I had to extend my trip last minute and booked this property on short notice. Communication started off fine—I inquired about early check-in and was informed it wouldn’t be available, which wasn’t an issue. Unfortunately, the condition of the rental upon arrival was disappointing. There was sand and crumbs all over the floor, clearly not cleaned properly. I was told the cleaning crew would be coming back and that I would receive an ETA, but I was never contacted again. Later that day, it seemed like someone had come through to clean, but I found cannabis on the TV stand. This was especially concerning since I had my two-year-old’s toy cars on that stand—thankfully we found it before he did.This has been the most disappointing rental we’ve experienced in this area, and we’ve vacationed here for years. I definitely won’t be staying here again. That said, the location is great, and if you’re traveling on a tighter budget and willing to overlook cleanliness concerns, it might still be worth considering.
