Maine Cottage, steps from the beach!

The location couldn’t be better: walking distance to the beach so many restaurants and stores! We loved being able to see and hear the ocean at all times. We did have some issues with the toilets, and there were a few things that could use further detail in the listing. -Parking was a little confusing when we got there. -There are only air conditioning units in a couple of the bedrooms, although there are some fans.-The biggest thing was that the stairs to the second floor are very narrow and steep, and there really isn’t a railing. I was seven months pregnant and we had our toddler with us, so this was definitely a challenge. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the number of bedrooms and convenience of location.

Great location, very close to short sands, arcade, town, etc. Sheets and towels are NOT provided, which was not made clear until two days before we were to arrive. There are two bathrooms, but one is a half bath, so only one shower - also not made clear in the listing. The upstairs bedroom has a door opening to the balcony (no window, so the only source of fresh air), but no screen door - only a free floating screen covering that has gaps and lets bugs in. There are very few outlets, and/or power strips. Property manager almost never responds to emails.
