Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is only 7 minutes walk to the Big Nickel. Parking is just outside of our room, we can see our car from our room window. Breakfast was good. It would be better if they serve egg omelette and sausage too. There were sliced loaf bread, bagel, strawberry jam, cream cheese, butter, coffee and apple. It’s ample filling to the tummy.

Picked this property for the restaurant...and it wasnt open. Area was sketchy, no elevators, 100,000 degree hallways, access to vending machines was scary and i didnt feel safe crossing.

The rooms are cheap and clean. The hotel is beat up but you get what you pay for. There's a very limited free breakfast with bread/muffins, a couple of cereals and coffee and tea ..Apple and Orange juice. The location is very close to the big Nickle and Science North. We would stay here again.Oh there is a Mongolian Grill restaurant onsite too which is excellent but very limited hour's.

The room was fine. The hotel is not in a very nice area - hard to tell when you are booking. There are no elevators. I was on the second floor - I am a pretty fit person with only carryon luggage - but if you have more luggage and are not super fit - it could be a problem. The continental breakfast was good no more no less than I expected but the breakfast room was rather barren. This is a fine hotel and the staff was helpful but I don't think I would stay here again.

This is a much older hotel and some areas show that more than others. You can hear everything, people walking above you, voices in the hallway, not quiet at all. The room was damp, the bed was uncomfortable to sleep in because the sheets felt wet. In the morning I kicked a sock under the bed and when I went to grab it I found candy wrappers and what looked like a blue pill. The room is obviously only superficially cleaned. The continental breakfast was okay. I enjoyed a tea and toast but there were muffins, yogurt, cereal etc.

The room was very clean. Especially loved that there was no carpet. The location is quiet. I heard no outside noises. It was a cool day and night so I did not use the AC. I also did not go down for breakfast so I cannot provide a rating. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

It was awful our first room slept so much like cat pee they did switch us rooms with no issue it was the only good thing the room was gross brown stuff on the walls, dirty stinky if it wasn't 9pm we would have left. And they turned the water off an hr before check out

The room was not cleaned and the bedding was terrible. The bedsheet was soiled and the pillows were smelly. Also, the bed was so squeaky that we couldn’t sleep well the whole night. When complained, the staff didn’t help at all nor provided any help.

The only thing my husband and I liked about our stay was the friendliness of the staff members. The hotel had an odour throughout, so much so that we had to buy an air freshener and some fabric spray. There was what looked like ink stains on the sheets, and our towels had stains as well. Our aur conditioning/heating unit was malfunctioning. We did call front desk to notify them. It felt like a sauna when we walked in. Our window was facing an alley on the one side and we could hear everything around us. The shower faucet almost came out of the wall when i turned the faucet on, etc. The breakfast included was also quite minimal.

Great rooms; super clean and updated. Check in was super fast and awesome customer service. Beds are super comfy. Didn’t eat at the restaurant here but it smelled amazing! Great continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Thank you :)

Upon arriving I was put in Rm 103 there was the A/C heater unit going it was on auto which came on and off every 2 min turned the setting from auto to just heat setting and came on every 2 min off for a min all night long I would not recommend staying at this motel at least not in Rm 103 simply terrible stay

This hotel definitely does what it’s supposed to do, it’s a place to sleep for hopefully one night, cause any more then that and my back would of been destroyed from how hard the bed was. The rooms looked like they went through a renovation recently, but definitely to the cheapest bidder. The side tables where at like a 10 degree slope, the bathroom taps were extremely loose, and the ceiling had cracks at every seem, even the more renovated areas looked like they got mudded but not sanded, just mud and paint. HOWEVER, for the price and for one night stay it did the job, and if your just passing thru it would work great, had simple breakfast in the morning, just bagels and cereal, and can just get right be on the road, if your staying for a couple nights, I’d pay a little more to go somewhere else

The room could be cleaned more, the baseboard are dusty and light switches are dirty. Between the top of the bed and the wall it’s not clean. The isolation between rooms is not good, you can hear people talking and walking easily.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was much smaller than pictured, but did the trick. The door does not have a childproof/security lock or latch. Hallway was very loud in the mornings. Appreciated having a fridge and microwave.

I booked the wrong day accidentally!! They wouldn’t answer Expedia’s attempts to change the day! When I called to change the date they wouldn’t. Each one is blaming the other so my money is not being returned by either party!! When I went into the property the minute I made the mistake, the front desk person was Very cold & mean looking. No empathy that I was lost with no money or room in a new city! Very upset…. I’m never booking through Expedia or the any Econo Lodges EVER AGAIN

The room was fine. The hotel is not in a very nice area - hard to tell when you are booking. There are no elevators. I was on the second floor - I am a pretty fit person with only carryon luggage - but if you have more luggage and are not super fit - it could be a problem. The continental breakfast was good no more no less than I expected but the breakfast room was rather barren. This is a fine hotel and the staff was helpful but I don't think I would stay here again.

The bed was fantastic. Definately worth the upgrade extra fee. Quiet, sound proof room. The continental breakfast was quite good - muffins, toast. Bagels, hot and cold cereals. Coffee, tea, orange and apple juice, yogurts and fresh fruit. Quite an impressive spread.
