The hotel is in a very convenient location, very close to the train station and in the centre of the city. The downside to this is that it is very noisy all day and night. It was quite hot during my stay and the room was very warm and stuffy - no AC and no fans but also too noisy to open the window. The room provided all the ammenities you need and the towels and bedding etc were very clean but everything was very scruffy and looked like it had been years since any painting or refurbishments had been done. Breakfast was simple with a limited choice. The service is very much, ask for what you need. If you ask, you get, if you don't ask, you don't get.

You get a lift from reception down to the basement then along a corridor to another lift that takes you to your floor. Second lift not working wasn’t told no offer of help to busy trying to sell breakfast. As a base it met our needs but deffo overpriced in my opinion

Good location and abt 100m to the Hoog Catherine shopping centre car park. Hotel gives a discount to bring cost to E27.50 for 24 hrs. Breakfast was quite good and organised with different options. Room was a good size although showing age with narrow shower over a bath and tiny sink. Had a problem w car park. Email confirmed a car park the day before that the hotel no longer used. Had to move the car but cost us E4.50 for nothing. Bed was quite hard and pillows lumpy. Room overlooked a noisy intersection and balcony was more like a ledge. Utrecht is expensive for hotels and parking. Oudegracht canal is the main draw but water looked murky and hardly flowed. We loved Leiden more.

Leonardo staff was friendly and willing to help. I addressed a concern I had prior to arriving and I was pleased to find out it was resolved and I received an upgrade. Professional and friendly young staff. The hotel is located in the perfect location. It's about 7 minutes away from Utrecht Centraal and if you cut through Hoog Katherijn Mall it might be five. I love how easy it was to walk around the city center, reach the restaurants, museums, Dom Tower, and more. I felt safe to walk around the vibrant city(day and night) filled with many young students and other visitors. My complain: I had no AC but fans, however it was fine because the weather in the Netherlands is pretty comfortable. Breakfast was very good and you have tea and the cappuccino/expresso machine available in the Eating area all day as well as the expresso maker and tea pot in the room. Ah, bring your own blower if you want to style your hair. Most hotels blowers are in dire need of an upgrade. Traveling single? Perfect place to be and feel safe at all time. I recommend this hotel in Utrecht. Bedankt!

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Lokatie van hotel is top. Kamer wel echt behoorlijk verouderd en gehorig. Echt een vergane glorie hotel. Om bij de kamer op de 3e verdieping te komen moesten we eerst met de trap naar de kelder en dan met een oude lift omhoog.

Pillows had only one cover and it could easily be seen that the actual pillow was extremely dirty and yellow. I suggest to wash them regularly or use double covers and make it discreet!

Die Zimmer sind alt und in einem Nachbargebäude. Zudem sind die Wände sehr dünn, man kann also die Nachbarn hören. Immerhin war das Bett bequem und das Bad relativ sauber. Die Handtücher hatten Flecken, aber man konnte sie zum Glück austauschen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich.

Greeting was pleasant. On entry to the room it was cold and the radiator had not been put on. We moved the beds apart to find a used earbud and a questionable stain. I reported to the hotel on night 1, they advised it would be resolved in day two. It was not until day three that housekeeping cleaned the room, appalling delay in basic room maintenance. When leaving, we noticed that the duvet had dark brown stains, utterly disgusting and concerning given we hadn’t notice till check out. Staff apologised but did not seem to have genuine care given the poor quality of cleanliness at this hotel. I would not recommend attending this hotel!

Het hotel kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken, het is niet vies (ik zag wel een paar zilvervisjes en een muis in de ontbijtzaal en de lift wordt volgens mij nooit schoongemaakt), maar meer versleten vloerbedekking e.d. Er staat verder in de beschrijving dat er een restaurant aanwezig is (één van mijn criteria bij het boeken), maar dat is enkel ontbijt, dat overigens prima was. Verder gaat het bij Leonardo precies andersom dan bij de andere hotels, als je de kamer wil laten schoonmaken moet je een label aan de deur hangen (normaal is dat "niet storen"). Dat werd niet verteld bij inchecken, dus mijn kamer was niet schoongemaakt de tweede dag. Verder was het personeel vriendelijk en de ligging is prima, midden in de stad, vlakbij het treinstation. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding vind ik echter niet goed, voor € 250,= per nacht verwacht je een hogere kwaliteit in een 4-sterren hotel.

Good for one night. Our room smelled like smoke. Staff gave us an air freshener but smoke smell was embedded into the room. Pictures make this place look better than it is. Great location for traveling by train and walking around the heart of the city.

Kurzer Trip, um den Sohn im Studium zu besuchen. Daher hatten wir ohne Frühstück 2 Nächte zum wiederholten mal gebucht. Wie immer war es sehr sauber und sehr gut fanden wie die optionale Zimmerreinigung. Macht imo bei 2 Tagen eh keinen Sinn. Für "Fußkranke" ist das Hotel aber nur bedingt etwas

However, we told reception and they allocated us another, better room, with a much nicer view of the street rather than..(I don't know what we were looking at before). Das Hotel Leonardo in Utrecht ist sehr günstig gelegen und man erreicht das Herz der Stadt, die Oudegracht in wenigen Minuten ebenso wie den Hauptbahnhof. Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten am Anreisetag schon gut zwei Stunden früher ins Zimmer und auch die späte Check-Outzeit ermöglichte uns noch die Teilnahme an einer Führung von „DomUnder“ am Vormittag. Das Frühstück ist prima, v.a. die Maschine, die Pancakes zubereitet ist sehr interessant und die Panecakes schmecken sehr gut. Auch die Saftauswahl ist hervorzuheben ebenso wie die der Brote und Brötchen. Dieses Hotel ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Os funcionários do Hotel Leonardo, tiveram pouca educação comigo. O cofre do apto não fechava. Falei a eles e disseram que estava estragado e se quisesse poderia deixar no cofre da Portaria. You get a lift from reception down to the basement then along a corridor to another lift that takes you to your floor. Second lift not working wasn’t told no offer of help to busy trying to sell breakfast. As a base it met our needs but deffo overpriced in my opinion

Incredible and kind front desk. I stayed there a week and they took excellent care of me. Over and beyond care. I will always remember the Leonardo Utrecht front desk staff. Great location, easy to walk to the train station and into the University. Gorgeous room with wonderful window light and view of the tower.

The staff were really good at Leonardo Hotel Utrecht. There was a problem with the TV in my room, for which someone came up promptly and fixed it. Also the online check OUT service (leaving room key in room) is something I have not seen in other hotels, and is a really good service.

Leonardo staff was friendly and willing to help. I addressed a concern I had prior to arriving and I was pleased to find out it was resolved and I received an upgrade. Professional and friendly young staff. The hotel is located in the perfect location. It's about 7 minutes away from Utrecht Centraal and if you cut through Hoog Katherijn Mall it might be five. I love how easy it was to walk around the city center, reach the restaurants, museums, Dom Tower, and more. I felt safe to walk around the vibrant city(day and night) filled with many young students and other visitors. My complain: I had no AC but fans, however it was fine because the weather in the Netherlands is pretty comfortable. Breakfast was very good and you have tea and the cappuccino/expresso machine available in the Eating area all day as well as the expresso maker and tea pot in the room. Ah, bring your own blower if you want to style your hair. Most hotels blowers are in dire need of an upgrade. Traveling single? Perfect place to be and feel safe at all time. I recommend this hotel in Utrecht. Bedankt!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, very close to the train station and in the centre of the city. The downside to this is that it is very noisy all day and night. It was quite hot during my stay and the room was very warm and stuffy - no AC and no fans but also too noisy to open the window. The room provided all the ammenities you need and the towels and bedding etc were very clean but everything was very scruffy and looked like it had been years since any painting or refurbishments had been done. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Lokatie van hotel is top. Kamer wel echt behoorlijk verouderd en gehorig. Echt een vergane glorie hotel. Om bij de kamer op de 3e verdieping te komen moesten we eerst met de trap naar de kelder en dan met een oude lift omhoog.

Das Hotel Leonardo in Utrecht ist sehr günstig gelegen und man erreicht das Herz der Stadt, die Oudegracht in wenigen Minuten ebenso wie den Hauptbahnhof. Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten am Anreisetag schon gut zwei Stunden früher ins Zimmer und auch die späte Check-Outzeit ermöglichte uns noch die Teilnahme an einer Führung von „DomUnder“ am Vormittag. Das Frühstück ist prima, v.a. die Maschine, die Pancakes zubereitet ist sehr interessant und die Panecakes schmecken sehr gut. Auch die Saftauswahl ist hervorzuheben ebenso wie die der Brote und Brötchen. Dieses Hotel ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Good location and abt 100m to the Hoog Catherine shopping centre car park. Hotel gives a discount to bring cost to E27.50 for 24 hrs. Breakfast was quite good and organised with different options. Room was a good size although showing age with narrow shower over a bath and tiny sink. Had a problem w car park. Email confirmed a car park the day before that the hotel no longer used. Had to move the car but cost us E4.50 for nothing. Bed was quite hard and pillows lumpy. Room overlooked a noisy intersection and balcony was more like a ledge. Utrecht is expensive for hotels and parking. Oudegracht canal is the main draw but water looked murky and hardly flowed. We loved Leiden more.

It says that the rooms have air condition but its not really true. Its central heating/cooling and even when we had it on 19 degrees, it try never went below 26. luckily we got a fan when complaining. Also, elevator did not work during out stay.
