Courtyard Parsippany

The staff was super friendly and hopefully. The room was really nice. The only downfall was the indoor heated pool was really cold and the whirlpool was broken.

Very clean, UV light showed NOTHING. Maid service is by appointment only, which was a big plus for me because I do not to be disturbed and I was there for about 19 days. The TV was not getting a signal when I first came in but when I mentioned it they fixed it in about ten minutes. Security is good, all rooms are interior access and the entrances to the building are all card secured. Gym is small but well done, same goes for pool. The lobby is well appointed and includes a computer center, a tiny convenience store with microwave and a Starbucks. My only complaint, really, is that the the entrance ramp to the property is easy to miss, and given it's location on Route 46, it will be another five minutes to turn around and get back to it. Recommended, I will be back next year.

Hotel was clean. Staff friendly. Parking area good. Only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the elevator. A lot of noise and jolts and hard stops. Something that should be looked at.

Very nice property. Clean and quiet. Exercise room had treadmill for my wife and staitonary bike for me.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the parking was plentiful. The room and property left much to be desired. From rust stains to lamp shades falling apart, I felt the room could have been kept in better conditon. We specifically booked this hotel for their "spa" tub which ended up being under maintainence the entire time.

The property is conveniently located in the midst of many communities so it is very easy to get from one town to another. The facilities are fine, the pool is extremely small and the vanity area of the room was irritatingly small with no storage space at all, even on the counter top. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Of special note was the evening bartender (Carlo) who was very friendly, fun, and full on energy.

Little pool no spa

No complementary breakfast pool was really small and packed with guests elevator very slow it’s seen better days. Rooms were crammed with no safe for valuables.

Staff was kind and professional. Nice parking and clean areas. Plus, it's Christmas and they were on top of their game. Thanks Courtyard.

Loved our stay. Our only complaint was about the pool.. we were told it closed at a certain time. When we went to go swim within the timeframe, it was locked. Went to ask about it, the guy just shrugged his shoulders and was like I don’t know what to tell you.. we then went in the morning, had a slight issue, got it fixed and was able to swim.. the ladies who helped us and who checked us in and out were awesome.

I was a little worried about booking here because the reviews were all hit or miss but I went ahead because it was just a one night stay. The customer service was outstanding. The women at check in were so kind and enthusiastic. The lobby and room were very clean. A lot of reviews mentioned it being outdated but I disagree. The bathroom seemed a little older but it was clean, the water pressure and temperature were good.

We checked in late and the room was pretty dirty upon arrival. But it was late so didn’t want to complain after midnight. Overall good customer service at the front desk and decent location the cleaners can use a little help.

Property was smelly, had musty damp smell. Paint was chipping, aged property. One elevator was not working, phone in the room did not work. When we checked in we wanted to take shower, no bodywash, just two shampoo and conditioner, had to find housekeeping first thing after checking in. There is no microwave in the room. We were there for a wedding and a big party. There were insects and ants in the room. I brought to the attention of Kenneth(Ken) at front desk.He was quite rude. His response was we can change can change your room or engineering check it. I was going into wedding, I was not going to miss the event I was there for. Ken also said there won’t be any compensation, I clearly told him this is for safety and health of my family, I am not looking to get compensation for this. I told him I was disappointed, he said he can’t do anything. No apology nothing. Breakfast in the bistro has nothing special except you can get good coffee. Staff at the bistro especially Jackie and JC were very nice. I have stayed in lot of Courtyards and had certain expectation in mind. This place does not meet even 20%. My experience with front desk felt like he was doing a favor by letting me stay over there. I would never stay at this place.

Needs focus on cleanliness. Ac/heat cycled back and forth which made for cold evening trying to sleep. Checked out next day and drove home at midnight versus staying there

The one and only outside, nearby restaurant 1 block away did not have a sidewalk to walk on. We had to walk along the edge of the street or take a Uber for 11-15 dollars! Food costs inside the hotel were way over priced for the prepackaged food you received. I was disappointed they did not offer a free continental breakfast with he stay. Our first room was noisy (water pipes) and toilet was plugged. So they kindly moved us to a different room which was very quiet and clean.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed here and we will be back for sure. We were greeted by Soroya at the front desk and she set the tone for the whole stay. Fabulous! She was very friendly and took genuine interest in what brought us to the area, which was the NY Ren Faire in Tuxedo Park NY. She even checked in with us when we came back the next night after the faire to see how we liked it. The room was wonderful. Spacious, comfortable, well lit, clean... you name it! Sunday night when we came back after the faire we decided to order some hamburgers to go from the in house bistro in lieu of going to a restaurant off site. Well, we just found the best way to travel. Being able to eat a delicious meal in private after a hectic day was wonderful.

It was very surprising when we came to know that the rooms do not include a safe. But the very surprising news were that our phone was broken and even the floor phoneline where all rooms guests can access and use was not working either. So couldnt but rate the service poor as we couldnt even request it or get it. However, on the good side the room design and condition were very good, comfortable & clean.

A/C unit is so lound.. no water pressure from shower, i can't even wash my hair, full body mirror is so narrow on closet door doesn't even stay open...... overall place need a update, there is no customer service!!!! inquire a charge and manager can''t even tell me why that he has to look in to it, never got a respond!!!! front desk lady has ababsolutely no professionalism.........

I would have rated this hotel higher but for 2 things: 1) I found the bed too hard (although my husband was fine with it) and mostly 2) the young man in charge of the breakfast room was shamefully overworked. He had to take orders, run the register, make the coffee, and cook the breakfasts ALL BY HIMSELF. He was VERY good at making breakfast, but he should not have had to do everything without any help. I felt bad for him--he was clearly doing the best he could, and the food was very good, but watching him do everything without any assistance took the pleasure out of an otherwise very nice breakfast.

My stay was very comfortable and the service was quite good. The location is convenient and I thought the hotel was a good value. I would stay again.

I like the location quite and staff were very helpful and the room was cleaned.The front desk was very accommodating they let me checked in early , I was able to relax in the room after a very exhausting work week in Manhattan.

It actually had a Courtyard! And it was comfortable plus convenient yet quiet despite being on a major road.

It was located near my destination

Super location near highways. Clean and visually appealing. Staff is friendly. Wifi in the room was unreliable, cutting out midstream major project after having trouble getting into wifi. Was offered having someone help in my room or in the lobby if I brought laptop down. I was stressed with work deadlines before work meetings so was unable to accept either offer and completed the computer project at the meeting location (elsewhere). The only disappointment.

Clean, safe, and convenient location for business or personal travel stays.

I would have rated this hotel higher but for 2 things: 1) I found the bed too hard (although my husband was fine with it) and mostly 2) the young man in charge of the breakfast room was shamefully overworked. Was comfortable. Most hotels in this price range offer breakfast included in the price, even iff it’s a continental style breakfast. Here, coffee was offered free but pay for anything else such as Starbuck coffee, OJ, bagels, scones, etc. Though stay was comfortable, I would stay elsewhere that offers same comfort but included breakfast. Again, no complaints about the property, but was not better than others in same price range with more amenities.

Nice place. Nice rooms, clean updated and comfortable. The in room coffee maker didn’t seem to work and you have to pay for coffee in the lobby which seems unusual.

Great morning coffee

The only bad thing was that the refrigerator in the room didn’t work. When we finally had a chance to tell someone, they replaced it. Also, it was slow getting service for breakfast.

Overall a good stay. Did book this including breakfast which we were denied as this was not showing in the hotel reservation. Not sure if this was to blame the hotel or Hotels.com but we had to find breakfast elsewhere as the offers in the restaurant did not our requirements.
