Red Roof Inn Newport News - Yorktown

Old dirty rooms with broken doors and worn out furniture. Stained sheets. No soap or shampoo. Cheap, plastic towels. Trash strewn everywhere in parking lot. No breakfast, even though it was supposed to be an amenity. Swimming pool was a filthy cesspool. All this with a relatively price. Stay away.

The hotel room was not very clean. The couch in the room had stains on it and I didn’t sit on the couch. Bathroom was dirty and the paint on the walls was horrible.

One gets what one pays for. Property certainly shows its age. Staff members were nice. Coffee available in lobby 24 hrs but is cooking the entire time and taste shows it. No facial tissues even though bathroom vanity had space for a box. Inside security door lock broken. Security cameras were plentiful and added a sense of safety. No smoking on premises was a plus.
