Everything was clean and orderly and the staff were great to deal with and very professional. The only disappointing thing was the fitness room is tiny and barebones for equipment. There was also no cleaning supplies to wipe down what we did use which leaves you wondering. The location is awesome and we will definitely come back.

Stunning property and surroundings. Beautiful room. Would have been helpful to have more signage to the gym. Gym is super tiny and equipment quite old - could upgrade. Food, services and local community all wonderful. Highly recommend Seahorses Cafe, just a quick walk to the marina.

Room was well appointed and a nice size, so cozy with the fireplace. The bed was so comfortable! Nice patio with beautiful views of the marina and bay. The self cleaning soaker tub in the bathroom is a great feature.The bathroom ammentities are beautiful and have an amazing scent.Wonderful space and a beautiful location. The staff is exceptional - welcoming, friendly and happy to accomodate wherever they can. Spa was just perfect and the heated outdoor pool and hot tub was clean and so relaxing - available until late. Choice for pub or restaurant dining with delicious options for food and drinks.The shuttle by boat to Butchart Gardens is a fabulous option and highly recommended to complete your experience.

Brentwood Bay always delivers. The pool area is great, the pub is always a good time, service top tier and you can’t beat its location. We love it here.

I have this hotel all five stars the grounds staff and rooms were all beautiful. But parking is definitely an issue. When paying that much for a room I feel like parking should have designated spots for guests. We had no area to park and the front desk resolution was to park up the street. With bags etc. not really what I wanted to hear. But overall everything else was awesome!

Clean room, large personal hot tub with a view, bonus 2 person jacuzzi soaking tub, large bathroom, fire place, great housekeeping staff, quiet resort. The boat shuttle and tour was marvelous!! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our honeymoon!

We had a 1 bedroom suite. Room was clean and spacious. Gorgeous view. The deck was small and 90% taken up by the hottub. So, nice to have a hottub but it does not allow for any kind of outdoor seating on the patio. If that is important, stick with a standard room. We also had someone staying in the 2 bedroom villa....they also looked nice and spacious with a great view. Parking is tight but there is overflow parking across the street. Pro Tip....a third party booking site was half the cost with a much better cancellation policy versus booking direct from the hotel website.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was spacious and clean, we had a great view of the water, the hot tub and heated pool was perfect, even in the cold of November and we normally had it to ourselves. Attached restaurant and pub were good, we visited them a few times during our stay. The staff were all excellent and very kind. Be sure to book any spa services ahead of time, they were all booked up for our last minute vacation, but it’s on the list for next time! The only down side was the fitness centre was extremely small and lacking equipment

Found some water stain marks on the bathtub and there was stains in the pillow which was kind of wierd. Also front desk sometimes takes a while to answer calls. Except for that my stay was wonderful got to rest in really well

Very comfortable king bed! Excellent cleaning standards, and the large tub filled very quickly. Everything functioned as expected, and the views from the upstairs guest rooms are expansive, featuring the marina and Saanich Inlet views beyond the lush garden and pool area. The pub was great, and obviously very popular with the community, as well as hotel guests, featuring a wide range of very tasty dishes on a menu that changes regularly. Breakfast in the Arbutus Room offered great choices and an inspiring view. Dinner in the Arbutus room was delicious, and Adriano the sommelier enhanced our meal with some excellent and affordable wine options. The marina services are well-rounded. We took a couples boat tour, and our guide Archie was superb. The water shuttle to Butchart Gardens is a great way to access this outstanding historical site. We saw many SUP and kayak paddlers leaving from the marina. It's a great place to paddle, with calm water and plenty of sites. The spa services are well-organized. The spa lounge offers a spot to relax by a fireplace or on the deck of the pool area, which is lovely. The couples massage was excellent. If you're looking for a getaway venue that offers all of the above in one location, this is it. Very personable staff. We'll return someday.

Brentwood Bay Resort is a beautiful spot, Tracey at the front desk is helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was delish! Only down was the housekeeping, it was ok, but not thorough. Would definitely recommend.

This property is gorgeous, our room and the view from the room were spectacular. The cleanliness of the room, the little VIP gift we received and the check in staff were great. We used the boat shuttle to visit the gardens and the marina staff were super friendly and professional. The thing that took away from this being a 5/5 is the restaurants, you can't get service at the pool, we ordered room service and waited almost an hour in the room for it when we were told it would be down in 10 minutes, had a wrong order brought to us in the pub and paid way too much for the subpar mother's day brunch because there were no other options around here for dining. I would stay here again but would have to be more prepared as far as brining some of our food and drinks with us.

This is a beautiful location! At a little tiny marina on the ocean. The staff are great. The spa is amazing too. The biggest issue we had was that the mattress in our room (311) needs to be replaced. We both woke up each morning with kinks in our necks and sore backs. Also, the grout on the tile bathroom floor is discoloured due to not being cleaned (gross). The lighting in the bathroom vanity isn’t great either. Seem like small things but when you pay top dollar for a resort you would expect too quality and cleanliness.

Great hotel, rooms large and well appointed. Patio level is convenient if travelling with a dog, great access to outdoor pool and hot tub. Pool was heated, hot tub could have been just a touch warmer. Beautiful views. Beds very comfortable. Huge jetted tub and walk in shower. There are housecoats and flip flops in the closet. Only complaint was we were not told about the $25 food and beverage credit we had until we checked out, luckily the front desk clerk assisted us in grabbing some pastries and coffee but it would have been nice to know this for our supper or at least breakfast. Otherwise beautiful resort, no complaints and will definitely return soon.

Although situated in a scenic locale this property is starting to show its age. Our room furniture was scratched, the air conditioner was noisy, the patio and walkways needed a good power wash and the garden was weedy. All of this lack of attention to detail made us wonderful why the room was so expensive.

Check in and check out was a breeze. The room on the 3rd floor had incredible vaulted ceilings making the already spacious room seem even larger. Our view was so pretty! Loved the cozy robes.

Our second stay here and it was lovely for a mini getaway! Amazing views, food and staff. Only thing I would recommend is they replace their mattresses. They’re not very comfortable and feel pretty worn out.

The outdoor pool was nice and warm and we enjoyed it thoroughly, even on a 10 degree November day. Our room was comfy and relaxing with a lovely view of the harbour- all rooms face the harbour. All the pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor, which gave us a walk out patio.

Front desk staff amateurish - service and attitude. They first said I was VIP Blue, then said they only provide Blue level of amenities to Expedia (I am Gold level). Also suggested we swapped one pillow in the room (our bad for their good) which was hugely insulting.

Top notch resort from the get go. Checked in easily, offered a local cider at the front desk, poured into a nice glass, escorted with drink in hand to my room where the she gave me an overview of the ammenities. Room cozy, beautiful furnishings, fireplace and a really nice view of the marina. Happy hour in the pub. Food was truly delicious, especially the cauliflower wings. Quiet grounds, very friendly and accomodating staff. Definitely will be visiting again.

What a wonderful trip for our second wedding anniversary. This is also our second visit to Brentwood Bay. Check-in was excellent, and both ladies who helped us were amazing. We had dinner at Arbutus—the service was great, and so was the food. Overall, the staff were friendly, and it was a great stay. This is our go-to hotel - 10/10!

Staff was great. Everyone that greeted us or we came in contact with was friendly. From the front desk to the dining area. Our experience was incredible and we will definitely be back. We did not have time to try out the spa. Look forward to doing that and taking advantage of the beach front to paddle board. We stayed here as part of our wedding anniversary.

There was no upgrade for the room. They did honour the $25 beverage credit. I was very unhappy with the pub manager. We had our dinner and paid by Visa, immediately after paying I received a confirmation of the charge from my Visa on the phone, the server and manager however claimed the charges didn’t go through, I showed them my phone and confirmation, still they wanted us to stay until they find out from “back office” after 20min the manager comes out and says yes they received the charges and we are free to go. About half hr later we get a phone call from the manager saying no they didn’t receive the funds and I need to go back and pay, I asked them how is that possible and I ended up calling my Visa who said they had mistakenly re credited after they charged my Visa, I called the manager back and asked if they could charge to our room and they agreed. The entire bill was $63 and they took over an hour of my time calling Visa and kept us in the restaurant for at least 20 minutes without even saying they are sorry about what THEY had done!

This is such a beautifully serene location. Just heavenly. We will definitely be back for a longer stay and to experience the spa amenities. There is a very convenient shuttle boat to Butchart Gardens which helps in avoiding vehicle traffic. The pub food was delish! And everyone was super helpful and friendly. The Tyneham shower products and lotion were to die for!! So much I ordered some! All made in BC. Exquisite location. Pool and hot tub on site too! Definitely recommend!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this resort and we will return again. Love the view in the morning and at sunset. Food is very good but very limited for Vegans. This year in the dining room there was a Lions Mane Mushroom Cake that was delicious but needed more sauce. We asked for extra. The Roast Cauliflower main at $30 was tasty but you will be hungry in an hour. No carb or protein on the plate. Needed potatoes. You can get potatoes at an extra cost but when you can get Ling Cod for $35 that seems ridiculous, they should be included. Also no vegan desert but they were able to bring us a delicious cheesecake from the Pub. Last year they had a killer Cauliflower Wings appie that should be brought back. Pool and hot tub are nice. Enjoyed our spa service. Staff great. Our room needed some paint in a few areas which made it seem like a 3 star unfortunately. We look forward to next year.

Everything functioned as expected, and the views from the upstairs guest rooms are expansive, featuring the marina and Saanich Inlet views beyond the lush garden and pool area. The pub was great, and obviously very popular with the community, as well as hotel guests, featuring a wide range of very tasty dishes on a menu that changes regularly. Breakfast in the Arbutus Room offered great choices and an inspiring view. Dinner in the Arbutus room was delicious, and Adriano the sommelier enhanced our meal with some excellent and affordable wine options. The marina services are well-rounded. We took a couples boat tour, and our guide Archie was superb. The water shuttle to Butchart Gardens is a great way to access this outstanding historical site. We saw many SUP and kayak paddlers leaving from the marina. It's a great place to paddle, with calm water and plenty of sites. The spa services are well-organized. The spa lounge offers a spot to relax by a fireplace or on the deck of the pool area, which is lovely. The couples massage was excellent. If you're looking for a getaway venue that offers all of the above in one location, this is it. Very personable staff. We'll return someday.

This property is gorgeous, our room and the view from the room were spectacular. The cleanliness of the room, the little VIP gift we received and the check in staff were great. We used the boat shuttle to visit the gardens and the marina staff were super friendly and professional. The thing that took away from this being a 5/5 is the restaurants, you can't get service at the pool, we ordered room service and waited almost an hour in the room for it when we were told it would be down in 10 minutes, had a wrong order brought to us in the pub and paid way too much for the subpar mother's day brunch because there were no other options around here for dining. I would stay here again but would have to be more prepared as far as brining some of our food and drinks with us.

When we arrived , the welcome was helpful and checking professional. Beautiful setting and great view from our room. We were in our 28 ft RV and they had no problem providing a secure parking place for our vehicle and ebikes. This property exceeded our expectations.
