The outdoor pool was closed, the breakfast was overcooked, the rooms and hallways smelled like they needed a good deep clean, it looked like the bathroom was remodeled by someone that had never done construction, and the walls were paper thin. We could hear everything from the room next door.

Room was clean but very dated with rust on the ceiling in the bathroom and the shower looked like a patchwork of fixes. The light over the vanity did not work at first but then came on about 3 am the second night. Breakfast service was mediocre at best and non existing at worst. There is no way this place should get a 3 star rating, one star would be more appropriate.

The staff were great! The room was huge (deluxe king with jetted tub). I loved that the room did not have carpet! However the shower was a weird to set at a warm temperature as opposed to all hot or all cold. Other than that, it was great! There was a game room in the building with vending. Third party booking screwed me over again, but the staff were willing and able to fix it with no issues! Overall I had a great time and would definitely return and recommend!

Upon arrival on a hot mid-August evening, the first thing I noticed was the outdoor swimming pool, which was reminiscent of the DC reflecting pool debacle. There for a one-night stay for a business conference, I had no intention of swimming, but I can only imagine the utter disappointment of a child arriving for their vacation being allowed no where near it. The only redeeming quality was the front desk attendant. She was kind, attentive, and even helped to carry my bags to the second floor since there was no elevator. By the way, there is no elevator. The stairs, coincidentally, were filthy. Upon entering my room, my nostrils were assaulted by the overwhelming stench of chlorine. Was someone attempting to clean up a crime scene before my arrival?! The smell was so aggressive that upon my return home I found that my clothes still wreaked of it. What struck me as extremely odd was the junkstaposition of amenities in the room: carpet and tile that appeared to be brand new and very clean, a modernized tap-card door lock, a large fridge and microwave... vs. a shower and sink that had clearly not been updated for 50+ years (plus pipes that literally yelled at you when you turned the shower on) and a television so old that streaming hadn't even been invented yet (confusing to operate and speed working entirely). The reality is, you get what you pay for. But if you're sensitive to smells, sounds, or boredom, you may want to find something else.
