The staff service was best part of stay. They accommodated our requests and provided for our needs. Negatives: There is a club across the street that was open until 2:00 am, the music was so loud it rattled our windows all night and into the morning. Hard to sleep. Hotel was under renovation. So no breakfast provided. Would not stay here again.

Love this hotel, but I just wished I knew about the renovations going on. This was a moderate inconvenience because the elevators were reduced from 3 to 1 without options for stairs unless there was an emergency. Great hotel and I cant wait to come back post renovations.

I booked hotel for pool and hot tub. Mainly the hot tub and it was not working. Maintenance claimed they were working on it and it would be repaired next week. Pool area furniture looked worn and uninviting. Very disappointed / I believe I will now call the hotels I book and verify the claim that they have a hot tub available.

I have stayed at this property in the past. It was disappointing to find the whole lobby dismantled and dusty and noisy due to renovations. I had booked this hotel b/c it offered food for breakfast but that was not available and it was not shown on the Expedia website that it was under construction. I prefer the location for the distance from the busy areas like the French quarter and the closeness to upscale evening dining experiences like Emeril’s and Mulate’s. They only clean your room once every 3 days unless you ask for more. We had to ask for more towels because they often did not dry due to the humidity.

The hotel was under construction and we were not notified prior to checking in. The restaurant and bar were closed. There was no breakfast offered or coffee. The air conditioner in the room was not working. Because of the construction they lost electricity in the entire hotel on the day we were checking out so we had to carry our luggage down five flights of stairs to check out.

I was not very impressed with the cleanliness of the pool area and the actual pool, I spent a lot of time cleaning the pool prior to use, we had asked the property to shock the pool and this never happened, pictures posted on Expedia did not reflect what the pool area looked like at all, wasn’t worth the money considering I had booked this hotel based off the representation of the pool that was provided. Front staff was friendly

Here’s a quick review. Hotel charges 40 dollars for parking and the valet attendants were rude. The room was clean and quiet. The gym was absolutely disgusting. There were large flies everywhere. Pool lighting was pretty but was extremely dirty. Guests personal items were left everywhere. Area around is awesome for bar hopping. Very touristy though. Wouldn’t stay here again but it may work for someone else

Upon check in, told the front desk employee that I had 2 separate reservations. One was prepaid through my company. Employee asked my name & proceeded to tell me my reservation had been cancelled instead of asking for the confirmation number from my company. Long story short, I wasn’t at the correct property to begin with. Instead of the clerk saying ma’am we have no reservations with that company so I could’ve figured out my error, she instead allowed me to move forward with expensing a room on my personal card. $680 for me to check in a room that was outdated, dirty, & had roaches. Initially I was only offered 5000 points & moved to a different room. It took the front desk manager to comp the first nights stay but refused to comp the second night after being told about her employees error. I wouldn’t recommend nor stay at this property ever again.

I booked two rooms and both had similar issues. The room was not properly cleaned. The shower curtain in the bathroom was dirty, we didn’t get our room cleaned the entire 4 day stay. We asked for clean towels the house keeper said yes she would get us some fresh towels, when we got back the dirty towels was still in the room. The hotel is undergoing construction so the lobby is not user friendly and all the chairs are bundled together. The blinds in the room need to me cleaned, there were stains on the chair and the floor in the room. One of the beds in the room had makeup stains called for assistance and I was told I needed to take the sheet of the bed and go downstairs to collect clean sheets. I don’t think the staff that works there care.

A charming relic of outdated décor, complete with five mismatched carpets on the fourth floor, elegantly held together by duct tape. We still paid a bargain of $700 CAD (taxes in) for this Mardi Gras masterpiece. This is good value-for-money accommodation in the heart of the Warehouse Arts district. Just don't stay there on a Friday or Saturday night. There is a nightclub across the street called Republic NOLA that offers live music most Fridays and Saturdays. The volume of the music is so loud that even though they are across the street, your room still vibrates from about 8 pm until almost 1 am. Ear plugs don't really help because it's typically a booming bass. In-room sound measurements were 45-55 dB. Hotel staff are aware of this issue but seem reticent to do anything about it. Even though there are noise bylaws in the city, they seem to have little impact. Maybe a lawsuit from Marriott's corporate lawyers would do the trick? Perhaps if you request a room furthest from S. Peters Street the noise isn't so bad.

However, this area was surprisingly very loud on the street below. I was on the second floor and my noise-cancelling ear buds could not cancel the club music and motorcycles blaring below.

Being a Marriott Member, I was surprised there was no breakfast; something I was use to having when staying at Marriott Hotels. We called for rash to be taken out and towels to be replaced and it never happened. There were tied-up trash bags outside of several doors throughout the day and night.

Checking in took awhile. It appeared some people were allowed to cut in line. I received an email to check in but I couldnt because the hotel didnt accept the Expedia confirmation number. While standing in line another lady said her room was dirty and the balcony chair was dirty. She said she wasnt coming back. It took the card reader at least three times to work. I put the card in the machine. It was approved/signed then told to do it again. Maybe it was bad timing for checking in, idk. It wasnt pleasant.

The staff at the front desk was so helpful, provided restaurant recommendations, calling a cab for me, letting us know about Riverwalk dining and shopping that is only two blocks away. This is a five minute walk to the convention center, beautiful and more quiet area of the city. Lots of art studios around, And less crowded restaurants!

The location is just outside all the hustle and bustle of the heart of NOLA, but close enough to walk to the action. It's in the Warehouse District. 10 min to the WWII museum, 15 min to Bourbon St. , etc. The hotel is really nice and has original warehouse brick throughout. The valet is the nicest guy. Hotel staff is nice. Overall, a very good stay.

Stayed 3 nights with a family of 4, including 2 teens. Unfortunately, the pool and whirlpool were being serviced, which was one of the reasons we booked there. The front desk staff was very helpful making recommendations on where to go for food and small needs. The cafe staff closed early for breakfast but the chef prepared food for my daughter anyways. Above and beyond! Room was clean and comfortable.

Absolutely disappointing. Was not aware that the kitchen was closed for renovation when the reservation was made they couldn’t even be bothered to provide coffee in the lobby in the mornings, or keep up with ice water in the lobby as well. The bathroom vanity light went out after the first day, housekeeping, maintenance never did fix it before I checked out.

Great location - very nice clean quiet hotel. The bar and restaurant was closed for renovation during my stay but they provided a very comprehensive list of nearby restaurants and bars, and a pizza delivery menu. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was excellent. No bar or dining @ the property. Had to go to other hotels to eat, drink or get coffee. Valet was excellent and staff @ ck in were awesome. Not used to a Marriott not passing out bottle water to guests @ ck in. The "mini"fridge in lobby had no wine to select from.

The hotel was clean, staff was courteous, the check-in process was exceptionally efficient, and the location was perfect. I was a bit confused at first though because I thought there was an operational restaurant within the hotel, but instead, you order from an app that includes several dining options to have it delivered to your door. I wish I had known that upfront when I booked the reservation. Overall, I had a great time and had zero issues throughout my stay.
