Called the day before and told they had electricity. Got there and... NO ELECTRICITY

I had to leave not even 20 minutes after checking in, there were roaches crawling everywhere, nothing looked clean. The only good part about that place was there was a security guard!

This was the WORST extended stay hotel I've ever stayed at! The property looked nothing like the photos online and the area was very bad and felt unsafe. There were a lot a vagrants around the area and people soliciting in the parking lot. When I opened the door to my room, the intense mold smell almost choked me. Even the driver that dropped me off and helped me unload could smell the mold. The entire hotel had a terrible roach infestation! I killed over 30 roaches within the first few hours I was there. Since I paid in advance for my week stay, I had no choice but to stay there because my booking was non-refundable. The hotel refused any compensation. I had to keep using roach powder and spray, which impacted my health in addition to the intense mold infestation. I couldn't run the A/C unit because that's where most of the mold was located, so I also had to suffer in the heat every day. I have asthma and other chronic health conditions, and even after explaining this to the hotel staff, I was told they were sold out of rooms and there was nothing they could do. The microwave didn't work, there were plumbing issues daily, the shower head leaked black residue so I had to purchase a detachable shower head. There was also a heavy mold smell in the bathroom when I would turn on the fan. Roach and mold infestation with terrible customer service. There elevator didn't work either and they don't have luggage dollies. DON'T BOOK!

I never went in as they had no power. We were not apprised until we got there.

I am in Houston and we had the storm and I booked the room. When I arrived the hotel did not have power. I was charged for not staying there and they have a no refund policy. So thanks for nothing. I will be disputing this with my bank.

My brother was hospitalized so I came into town and stayed here in between visits to see him. Positives: Good TV, microwave, my room as quiet and fairly comfortable. Negatives: the thing that annoyed me most was that there was no cup(s) for brushing teeth, taking meds, etc. Are they really that expensive? Also, bugs in kitchen and bathroom. I did inform them on Christmas Day and the next evening they had clearly sprayed as I saw no more live ones and a few dead ones. Also, someone or their animal pooped in the lone elevator on Christmas Day or night, there was also liquid which may have been liquid and the next day someone vomited just outside the elevator on the higher floors. But hotels can't pick their tenants. Thermostat was way off and 74 felt more like 84 but it beats being cold. I just turned it down to the 60s and that helped. Might stay here again but would look around for alternatives first.

My car stolen! Infestation of cockroaches. On your nightstsnd, kitchen, on your bed right by you and Inreresting crowd. Broken glass no matter which parking space you choose. No cleaning. She had 'many rooms' to clean. Slow computer, could not find my res. Leaking sink, missing bulbs.

This was the most terrifying experience in my life. The office closes at eleven. I called ahead to tell them I wouldn't be arriving until one am. They said that was fine. I get there, cops are leaving. Cars are driving fast through the parking lot. I ring the bell, nothing. Cops went diving by again. Go to the house phone, it's missing. Called Hotels.com and they called motel. They had to call twice. Security walked me to my room and while we were on the way there two guys were dealing drugs. They dropped them on accident and used profanity. The AC wasn't working, the phone didn't work. I called Hotels.com again. The security guard came and moved me to another room. The room was discusting and smelled and I barricaded the door with my table and chairs.

Its a terrible place, there was no power, no ac, no wifi as advertised, this place its a fraud.

We didn’t even end up staying because of the conditions. There was roaches and bed bugs all over the place. I wanted to know how I can start the process to get my money back.

SEVERELY INFESTED with roaches DO NOT stay here under any circumstances Did not look at Google map reviews and regretted it. Checked out and requested a refund within 5 minutes after checking in.

They have roaches its the worst hotel and it was a nightmare roaches even on the bed i couldnt get a refund feom the hotel or hotel.com I ended up sleeping in the rental car because there was even a roach crawling in the bed. This hotel needs to be shut down!

This property looks nothing like the description on your website. This property was dilapidated and disgusting. I checked in and it looked really shabby in the outside. Went to our room. Opened the door the wooden floors were muddy and very dirty. There were roaches everywhere, all over the floors and all over the walls. There was a huge hole in the wall and they tried to cover it with a nightstand. Roaches were literally pooping out of the hole. Went back to the office and made them aware they said nothing. They offered me another room. Ong…that room was worse than the first one. Homeless people were everywhere , they were laying on the ground everywhere and begging for money and fighting! Then the gunshots rang out. I was terrified and the office could careless. They seemed to be accustomed to this. I literally had to go to Walmart and purchased some raid. Was up all night couldn’t sleep due to all of the shooting and fighting and all of those DAMN roaches !! The property was completely rundown and overrun with prostitution. Run don’t stay here !!! Expedia shame on you! For not helping me even though you were aware that I was in danger and could careless about my safety!!! I’ve utilized your services for over 10 years and you let me down! Not anymore I’m done never wii I utilize your services!!

Rooms smell like piss and animal crap

Disappointment is an understatement. The exterior was horrible. Dirty, tenants smoking weed. Room was unclean, saw roaches, and cable wasn’t working properly.

My whole 7 days was interrupted by kids playing outside customers talking loud and loud music

The property was kinda old smelled bad in the room the mattress was rock hard and they had no TV in the room

There was mold in the bathroom, I stayed there for a week and I came up with allergies. My throat clears up as soon as I walk out my apartment room. Nice staff, they offered me a bunch of extra stuff for the apartment but bad mold in the bathroom. The AC is located be side the bed which make the temperature sleeping feel unstable or inconsistent. So I found myself tossing and turning in the middle of the night trying to cool down my other half. Despite the downside of the motel, it was worth the price.

Check in was fast and easy Beds comfortable and tv had alot of channels Bathtoom was clean hot hot water Got some much needed rest.

Bed not exactly comfortable has some miles on it. It was a good place for the location I needed, and since was there fore work alone was OK. I would never go with spouse or family

Services was bad, no trash can, no set a towels for my wife, door nob mess up, no night stand , AC unit really nosy

Middle of the night the room was flooded One of the next rooms had water link I called at 4PM they said there nothing they could do I called again, they said we can change you room but you have to pay extra money

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and polite but I did not like that the place was dirty

The staff at hometown studios at 5959 guhn Rd. are especially skilled in bamboozling and overcharging customers who are misinformed on rates and policies. They use people's backgrounds and lack of knowledge to take advantage of them. A veteran can't even get any respect around there. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.

My problem is not with hotel. It’s with hotels.com. Due to hurricane in Houston they listed rooms available. Got there and there were no rooms. Called hotel ahead of time and they never answered phone. Showed up to be told hotel.com over booked. Now I’m trying to get refund. They are stalling.

They lost my reservation and said it bounced to another town. Over $500 lost.

Staff not accommodating rude the worst place to stay ...if u don't believe me come check it out made us wait to check in. Till 3 pm not a minute earlier they have no common sense please if anyone puts a good review they are lying please help this business understand that they are in the hospitality business to accommodate

Everything was awful. The floors were gross and sticky. The room keys didn’t work so we were locked out for a bit. The staff was rude. Would not recommend.

The manager is not there for check in. While I am waiting, a policeman came. It seems that the lady manager was hiding in a small room and they talked. I don’t know the details. The policeman left and the lady checked me in. Before the policeman left, he told me that this place is not safe. I walked to my room and saw a few people sitting on the aisle. It is creepy.

The quietness of it tucked back behind businesses and condominiums. Then close enough to walk to the convent store

The worst hotel experience I've ever had. I was counting the days just to escape this terrible place, every single day there was a car parking in front of my door blasting music and base to the extend that my ears started to hurt, and when I do complain to the staff nothing is being done about it. Secondly, cleaning serivce is once a week meaning you don't get a fresh towels for a week and you gotta make do with two towels. Third, it's a dangerous place to be at, theyre all gangers looking people, chatting loudly at your door and you dare complain to them about it, DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE.

Groups of men hanging around in the parking lot making noise until after midnight, roaches in all areas of the room, stains on the curtains, and a huge hole in the bathroom wall.

The property was very unsafe, there was a car with no tires and jacked up. There was someone who yelled our room number at night for no reason. I had a hard time sleeping at night.
