The facility was fine. Hard beds and bad pillows made for an uncomfortable night and the price was really high-$199 on a Thursday. The kicker was that there was a $75 pet fee when we arrived so we paid $275 for a terrible night of sleep.

Hampton Inn in Mt Airy is great - very clean and welcoming. The hotel staff is pleasant and accommodating. The room is spacious and the bed and pillows were just perfect, like they are brand new and very comfortable. The TV is big and wonderful. The bathroom is spacious and clean, lots of towels and amenities. The shower is spacious even for a tall person. The shower’s water pressure is just perfect. Even the toilet’s water pressure is great and flushes quickly. The lobby is great -lots of tables and seating. The hotel’s Breakfast is wonderful with variety of fresh food and drinks. They have a nice indoor pool too. Overall, a fantastic and wonderful time. Highly recommended this hotel.

This was a good option for a one night stay in a pet friendly property while on our way to our destination. Breakfast was good, and it was very nice that is lasted until 10am. Coffee and hot tea option throughout the day was an added bonus.

Charged $75 for our pet even though that was not mentioned ANYWHERE on the hotels.com app. I even took screenshots of our reservation and the parts of the page that mentioned all of the fees charged by the hotel. Hotel is in desperate need of a deep clean. Staff was friendly.

Love this hotel! Location is great - in Mt. Airy with lots of food choices and neat stores. Beds were super comfortable and room was so clean. Best pet room we have ever had - well worth the 75.00 fee. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel looks run down on the inside. It was rated a 9.4, but to me it was more like an 8 or 7.5. The carpet in hallways was terribly stained and needs shampooed. The rooms were very dusty. There was wall paper peeling off the walls by the elevator.

Yes! Yes! Rugs in the hallways and in the lobby area were dirty! The concrete in the front was dirty! It needs power washed’ The room were super clean! Very nicely furnished!

This Hampton Inn was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were so impressed that we had lunch delivered to the cleaning and hotel staff there. FANTASTIC!

We arrived early, and was hoping to be able to check in, but if we couldn't, it was not a problem. They did have a room ready, and we took it. The front desk staff was always friendly during the entire stay. Room was very clean, and breakfast was very good.!

Wh had a queen beds suite and it is very spacious. The furniture was nice with a soft and a love seat. The beds very comfortable, neither 2 soft nor 2 hard. The bath/commode was separate from the wash basin area and this was nice for two people too. be able to use both simultaneously. The location was ok if you like to be in the middle of many, many fast food restaurants without a safe way to cross the street to other side where more fast food restaurants await. But th it is only about 1-2 miles to downtown. The breakfast, however, was awful. The food was the worst we have ever experienced at a Hampton's. The breakfast meat was basically a hot dog cut up, and hard boiled eggs and a fake omelet. For a lactose intolerant person, the omelet was out, as was the waffles and oatmeal. The coffee was fare.

Staff was friendly. Room was a good size and clean. Bathroom was bright and had plenty of towels and storage. Bed and chair were comfy. Breakfast was adequate and sufficient. The area surrounding the hotel had lots of stores and restaurants. Some within walking distance. Parking lot was large. My only complaint was the drapes wouldn't close and the light from the parking lot shined right in my eyes since the bed faced the window. (I was able to "MacGyver" the curtains closed with some clips. No drapes were damaged.) Wished I could've arrived sooner in the day to see the Andy Griffith things being Mt. Airy was his hometown. Only stayed one night while traveling from Florida to Buffalo, NY. I will definitely be back and would certainly stay again!

I needed a handicap accessible room and it was what I needed. I paid a huge price for it and I received a king size bed. There were my husband, myself and our 15 year old grandson. The room I made reserved for was with a sofa bed which I did not receive. Had to get an extra bed that was very uncomfortable for our grandson to sleep on.

The hotel was very nice! It was situated in the middle of everything in the town. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds, a large flat screen tv, coffee maker, mini fridge, and of course, a bathroom and closet. The hotel offered a free breakfast and a pool to. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Short story: that first morning we were there, the car would not crank due to an old battery and 20 degree temperatures. A gentleman at the hotel; I think his name was Tim; ran into us outside and saw that we were having trouble. He stayed and offered a helping hand. He tried his own personal jump box to no avail. Then he got his own vehicle and got the car boosted off so we could get it to the auto store across the street. So a very big Thank You to him!! There are still people out there that are willing to help you in anyway. All in all; if I had to choose a place to stay, I'd definitely be going back to The Hampton Inn of Mount Airy!

Arrived at 1am tired and ready to go to bed and found front door locked and no one at the front desk to let us in. Eventually someone showed up but this was extremely frustrating. I tried calling the office as well as the manager and there was no answer. Tried the messaging service on the app, no luck there either. I’ll likely consider other accommodations next go around. This is one of the more expensive options that was listed online. I went with it to assure that there would be no issues because we were pressed for time. Standing at the front door on the phone, online, messaging, and ringing the doorbell that was blocked by luggage carts was not what I had in mind.

I understand that we lose a nights stay as a deposit but it looks like both you and the property think we stayed there when we did not. The staff didnt check a persons ID then gave them the room i had booked then couldnt accomidate me with a same room with enough room for my dog so we could all get around easily and comfortably.

The front desk check in person was unfriendly. It was like we were bothering her. She didn't tell us about the amenities like the breakfast or the check out time. Room was ok, but a little pricey for the rudeness that you get from the staff.

Great location and close to plenty of restaurants. It's a great stop over for a quiet,safe nights sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful both In person and on the phone. I needed some special changes upon checkin and a staff member Brooklyn was very helpful and accomondating with my request.
