Sleep Inn & Suites Metairie - New Orleans West

Needs to be remodeled badly!! The bathroom looks like it’s still the same one they’ve had since the hotel was built. Just look at the pictures… also when I checked in I wasn’t asked for my ID or anything. I told them I had a reservation and gave my name and they gave me my key. I got up to my room with no problem and was ok with the room but liked in the bathroom and was just disgusted. Also the fridge didn’t work so no use in bringing back left overs. Just stayed one night and would never book again.

The hotel needs some tlc which it appears to be getting. It is an older property but they are renovating rooms on the go. It is in a very convenient location to east Jefferson hospital. The breakfast was set up as expected and well maintained. Loved the 24 hour coffee service in the lobby. The staff was very polite and helpful. Microwave and fridge in room was helpful we stayed 7 days. Quiet location and felt safe

Good property for the money. Just needed a convenient place near east Jefferson hospital to stay overnight. Not a new facility but not a bad place. Felt safe. Looked like they were doing some upgrades. Breakfast was typical hot scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, waffles, instant oatmeal, grits, danish, cereal, etc. wife and I will stay again in june

When checking in, no one was at the desk but I could hear several employees laughing and talking. After a few minutes, I said “Hello” twice and someone came out. There was no greeting. Just a “Need to check in?” Gave me my room key and nothing else was said. Very untypical from what I usually receive from front desk employees when I am out of town. The only front desk employee that spoke and was courteous was the woman working when I checked out.
