Americas Best Value Inn Heath-Newark

Got to the room and the room was dirty. Food was left in the mini fridge, floors were dirty, socks were brown after walking across it. Behind the sink bowl was dirty. Paint was peeling off the wall behind the bed. I get we didn’t pay a lot for the room but the basics weren’t even done. They did have the cleaning guy come in and scrub the mini fridge but he smelled like weed. This is a place that people actually live in just so you are aware before you book.

Floors in my room were filthy. Clearly not even broom swept, and certainly not mopped. Sheets were definitely not changed from last guest. A *lot* of hair, and sheets wrinkled. Bathroom faucet in need of repair. Kitchen and bath were clean. Front desk folks were very nice and muffins were ok. Huge potholes out front nearly wrecked my car.

Parking lot had a lot of pot holes, holes in the walls from light fixture being replaced, laminate flooring separating in several spots, pillows were completely worn out, mattress was like sleeping on a park bench

Wasn’t my best idea….

Awesome deal for the price.
