Limited restaurant for dinner but there are other places in walking distance. We were signed up for a shuttle to our ship but it didnt arrive on time so we took a taxi. Other than that, it was fine.

Hotel is close to the cruise terminal so the hotel is always packed on cruise days - there are 3 elevators and only 2 worked -so it was a long wait to get an elevator as everyone on a cruise are leaving the same time.

The minifridge was broken. The shower door wouldn't stay closed. The ironing board was not flat. The pool was closed. The elevator sounded like it was about to fall apart.

The man who checked us in was so nice, fantastic! The worst thing about the place was the elevators were slow. Our room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was great! We mainly liked the location, because from the airport, you can take the orange line train to the government center,($2.25 each) then hop on the free inner people mover route, then get off at Knight Center, and the hotel is 100 feet away. It was also very close to Bayside Park, which is one stop before Knight Center. We only had to walk a couple blocks after the Bayside train station to catch the free Coral Gable trolley, which took us right to the cruise port.

Easy check in, perfect location from all the party spots. The pool in this hotel is unopened as of now. Only thing is the pool is not as close as they make it seem, it’s about a 10min walk that requires you to walk along the streets. Also they give you a parking card, you will pay $40 a day every 24hrs. They take a hold of $150 which covers the parking in the end and you get the remaining balance.

Our room was extremely dusty which made it difficult to sleep because I could not breathe. The bathrooms are incredibly small. The staff was wonderful. Overall I have stayed at other JW Marriott properties and was not impressed at all.

The hotel is in a good location and although the lobby is fine the rooms are run down: old AC, “popcorn” walls, old bathroom. This is manageable for a short stay. However, after our first night the room was not cleaned by housekeeping. I complained about this and the next day they cleaned it but left the blanket I had used to sleep in a very disorganized way on the bed. Instead of arriving to a clean and organized room, the impression was that someone had laid on the bed to take a nap with the blanket. Found a black hair in the shower, overall small details that give the impression that cleanliness is not a priority for this hotel.

Arrived later in the evening so we were already tired, just looking to shower, stretch out on the bed and watch tv. Supposed to have water for guests in lobby. None to be found. Paid $15 for 3 bottles. Got to our room. Hair on the hand towel by the sink and the tv didn’t work. Cars doing burnouts and racing in the streets until 1am. Called down to get reservations on the shuttle from the hotel to the cruise terminal. Told to be there at 11:00am. Names not on the list. They never made our reservation. We did manage to get on the bus but not because of the hotel. The driver was just gracious. Hotel advertised a restaurant on site. It is really just a Starbucks. They sell Starbucks coffee and other items but it’s not a Starbucks. You canst use the app or gift cards. Food is typical precooked and microwaved. Overall, the staff was very nice but I expected much more from the Marriott name.

I visited Courtyard this week, and the experience was far from what I expected. The photos provided online were completely misleading compared to the reality of my room. I booked an executive suite, but it did not meet that standard. The room was outdated, with old furniture, worn bed linens with an unpleasant odor, and sofas in need of a deep clean. The lighting above the bed and the main light switch did not work. My balcony was extremely small—barely the size of a matchbox—with no seating, no city view, and a bad smell. Overall, the hotel did not match its advertised description, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a luxury or comfortable stay.

Perfect location to enjoy Miami, and get to the airport quickly, and with on site parking! The room, king suite, was huge and nicely laid out. The bed was very comfortable. Cons: the door handle to the tiny balcony fell off in our hands, a few minor things in the room didn’t work; dressing mirror and mini fridge…the “sound proof” windows were not, it was very noisy. The balcony was not as pictured, only room for two people standing.

Decent hotel but aging. We got to our room and the fire detector was chirping. Had to find maintenance to let them know. They handled it immediately. All hallways were very warm, like A/C wasn't working at all. Every employee was great.

The room was spacious, and loved that it came with made-to-order breakfast! Staff were generally kind and helpful. Pool and gym were great! Only downside to this hotel was that it was quite noisy when sleeping at night, with street and traffic noise. That said, being downtown also meant everything was walkable, lots of dining options a walk away, and the free monorail was also steps away. Overall, a good stay!

Overall a very nice stay however being on the 4th floor and close to a road was very noisy when trying to sleep. Recommend being on a higher floor.

I have a problem with the billing department, they charge my card multiple times and process it. I’ve been trying to get a hold of them but I only get their answering machine and the front desk say they can’t help me. Very frustrating!

Nice location and clean rooms. Only gave a 4 because we reserved a shuttle to port and was still waiting for it 15 minutes after scheduled time. Git an Uber instead, informed staff and asked them to take iur nanes off but they still charged us.

Great location, great rooms. Lack off cleaning service. I stayed for 7 nights and housekeeping missed my room two days. The most disturbing was that I was asked to leave a cash deposit of $350 US upon check in and I just received $291 US back because the front desk people did not have enough cash. The manager Andrew told me that he will call me to fix this issue but I am still waiting. I am a regular guest for Marriott and this was disapointing.

The bed was pretty comfortable. Have been at this property numerous times. The check-in was not the best. Had to wait 5 hours to get a room. I had emailed for early check-in but I guess no room was available. This time the bathroom ceiling had water leaking which was pretty weird to experience at this property.

The place is located in the perfect area. You can literally walk to the Bayside area, Brickell area, or take the full loop (free ride) to those locations. The loop takea you to all the great parts (restaurants, shopping, experiences) of the city. You don't need to pay for extra transportation unless you want to go beyond the downtown area like Fort Lauderdale, the Aventura Mallto, and other nice locations. The location is priceless.

The only issue we encounter there was the toilet tank when we checked in was on the verge of falling off. Someone from the cleaning staff should have reported it and had it forwarded to maintenance.

Lovely property, stayed in a suite it was very spacious with two couches, two tvs and a microwave, sink in the kitchen area. The elevators were a bit squeaky but otherwise a lovely hotel. Definitely get the breakfast pass if you plan on eating breakfast there it’s worth the money, breakfast is made to order but you get a good amount of food we always felt full afterwards. Customer service is very kind and was accommodating to us. Would definitely recommend this hotel! Parking is $43 per night as well just be that you calculate that expenses in as well
