The hotel is going through some renovations. It was busy and noisy when I arrived. I would not have booked that hotel had I known however, in the evening it was quiet due to the renovation. There was limited areas to sit in during breakfast. Also, we were told that the pool was out of service because of the renovations. And a hotel next-door was available for our use.

We loved the hot tub and swimming pool. The fire feature with outdoor seeting is very nice in the evenings to unwind. That was very nice. They offered a very good breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located near a lot of shops and places to eat. Will stay there again on our way to Nashville.

Great hotel in a great location! Loved the pool, hot tub, and outdoor patio with fireplace. Easy access to downtown Asheville, the WNC Nature Center, and the Biltmore. Grubhub delivers. Comfy beds, good breakfast, wonderful staff!

Nice hotel for overnight stay, continuing on to Charlotte. Standard hotel breakfast. Choose this hotel to be able to charge the ev car overnight, did not disappoint.

My only real complaint is the hot tub and pool were both closed due to construction/remodeling, that should have been disclosed when I made the reservations on-line! Overall stay was above average.

It was a great property but when I went for the shampoo from the fancy dispenser, it was empty. Nothing like getting into the shower after getting the proper temp and then finding no shampoo or conditioner

The room was very dirty with hair on bathroom floor and toilet. Toenails on chair. Second room after moving was same minus not hair on toilet. Yes, still toenails. The property was under construction but was not notified. The price was still very high. The staff seemed annoyed with moving my room and not even apologetic for the inconvenience.

The Hampton Inn was very clean and well decorated w/ a "contemporary " look and fresh looking walls, fixtures, carpet and bedding. Very comfortable bed! Nice room darkening features. Although we were on the first floor, it was quiet the first night of our stay. However, the second night we were abruptly woken up by the guests next door to us "slamming" doors shut, laughing and talking loudly. After about 15 minutes I called the front desk and someone did come and ask them to lower their voices. There just didn't seem to be much buffering between rooms and that was disappointing. Decent breakfast, and friendly staff. Nice outdoor fire pit good for evening relaxation.

My sister, niece, and I stayed here to have some special family time. We had a great time! The pool and the hot tub were both really clean. The beds could be a tiny bit more comfortable but overall we had a great experience. The hotel is clean and the staff is really accommodating and friendly.

The rooms themselves were nice and clean. I understand the remodeling inconveniences but you can hear noise from neighboring rooms. If you are in the bathroom, you can hear the neighbors conversations, whether you want to or not. Definitely need better sound proofing. This is a big deal hotel choices.

When checking in I was notified due to interior renovations and construction on exterior that I may experience “some noise during 9am-6pm”, when I got to my room and for the duration of my stay there was so much noise that I was not even able to have a conversation with the other person in my room. The noise was constant and consisted of drilling, hammering, sawing. Spoke to management (named “Buddy”) about any options like moving rooms they told me that there was nothing they could do and would not change my room and that if I wanted to check out early and find another accommodation I should do that. No apology was given. I then got off the phone with “Buddy” feeling very frustrated that I spent this much money on a hotel that was doing room renovations on the same floor they were renting rooms out. “buddy” then called back to the room and said they could give me “some” of my money back but still would not change our room. The noise was so awful it gave myself and my guest a headache each day and I now have absolutely NO intention on ever staying at a Hampton Inn again due to the lack of customer service and horrible accommodations.

Staff were helpful enough, however, our room was on the ground floor and right next to the alternate exit. It was extremely noisy from other patrons and the rooms are not sound isolated enough. The noise from the people above was so loud we couldn’t sleep and the mattress was sub par. I would not stay here again. The gym was below average and the smell from patrons smoking marijuana outside permeated our room. We cut our stay short as a result of the issues listed and the hotel did not offer any compensation. Luckily Expedia gave us a credit.

Unfortunately we were not aware that we couldn’t stay here because we live within 50 miles. Nowhere in the booking information was this stated. The young man at the desk was pleasant and apologized but we were turned away and ended up driving back home. We are senior citizens who don’t like to drive at night. That is why we like to stay in Asheville when we are going to a play or performance that ends after dark.

What a great place! The staff were all very friendly and professional. They acknowledged everyone just as we walked past the front desk. The property and rooms were clean. In the morning the breakfast was warm and tasty! I will go back on my next visit to Asheville! It seems silly but the only thing I'd add to their 24 hour coffee bar (thank you) would be other flavored creamers. Not every one likes French Vanilla. 😀

The hotel is nice. No complain about the hotel. However, getting on the road is bit challenging. You can't take left turn to Tunnel road from the hotel, wherein most businesses are in the left side. You have to take right turn and detour a lot to go to left.

Convenience to shopping and restaurants the hotel was nice, clean, up to date ... Very large homeless population on this road if that is a concern for you. Wouldn't recommend walking anywhere but driving was fine.

The lobby and eating area was under construction!! Wish we had been told we would walk through thick construction dust everywhere. (Hard to breathe) The Continental breakfast was very low/poor quality- probably because of all the construction & equipment.

Breakfast was disappointing. I have a gluten sensitivity, and all of the cereals offered contained gluten. There was no gluten free bread options. there was instant grits, but the water was not hot enough to actually cook the grits so they were raw. I I know at a place like this it's going to be slim pickings, but usually I can at least have some cereal. I will say the staff was very nice and pleasant to interact with. The room was clean and we primarily chose this hotel for its location convenience.

I was disappointed with the breakfasts. The food choices were not diabetic friendly. Also, the layout was awkward because in order to get the plates and silverware you had to bend down under the counter in the same place that people were standing to get their food. Also the toilet paper and Kleenex type tissues were what you would find in a gas station. Thin, scratchy and not absorbent. I felt they were cutting every corner possible to save a few bucks without thinking about the comfort of the guest.
