Great location. Stayed before and always a positive experience but this time I experienced: the pool wasn’t open, constant loud stomping right above me continuously; all day and night- like intentional, the room didn’t have blow dryer, the iron didn’t work, the refrigerator wasn’t staying cold and worst no hot water- said it was repaired and it wasn’t. This is the exact opposite of all my prior experiences and I was stunned - normally great from staff to room. The ice machine wasn’t clean or working. Laundry the water wasn’t hot and didn’t know till after I spent money.

Not a bad option for budget travelers but keep your expectations low. The facility it worn and needs updating. No USB ports in the rooms, there was mold along the grout in the shower. The pool was closed, probably because due to business being slow. The “Business Center “ (more like a closet), printer was out of order. The free breakfast was disappointing, small pastry items, a waffle iron and cold cereal. What was really disappointing was how they cut corners with the breakfast, with powdered coffee creamer (not even the liquid creamer cups), watered down juice and off brand syrup. There’s a difference between being frugal and being cheap. Decide for yourself which category they fell under.

I did not like that there was bed bugs there that beat me and that they did not put me in a handicap room had me go all the way on the second floor with a disability hard to get up and down the steps because they did not have a elevator and they were rude to me limited food for breakfast and was not very friendly or tried to resolve the issue.

The room was clean enough for a budget hotel. Everything could do with a bit of a refresh though. Currently training for a 15K and was happy to see a "Fitness Center" listed. However, this was a small room with a treadmill, bike, and elliptical crammed together, and their was no light. I ran 3 miles in the semi-darkness. Also, was excited about the indoor "pool" which was not open and appeared to have a film across the top of the water. The staff was very nice though, and were kind enough to give us paper plates when we ordered chinese takeout. Not a bad place, but would probably stay elsewhere in the future.

We were on the road for nearly 3 months & this is was 1 of the the best economy hotels we visited. The pool was closed & the carpets are worn out, but the overall condition really was very good. Everything was clean, shower worked great, bathroom was in good condition, no leaks, drips or noisy & no sign of mildew or mold. The beds were very comfortable & the TV, Cable & remote all worked properly. The air/heater unit worked properly & weren't annoyingly loud. Free breakfast was decent, we had yogurt, bread & bagels, juices, good coffee & decaf, instant oatmeal, mini-waffels, apples, (small) oranges, cereal & milk. There wasn't a ton of food out, but there weren't many guests either while we were there. A number of other reviews talked about customer service issues. We didn't experience that at all, just the opposite. All the employees we ran into, may speak english as a second language & I think some of the 'customer service' issues others experienced were really cultural communication differences. The carpets are worn out but clean. Others reviews complained about dirt coming out of the carpet or the need for deep cleaning, but I'm pretty sure that they were experiencing the carpet nap coming apart. When I showered, you could see the broken pieces of (dyed) carpet fiber in the 'dirt' that washed off my feet. Really, it's not that bad. Great location with nice malls & restaurants nearby. We'd stay there again in a hearbeat.

The grounds are in terrible condition - overgrown grass and weeds everywhere The air-conditioning unit was malfunctioning - it would turn on and off and the room was hot and muggy. The pool was closed due to construction. The bathroom in the lobby was so dirty ... you could see a black line around the water level of the toilet bowl, fake eyelashes on the floor, and pieces of toilet paper all over the floor. The business center was not working either... the computer was disconnected, the area was disorganized and dirty... looking terribly abandoned. During breakfast, the sausage and gravy had spilled and dried out on the counter and nobody came to clean it up.

The room smelled awful as soon as we opened the door. After being inside a few minutes and cranking the AC, we realized the smell was coming from the air conditioning unit. Closer inspection showed black mold on the AC vents and additional mold inside on the coils. Opening windows was not an option because there were no screens in the window and there was a wasp nest just outside the window. We checked out immediately, and the front desk person told us he would refund our money, but was not able to give us any sort of paper documentation to verify our refund. It was a horrible experience.

Pillow cases, blankets and towels had mold stains on them. The room had a musty and moldy smell. White bathroom scums made shower feel dirty and slippery. I had to purchase cleaning supplies to get the room livable for the duration of my stay.

The ceiling was falling down above the bed. The shower curtain was not big enough and the shower rod was broke, which caused the curtain to slide down. The hall way and the stairs were not vacuumed the 4 days I was there. The breakfast was the same every day, the bread was stale and the hard boiled eggs were rotten and not refrigerated.

Outdated room, Poorly cleaned (I had to change the sheets immediately and I also requested new towels), they also ran out of food for breakfast (It was only 8:30am). Definitely wasn't worth the $80 a night.

The room was clean, as was the bathroom. However: 1) There was no accessible outlet for me to plug my cpap in by the bed hubby and I choose. Kids were given the bed closest to the wall that would be harder for us adults to manuever around, and we discovered the next morning that they had the only outlet next to a bed. 2) Our bed was hard & lumpy. Between not having my cpap and being unable to get very comfortable, I only got a couple hiurs of sleep. Same for the hubby and our daughter. Only our son seemed to get rested and that's probably because he slept mostly on top of some pillows. 3) Be cautious when sitting down on the desk chair. If you lean back even slightly you feel like you're going to topple over, because of how the chair shifts. 4) The fridge inside the tv stand didn't work. As far as we could tell, it was plugged into the only available outlet in the room. We didn't turn on the tv, but at least we were able to crawl under the desk to plug in some devices. It was too far away to power my cpap (it has no battery). 5) The toilet didn't want to flush sometimes. 6) There was some sort of green tape around the top of the tub. Maybe a guide for someone to put caulking? Seemed like an odd room to give us, if it needed maintenance. 7) Across from our room was a handicapp room. Hotel was OK. It smelled like a combination of smoke breath and halitosis. Room wasn't too bad, but the bathroom is showing some wear. Walls near the bathtub were crumbling and the tub itself was peeling apart. Staff was friendly at least.

The baymont had a good bed and tv. The bathroom had no electrical outlets, so hard to dry hair or use curling iron. The party next door was very noisy and out in the fall noise too. Very thin walls, so made sleeping difficult.

For the price, it was an okay stay. Check-in was friendly and quick enough, the room was mostly clean. There was a long hair on the bed that didn’t belong to either me or my husband. The bathroom was off putting and needed a lot of updates - paint peeling, tub cracks/peels, stains, floor cracks. Breakfast was underwhelming and the hot foods were served lukewarm at best. The overall experience wasn’t bad enough for me to bring up to management while there, but I wouldn’t stay again. For the value, it was just okay.

The overall experience wasn’t bad enough for me to bring up to management while there, but I wouldn’t stay again. For the value, it was just okay.

Oh and they deactivated our room keys after our second night even though we paid for three. They did reactivate them.

Had an issue with night clerk on 4/20/2024. One of my staff got locked out of room about 11:30pm. Went to front desk to talk to night clerk and he was no where to be found. There were other people up there trying to reach him as well. He had shone signs of being intoxicated about 11pm when we witnessed him last. Tried repeatedly to call with no answer. Banging on door and window to office with no response. Contacted another Baymont in the area and the owner showed up from other location. He happened to know owner of the one we were staying at. Upon entering the coded door and opening the office door the night clerk was passed out in the floor. By 1:30am my staff finally got new key to room, guest that were waiting left for new hotel. Was not happy.

Our bathroom/toilet wasn't working on our first day and continued to frequently stop flushing. Room keys randomly stopped working so we had to have 6 replacements. The filter on the AC/heat made the room smell horribly. Front desk staff were very helpful. There’s no elevator, but they jumped in and carried our suitcases up the stairs for me. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A couple breakfast items were a little stale, but they had plenty of good options.

Went to check in. The front desk clerk was rude. Went to the room only one lamp worked told front desk he came in tried to fix it broke the only lamp working ask for a different room seemed inconvenienced by that got us in another room. When we opened the curtains found black mold. Not only that after booked on the hotels.com app they charged my bank account for another room. When complained in the morning said it’s not charged twice but the charge is still there! We stay there frequently and won’t be back. When showed the pictures of the mold didn’t even get an apology or anything! Won’t be back our business will be elsewhere!!

Location was ideal, pool was indoors and well maintained….room a/c struggled a little. My biggest inconvenience was the check in staff. I used a third party app for the reservation and that was fine but at arrival a $50 deposit was needed and the staff didn’t know how to process the card! I call my creditor thinking it was a fraud alert but it was simply the staff inputting the WRONG address! Check-in took me 35 minutes vs 5 minutes! Additionally, I was charged a deposit two times and the refund struggle is ongoing!

This was my first time staying at a Baymont, as I normally stay at a Marriott at a higher price point. Pros: It is in a good location where it is close to restaurants and a mall. The price was great for a one night stay, especially since it included breakfast. Family owned so check in felt more friendly. Although the hotel is in need of updating, the updates that have been made were good; new sink and mirror in bathroom, comfy bed, sheets and duvet and blackout curtain. We appreciated the bathroom night light. I was late to breakfast, but the cereal was still out and a worker brought me some milk so I could still have some of the included breakfast. A slightly later check out was also no problem to add at no cost and we enjoyed no parking fees, which a lot of hotels are implementing. It’s a family affair and they clearly work hard at running this hotel. Cons: Immediately as you enter the hotel I was hit with a strong smell of mothballs. Walking down the corridor I could smell pot coming from a room and inside our own room was another very strong and distracting odor. This is unfortunate as it lets the hotel down and negates an otherwise cost-effective and pleasant stay. My recommendations for improvements: * Install HEPA Filters or improve ventilation to reduce the odors. * Refresh paint in the bedrooms. * Perhaps bleach or replace bed linens. * Consider replacing the worn carpeting on the staircase with wood or wood laminate.

We called ahead of time to see what the hot breakfast consisted of and were told there would be biscuits and gravy, along with other items. When we checked in, we were again told the same thing. The ceiling was falling down above the bed. The shower curtain was not big enough and the shower rod was broke, which caused the curtain to slide down. The hall way and the stairs were not vacuumed the 4 days I was there. The breakfast was the same every day, the bread was stale and the hard boiled eggs were rotten and not refrigerated.

The beds are deceptively comfy - I didn't expect to fall asleep as I wasn't tired, just cold. The continental breakfast had an excellent spread of choices - including my favorite, biscuits and gravy. We had to ask one of the staff to open the door to the pool so we could get a swim in before we left and the pool was cold (no one's fault lol), but our overall experience was excellent. Would stay again.

Outdated room, Poorly cleaned (I had to change the sheets immediately and I also requested new towels), they also ran out of food for breakfast (It was only 8:30am). Definitely wasn't worth the $80 a night.

Room smelled damp, staff was ok. The breakfast was not edible as none of the appliances offered to cook the waffles or toast were working properly. There was black things floating in the juice and most of the food that was "prepared hot" was cold. I do not think this hotel is worth the price I paid for it. This was motel quality, AT BEST.
