Very disappointed with a lot of things but most of all with the Infinity pool which not known until one arrives, so too late to change hotels, allows the general public in it from Thursday till Sunday, supposedly from midday but people definitely arrived earlier. No proper shower at residents pool for those waiting to go to airport so had to use one in Infinity pool… only one, so had to queue with all those partying. Ridiculous when we’ve paid not a small amount to stay at this hotel and the main photos are of the stunning Infinity pool looking out over the beach.. so quite frankly rather a con. I think this hotel tries to be ALL things to all people but fails in every way. However the food and service, in the Italian restaurant, particularly Francesca very good…

This was a very well run and curated resort for those staying in Darwin who also want the resort experience. The pools were excellent, the location beside Mindil beach was beautiful and the spa was amazing. Overall a very relaxing experience!

Public & guest pool, (infinity) & furniture, covers needed better cleaning & maintance. Hallways windows & carpets need extra cleaning. Staff were really helpful & friendly. Seaview room was well layed out with nice bathroom, excellent shower water pressure. Well equiped gym. Restaurants, menus & food was good. Location & access to taxi's & scooters was excellent.

Great choice of Restaurants. Only negative is both pools have far too much chlorine in the water. Needed eye drops to stop the stinging. The stinging was terrible and a real let down, otherwise everything else was great.

This is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. We had a lagoon pool accessible room where you could go out your back door and get straight into the pool. The pool was amazing and had a swim up bar. Staff were terrific and the place was not dated. Super cruisey place to be

10 minute walk into town. pools were perfect. would of liked a security measure from casino to hotel as anyone could just walk in from the casino use lifts. but a beautiful location.

This is by far the worst ‘luxury accomodation’ I have ever stayed in, every bit of linen/textile in the room was soiled including the things that are changed between stays such as the bedsheets and towels. The room wasn’t serviced a single time our entire stay and after numerous emails and phone calls nothing was done to change our rooms or even downgrade us into something habitable. After getting in contact with the manager via email I received no response for 2 weeks after our departure then compensation terms were constantly changed and amounts agreed to on the phone were subsequently changed via email with ‘fees and surcharges’ being taken out. The manager refused to put anything in writing and refused to respond to any of our concerns via the method of contact we used then subsequently tried to say they Contacted us via other methods at times such as 9pm. This place is a disgrace.

Stained dirty floor rug in room. Mould in shower. Lots of plant matter and some bandaids in lagoon pool. No Foxtel services except sports channels. No room info brochure about the resort bar and restaurant open and close times. Charge to room payment never worked for us. Lagoon pool room is average size, pool view is lovely and lit up at night. External beach path Lights were not working, there was broken glass on paths and indigenous people laying on paths that take you to the markets. No crocodile warning signs as you exit the resort onto the beach. No table to eat from in room.

The property is tired. there was what looked like mould in the shower. The toilet seat doesn't have the rubber buffers underneath it, so moves around a bit. The bathroom bin is chipped. The tiled floor is unusual, and the bed moves around on this hard floor. Room service took two calls to get it right, as I was transferred the first time to another number that never answered. Apart from this, generally, the staff were pleasant and efficient. Room service was quick and correct. I'm not returning.

The resort was fantastic, pool at your door, generous room sizes. Great Chinese restaurant. The only detraction was the leftover roomservice trays that seemed to stay outside rooms for over a day, reducing the amenity when you've walked past the same tray several times.

We liked the facilities on the property they are excellent However we stayed for quite a few days and not once was our room cleaned only towels changed and also still floors not cleaned properly before we arrived still hair on the tiles. Was noisey early hours of the morning. Really hope gets fixed before we stay again as we left them this info on the card supplied

After returning 2 hours later from dinner it was not fixed and the message from front staff was confusing (I think they forgot) Solution was to change rooms but unfortunately went from a room with ocean view to carpark view (and smaller) and had to move myself. From this experience they miss the mark as a premium venue and settle for above average. Attention to detail is important. Firstly check the TV (there was a reason it was switched off a the wall). Then if do need to inconvenience the customer provide as much help as possible and at least maintain the level of room.

We had a lovely stay at the resort. Our room had a beautiful big king bed and big batgtub and it looked out over the lagoon and the beach. We could watch the sunsets from our balcony. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our little romantic getaway weekend.

Paid 2k for a room that had the worst pillows and the bed was a rock with no bedhead aswell. Had a horrible view and also had staff try to enter room when I said im getting dressed please wait 5minutes, then 1 minute later they tried to enter again. Should of got a room on the lagoon pool if you ask me. Thats where its worth it. The facilities around the joint are elite but if you want a good night sleep Id consider other options.

The rooms are dated but the worst part was the air con vent rattled all night and couldnt be stopped. You can hear every room around you slamming doors or cupboards and talking. Drunk people yelling. Got not much sleep at all.

Room was tired & outdated but clean, cleaning staff always smiling & friendly. Markets Thursday & Sunday evenings but no shopping options close by. Free shuttle to some main attractions close by would be helpful for guests. Staff at desk a little vague about sightseeing options for tourists, not helpful when we asked. Lovely pool, pool bar very nice but small. The area around the pool bar should be adults only, no children splashing & yelling around customers or taking up the stools. The pool bar staff are lovely considering during our stay, we observed two males on seperate days, being rude & very disrespectful to the staff making drinks. The staff did very well ignoring the insults. It didn’t appear there was any security close by to ask the men to leave. Overall our stay was pleasant, we weren’t there for the casino so not sure we would stay there again.

Whilst the property is in a good location, Room 81 is right next to the back of house service area and noise from staff entering/exiting the door and activities in this area travelled through to the room. The Sandbar is great for casual dining although is not open on Mon/Tue/Wed evenings, il Piatto is closed on Mon/Tue evenings and Dragon Court is closed on Tue/Wed evenings which if you are staying at the hotel in the first half of the week limits your choice of venue to The Vue which is below average in food options and quality - plus throughout the evening you are constantly interrupted with announcements from the Casino into the restaurant of "member number ..... you have three minutes to claim [$500, $1000 ...] prize money...:

Service very poor. Staff not friendly and felt like we were annoying. Ordered room service twice. After 1.45hrs called them and reminded them we were waiting. Still didn’t turn up so we abandoned and went elsewhere to spend our money. On the way out of the hotel I notified front desk of our experience and to cancel the order and he didn’t even apologise. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Stay a few times here and it was always excellent. This time not so good, 1st we tried to add drinks to our room which apparently did not recognise us as being at that room so the staff member accused us of not wanting to pay! - very humiliating and not our fault their backend systems are wrong! 2nd they let someone add food to our room bill and following the drinks situation we never added anything else to our bill. Very disappointed this time around especially worse as it was a weekend away for my partners birthday- certainly will think again about staying

Stayed at a few places in Darwin. This was our favourite, great location, central to everything. Quiet, just minutes to the city centre, can watch the sunset on the beach or from the infinity pool.

Room was excellent and clean, bed was comfortable, having access directly to the lagoon pool was very convenient. Dining options was ok food was lovely, just no lounge area to sit and relax with a coffee and cake. Not really walkable to CBD but only $10-$15 in Uber. Walking path along beach front is lovely and amazing to watch sunset. Rooms were quiet and couldn’t really hear neighbours. Drinks a little pricey but it is a resort.

Sorry but the meals at the Sports Bar was absolutely woeful, both of us agreed that it’s the worst food in the Territory after 60 yrs of travelling and eating out. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Uncle Sam’s over the Sports Bar. Should be ashamed of yourselves for serving that crap up.

Restaurants are good view oceanfront great. Could not purchase late checkout despite being told the day before we could. So booked into day stay at Airport Novotel till our flight leaves to night and very happy with this resort lovely swimming pools bar food service great!

We had a lovely week. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were excellent in some areas, but other areas need some improvement. Poolside cocktails were disappointing, way too much ice.

Loved Mindil Beach overall. Lagoon room was beautiful with a huge bathroom.The Lagoon Pool is amazing so big and never felt crowded. Easy check in and check out. Il Piatto dinner was delicious and excellent service from staff. Will definitely be back!

Mindil Beach was excellent, great value for money, new pool area was fabulous, old one was nice too. Restaurants were all very very high standard, and never saw a staff member that didn't have a freindly greeting and a smile.

The staff were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. My only concern was that only one of the four restaurants advertised was open and not all meals on the menu were available. Very disappointing. Will stay again, will check dining options before booking
