The property is somewhat dated, not very sound proof. The breakfast is very basic, no meat whatsoever. However, when we checked in, the hotel did not know we had our dog with us, They only have three dog-friendly rooms and they were fully booked. The hotel clerk managed to switch rooms around so that we would get a dog-friendly room... so Thank you! Hotels.com needs to make it more clear and specific about the availability of dog-friendly rooms.

I would not have booked at this hotel if I had been aware there was no elevator. I would suggest making that information available, or more prominent on the website. However, the young man on the front desk recognized that I looked exhausted after a long travel day, and he carried my suitcase upstairs for me. That was much appreciated.

The hotel was amazing as they welcomed dogs. With rooms towards the back of the hotel that have separate private doors to the parking, getting our two Siberian huskies in and out of the vehicle and to the room was a breeze.

The room is clean and in good size. The location is right at highway 6 which is very convenient. The breakfast is good. Plenty of parking spots. My room is facing the highway and it is a bit noisy. Some kids were screaming in the hallway in the evening. 2 floor building. No elevator.

While the staff were friendly and helpful, this property does not have proper accessibility for persons with disabilities. There is no automatic door at the entrance, and while we were provided a room for my service animal, my companion needed to take stairs to open our room so that I could access to it from a patio door. I have mobility issues and have to use a cane, and stairs with luggage are not possible. It's not ideal. There was be no way for me to lock the patio door from the outside, and I could not use the staircase, so there's definitely a flaw here that needs to be resolved, particularly if I were traveling alone.

Did not realize there was no elevator or pool or hot tub. Could not use the dining area to sit and play cards at the table or games because it was used for laundry during the evening. Coffee was empty the one morning and then was lukewarm the next morning. Coffee was empty again, but when refilled was cold. Mat at the front door was a tripping hazard. No wheelchair button to hold door open.

Reception staff were very nice. Good location. That was the 'good'. The bad: the room was filthy. Obviously hasn't had a proper thorough cleaning in quite a while. Mold in the shower, the shower curtain was ancient and stained. Dust and mold left my girlfriend ill it was so bad. Debris and 'dust bunnies' under all the furniture. NO bathroom counter at all. Just a small sink. Water pressure at the shower was pathetic. $250 a night was ridiculous! The building needs an enema and the 'cleaning staff' retrained or...

Floors were not vacuumed and the bed coverings were filthy. The chair in the room had stains on it. Black hair in the bathroom sink. Am here for 2 nights, my bed was made in such a sloppy and quick way when I returned to my room. Spending $150 a night here was not worth it. It’s like the cleaning staff really couldn’t care less. Was booked for 5 nights at this hotel, chose to relocate to a different hotel (knowing I prepaid a non refundable rate). The staff did not seem to care about the uncleanliness of their hotel admitting they do not wash the duvet covers regularity….cobwebs, brown drips, spills and toothpaste on walls, smeared wipe marks on microwave, build up of dust, and dirt on carpet along the walls where the vacuum couldn’t reach. The morning breakfast was minimal ( in comparison to the hotel I relocated to). Other more minor inconveniences, sour coffee creamers and a malfunctioning refrigerator (froze everything inside, even at low temp setting). We also had concerns about our vehicle with sketchy people lingering in the parking lot. This hotel should not be comparable in price to the other name brand hotels in OS. The other hotel I relocated to (Comfort Inn) was meticulous, and had an amazing front desk staff!

Not clean at all. Pink mold in shower. Food crumbs on bathroom counter. Wrapper clogging sink drain. Sticky remotes. Overall worn and rundown. Breakfast poor to average. There is a Comfort Inn across the road that allows pets. Would try there next time I'm in Owen Sound. Plus side. Big TV. Staff were nice. Got a pet friendly room. Didn’t see anything about extra fees when I booked. Was charged $20 extra per night per dog.

James at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful - recognizes us every time we check in and provides us with excellent client care. The continental breakfast is superb! Enough variety and always fresh fruit and yogurt available. The rooms are clean and spacious, and reasonably priced. We always make this Travelodge our go-to destination when in the Owen Sound/Bruce Peninsula area.

it included breakfast, but what was worst about the place was I had left a special request for a wheelchair accessible room, but when we arrived the desk clerk said she had no note on the reservation. when I told her I had seen it after submitting it on the computer she just shrugged her shoulders and said it's not here! She was just concerned with payment, and when I showed her my receipt from Expedia all she could say was I need a credit card and ID.

Well the precheck-in was terrible. I couldn't supply a copy of my D/L because I was already on the road, so I clicked SUBMIT, but it obviously didn't get there, because I had requested a 1st floor room, because of my bad knee. Nothing available when we got there. From the minute we got there, til well after 9 or 10 children were running and playing hockey in the hall. Where in the Hell were their parents, and where was the front desk. I called twice and it calmed down briefly, then got noisy again. Second day was better...the damn kids went home. The room was cold, even after I turned the heat on, and breakfast was so so at best. I think this was the third time satying at this hotel, and definitely the worst. I'll have to really think about it, whether or not to stay there again. Also I was asked online about my Travelodge points, but I thought I was collecting them but I didn't get a points card or number. Not a rewarding trip, at least not as far as the accommodations.

I tried to complete an online check in however there was a discrepancy with my reservation/pet friendly vs online check says no pets allowed. Tried to call Travelodge twice, no one answered and no one returned my call.When we checked in, no receptionist, she came maybe after 10mins. Eventually, my dog was allowed for a fee which was understandable and when I asked about the incident with the online checking in/pet, she said, she have no idea.

There was no housekeeping. At all. The people in the next room were fighting and carousing on Saturday night/Sunday morning. We called the front desk but there was no one there. About 5 a.m. the noise stopped. Our heat didn’t work the first day/night. Fortunately it came on the next day. I think it would help your guests by providing instructions for the television. The front desk clerk came to our room to help. I think I won’t stay at a Travelodge again.

The property is very conveniently located on the way to Tobermory which I feel would be really helpful for people visiting. The property was clean and the staff was friendly. Also, there is an iconic waterfall (Inglis falls) just 10 mins drive away from the property, which was a pleasant surprise. All in all, it was a great experience.

Breakfast was very disappointing. On the first day of our stay, we were told that eggs were out of stock at 8 AM. All they had was bread and butter. The eating area is too small, so people had to wait, and there was no staff member supervising to check if anything had run out. There were also not enough towels or toilet tissue in the room; we had to ask every time, which was quite surprising and unacceptable for a hotel. Overall, the breakfast quality was not good at all.
