Our bathroom light worked when it wanted too. The showerhead was horrible and the heater/AC unit didnt work. We had to use a space heater. Even on the low setting it was too hot in the room. Made us sweat while we were sleeping.

The room was not good in the AC barely worked it was hot the whole time I turned the temperature down and still would not cool the room down.

The building don\'t look like the picture on the website. Had me question if we were at the right place. There was NOT a shuttle from the airport. You call a phone number and a "Taxi" come and get you at a cost. Once you check in go to your room, please don\'t expect to hang up your clothes or sit your suit case on anything but the floor. The room didn\'t look like the website picture. The bathroom was not great, the toilet was short and crooked and the baseboard was falling apart(reported that to front desk). The breakfast they offered was not good. They was close to the NEX and Navy Graduation and that was all that mattered. I have to check my credit card statement to confirm i was not charged twice.

Very professional and helpful staff members and housekeeping were excellent; the most significant issue was there was no safe to put our valuables in the room or at a desk, even though it says at the desk on request!

The door to our room showed signs of someone trying to break in (wood frame damaged) and saw another door a couple rooms downs with the same thing. Did not make us feel safe. Also no baggage check, and we were told this was do to theft.

Overall, this property fitted our needs to see the graduation of our son from Navy Boot Camp. The staff was friendly, overall the rooms were clean. The property is dated with not a lot of amenities and the bathroom inside the room was small. If you’re looking for a nice simple clean place to stay close to the Navy base, I would recommend.

It was an extremely difficult check-in and they couldn't find the reservation. They booked and charged me on the hotels side and told me to cancel my reservation through hotels.com but stated not to tell them they charged at the hotel. We did not have a closet, rack, anything to hang towels up, no mirror in the room. There was an orange extension power cord as the only means of charging electronics. No microwave. The shower curtain was dirty. Holes in the sheets. Breakfast was not edible. Went to the counter twice during the stay and had to go find staff as noone was at the front desk. Side door was not secured and just opened, rather than using the room key. Carpets were always dirty. Vending machines did not work. Again, nobody at the desk to return my keys upon checkout. This was the worst hotel we have stayed in, ever.

We paid for three days and only stayed one. The room stank of mildew and I am allergic to molds. The bedding was damp and the floor was sticky. There was no closet or place to hang your clothes. We checked out but the management is refusing to refund us for the days we did not stay. I would not stay here if you have mold allergies. Definitely do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Oof. Rough stay. Bed was...wet? Moist sheets that also had hair on them from a previous stay. Had to get all new bedding and put it on myself. No hot water. Morning shower was lukewarm. Bugs crawling out of the baseboard. Room smelled of rot. No soundproofing at all. For $80 a night, at least it needs to be clean with hot water. Pretty gross overall

There was blood stain on the wall Blood stain in the cover sheet Stain duty horrible smell towels Horrible dirty smell linen in general Matrix cover it was satin and disgusting I request lining change on my bed they didn’t do it I come back after 3hrs and found my door open And nothing was done they just left the lining on the bed but didn’t make the bed for us I when true hell while my staying at this place

We stayed two nights while attending our grandson's graduation from Navy boot camp. The location was perfect being on a short drive to the ceremony. Check in was easy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the price was affordable. I would stay here again if I were to be in the area.

They didn’t clean(sweep, wipe counters, make bed. Only brought towels, mold around rim of sink, flies, thru did dump trash. The smell and the ceiling in the bathroom over shower. I also wil say if a quest is put spit something which I saw… they match that energy. I told the it at the front the pictures online didn’t look like what I saw. I was told there renovating and gets offensive when comments a re made like that. If I didn’t need to be close to base for graduation I would have left

I loved how close this hotel is to the naval base. Overall it is a good hotel but my only complaint is the bed was horrible. You can hear and feel all the springs in the bed

Staff were great. They tried to charge my card several times the day prior to check in even tho i selected pay at facility. We came to a understanding and he waited till we got there to check in . Room was spotless ! Cons. Beds were very firm so for myself it wasnt good but my husband loved it. They dont have anywhere to hang your clothes if you have a suit or anything. My favorite is the glow in the dark toilet seat! Lol the hallway on the first floor did have a bad smell. We also loved that the room wasnt carpted .

Stayed here for Navy graduation. Super convenient as it was about 2 miles away. Room was clean but very minimal but what do expect for less than $100/night? There is a train that super close so if you are a light sleeper that will keep you awake. I think the horns blasted about 3x in the night. Lots of lots talking/partying outside about 2AM…not that these are their fault. Do not attempt to use the iron! Coated in black something that will ruin your clothes! And don’t plan to have the free breakfast. It was very minimal and was like frozen waffles at best. Great for a one night for moving through.

Workers did not speak english and tv's did not carry reg channels like abc, cds or nbc. Tv's only carried old tv shows from 50's tgru 80's or very old movies.

The stay was fair. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was awful and food runs out quickly. They told me a 3rd party brings the food and when it’s gone it’s gone! The staff was friendly. It’s been updated but still feels older. Very close to the navy base. I could hear everything people were saying in the hallway and in the adjoining room. No privacy if you have an adjoining room.

The property was antiquated but clean. Staff was friendly & responsive. The bed wasn’t comfortable, the pillows were feather & would flatten out after a few minutes of laying on it. The bed linen was basic- low thread count sheets & flimsy blanket. It was also noisy from the ac unit

First of all i booked 2 bed room and i had the room photo of just that which i was charged $167 dollars. Not worth the money at all the room was really small luckily i was with my sisters. I told the Sir behind the counter that it was reserv for 2 bed and he said no it was a one bed. We chalked up that error to get into the room and see the metal bed frame was so loud every move. The closet was on the wall, toilet tissue was sitting on top of toilet(no holder) and to top it off the bathtub had a prior hole in it that was putty in(alot) and not smoothed out.I have stwayed in alot of different spots traveling but this was not worth the price at all!! I gave them 2 stars because the little snacks that he gave us at checkin. Cant say i will ever stay at this hotel brand again

Two comments. The internet connection was poor to bad. I ended up using the next door McDonalds Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast was a joke!! The room needs to be better equipped to allow use of electronic devices.

To start the manager called me 2 days before our stay and asked for payment i did not know who he was and policy was to pay when i arrived they didnt want to book it the room was dirty and the bed didnt have a blanket also had one bed not two the bed made so much noise the room next to us banged on the wall every time we moved there was missing light bulbs the electric outlets wouldnt hold my charger in the socket, the T.V. Picture was so bad we could barely see the screen, plus we called a day ahead of time to move one day due to a missed flight and they refused to change or refund my money for the one day after the manager hounded me for early payment they were rude and shut the breakfast down 30 min early claiming to be out of food this was a special day of my daughters Navy graduation and the 3 rooms we had were so awefull it made the entire trip off

Picture was so bad we could barely see the screen, plus we called a day ahead of time to move one day due to a missed flight and they refused to change or refund my money for the one day after the manager hounded me for early payment they were rude and shut the breakfast down 30 min early claiming to be out of food this was a special day of my daughters Navy graduation and the 3 rooms we had were so awefull it made the entire trip off

Scam!!! I stayed here by myself for 2 nights My 50 deposit was not returned. I’ve called multiple times and spoke with several different people. I was told it would be returned after 7 business days. I’m still waiting on the manager Mike to call me back. The last person I spoke with after a month of working to get my deposit back said it was a stain on the towel. I don’t care if it was five cents, I don’t like being robbed. I don’t recommend you to stay at a place that scams you out your money. They possibly can’t do this to Navel clientele whom they market to because I’m sure the base would tell customers not to use this hotel.

The staff did not have a room ready. They ended up giving me a room that didnt even have a made bed. The pillows were on the chair next to the bed with no pillow cases on them and there was no comforter. The room was dirty. I tried to check out that evening because it was so bad but there was no staff anywhere to be found. They ended up charging me full price for a room i couldnt even use. Its a run down location.

Everything in this hotel was up to the standards I hoped and exceeded my expectations considering the location. The staff was great. No complaints at all! Cleaning was really good so I commend the crew. The food was very well displayed and put out.

The hotel site said the base was walking distance however it is on a highway there’s absolutely no sidewalks how can they say it’s walking distance. That was the reason I chose that location for the walking distance. It was my first time in Chicago my bad for not getting more information before I went. But misleading none the less.

If you're passing and need ONE night to stay this place will suffice. But the bed is UNCOMFORTABLE. I spoke to several guests and they all say the same. The place has mold that is just painted over. The AC unit trips and only works for 15 mins at a time. Hair dryer doesn't work. Room service doesn't get done until 6PMish and its done half-assed .. i was there for a week and it was only swept 2x. when The bedding is juat two sheets and a thin throw blanket. "Breakfast" was just cereal and a breakfast bar. .. I'm not sure who's leaving five star.Reviews because all the people I talk to over a week's stay All had the same consensus ..

Close to Navy RTC. With Sarge's short cut, we were on base for graduation in less than 30 minutes. The hotel is bare minimum, no decor in room. Although the bed was hard, my sailor said it was the best sleep she has had in 2 months. No special amenities except the hook on the door so we could hang a wreath and small photo background set up. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Not bad but front desk at check in was hard to hear/understand. Talking between the plexiglass was really hard to hear him. Basket ball players looking forward to hot breakfast and the pancake machine was out of order, had to ask for more eggs and tater tots to be made so my kids could eat. There were only Frosted Flakes for cereal. Everything else about our stay was fine though.

The staff was wonderful. The area is close, and convenient to get to the Naval base. A lot of the amenities were either broken, Or didnt work well. The area feels safe, and has a McDonalds and convenience store close by. The breakfast in the morning was more continental with bagels and toast. They did offer precooked pancakes and tater tots, which was not very good.

We stayed here for Navy Boot Camp Pass-In-Review. They were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze! Nice little breakfast in the morning. Bagels, eggs, tater tots, muffins, fruit, pancakes and coffee. Very clean!!

The stay was fair. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was awful and food runs out quickly. They told me a 3rd party brings the food and when it’s gone it’s gone! The staff was friendly. It’s been updated but still feels older. Very close to the navy base. I could hear everything people were saying in the hallway and in the adjoining room. No privacy if you have an adjoining room.

Two comments. The internet connection was poor to bad. I ended up using the next door McDonalds Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast was a joke!! The room needs to be better equipped to allow use of electronic devices.

I was very disappointed in our stay at this location. I attempted to resolve our issues with them directly- they requested information. After I provided that, there was no response. -While on site, every time we tried to talk to the staff about our issues, they were outside on the phone. -There was no hot tub, as advertised. -The room was not well cleaned- Ring and debris around the tub drain; hair on the bedroom floor. -Crawling pest (photo taken and staff notified) in breakfast room with exposed food- health issue. - breakfast posted 6-9 but on Thursdays (navy graduation day) start at 530. No hot food ready. -A lamp had an apparent short. Reported to staff- safety issue. -Contracted shuttle driver was unsafe/ rushed; charged more than stated. -Bathtub had plastic piece that looked like a bath mat but was used to cover the split in the tub beneath it. It was thin and moved with me. I thought I might would fall through it- safety concern. - cost similar to recent new builds in the area With many, weekly naval families coming in to the area and the money that comes with them, one would expect a clean, safe, and affordable location. VERY disappointed. They need to do better. You should find a different hotel.

Air conditioner not working properly. Toilet was clogged when I got there and when I reported it they sent house keeping with a plunger for me to fix. Room falling apart...tub cracks. Floor peeling up, paint off the walls. I get that you get what you pay for but this was one of (if not the worst) run down hotels I've ever stayed in. O ya and to top it off a $70 hotel wants $35 to check in an hour and a half early. Stay away.
