudcroft, White Sands, Monjeau Lookout, Billy the Kid Scenic Byway and its sights, Weed World (weird) and the Valley of Fire State Park (not great). The Corner Market, Anaheim Jack’s and Downshift Brewery were good for lunch. We shopped at Albertsons (wine selection. Good) and Mario’s (south of town) for really good steaks. Weather was fabulous.
