Stayed here particularly for the Tesla chargers which were all full of non ev cars and there wasn’t even a normal spot for us, lucky it was a weekend and parking on the street was free, even with a dodgy cohort of people hanging around

The worst part of this stay is the parking. I had to park where I was working because their carpark is first come first serve. I would have forgiven that except that in the morning, when I asked the reception how I can even park my car closer to the hotel, all I got was this weird, very unprofessional response primed with a disgusted look on her face. It's a great location but I will never go back. I will happily pay three times to get good, properly trained front office personnel providing me hospitality that I am paying for.

Overall is fine best the worst thing is the lift out of order. I got a lot of big luggage to be hand held to 3/F. Terrible experience.

Staff were great, room was clean and comfortable. A unexpectedly decent breakfast. Only gripe was that there is limited parking on site, and it was not clear that there was additional street parking available. Looking for parking in the pouring rain at midnight and dodging the roadworks, was not fun! Expected more parking on site and if not, clear directions to additional parking.

Needs Cleaner room carpets. Breakfast was cereals, breads, cupcakes, honey/ butter, coffee. Staff: best people they have! Super, excellent people! see you again. Tesla chargers: x4 in ground floor car park! we shall be back for this reason.

Bedding could use some work (torn sheets ,not enough pillows) parking a large car a nightmare, finding a park on premises after 5pm almost impossible

Everything was perfect. Fantastic modern laundry with equipment that worked and all free to use.

Tesla charger on site. Great rates and complimentary continental breakfast.

Clean and tidy place. Conveniently located. Staff were friendly. Free wi-fi worked well, air con worked well. Beds are reasonably comfy. They have 4 x free electric car chargers which is great, however they do not seem to police the petrol cars parking there so it was almost impossible to charge my car. The carpark under the building is very very tight and small with lots of concrete edges jutting out. Overall, I would stay there again.

Chose for: self parking on site, self service laundry, free continental brekki and of course location (near tram line and so close to some amazing restaurants) Plus the price was great and as our studio room had kitchenette it was just A+

The work "executive" needs to be removed from their title, not clean, shower has pink + black mould growing, staff didnt give us the night security phone number with our checking, and we had young idiots partying till 2.30am, and in the corridor, no way to stop this, as they were drunk. Breakfast is good, rooms very average, not like the photos. Glasses + dishes had to be washed prior to using them. Location is great. Its a 1980's hotel, which even though renovated still smells like a 1980's hotel. Would not stay or recommend. Not cheap for what it is!

The room was relatively spacious for the price, but it was not clean at all. After checking out, I noticed an additional charge of $99.50, which I had not been informed of at any point, including during checkout. When I inquired about it, I was told that the charge was for assistance provided after 10 p.m. because I had left the key card inside the room. However, I was never told at the time that such a high fee would be incurred, so I was very surprised. Since I hadn’t lost the key card but had simply left it inside the room, I felt the charge was unreasonably high. When my key was being handled, I saw that another guest had also left their key inside the room. If they charge nearly $100 to every guest in that situation, it feels excessive and unfair. Although the place advertised 24-hour check-in, additional late-night assistance often incurs high fees, so guests should be aware of that.

Erin was acceptable. Bathroom had been renovated but felt run down. Ceiling tiles cracked and mouldy in places.

Staff were fantastic, checked us in 2 hours early without even us asking. Very friendly and hospitable. Rooms was clean and comfortable and location very central. Breakfast was good.

On arrival we were greeted by a pleasant staff member. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade to a king suite. It had been recently renovated. Great facilities with a kitchen and cooking equipment. Bed was very comfortable and the whole suite was spotless. We stay in Canberra a couple of nights each month and will be returning to this motel.

The premises needs a good clean. All common areas were filthy Fantastic location. It needs a good manager as it has such potential

The place desperately needs refurbishment. Look at the balustrade on the stairwell leading up to the first floor or the missing drawer front in Room 9 for example. There is no excuse for the amount of dirt around the place. The lift is filthy and my room this time was a disgrace. The old phone connection to the right of the bed is covered in thick dust and the table looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned since it was first installed. Old is one thing; dirty is another

Found blood mark on the bed sheet! Mentioned this to the staff and sent an email to the hotel directly but no reply at all, Disappointed!

found it convenient and fairly clean, until I woke up covered in bites / welts. When I reported it, took note but wasn't very concerned.

Dirty mouldy bathroom and no WIFI connection near my room as i was situated towards the back of the property. Had to wait 20min to check in as reception was not present.

Excellent for the price. Plain but very clean. Continental breakfast was quite good. Only criticism is the WiFi service was often poor and difficult to logon to. Also television lacked access to all live TV channels.

There's a door between 2 hotel rooms. It was not sound proof. We can hear phone rings, snooze from next room

Large rooms

On checking in, my credit card which was used to secure the booking was charged even though I ticked the pay on arrival button and I was standing at the counter with my eftpos card. This meant that I then had to go into my bank accounts and move money around which was inconvenient. The room was nice and large with cloud-like beds that were beautiful to sleep on. When I pulled down the blind there was a big strip of dust the length of the blind. I'm not sure anyone had ever cleaned along the top of the blind rolller. The rest of the room was spotless. Great shower and a nice sized bathroom. I couldn't get any free to air tv channnels to work so had to resort to watching the news on the nine now app. Seven plus wouldn't work and there wasn't even an sbs app that I could watch. Disappointing that you couldn't just turn the tv on and watch a show. Maybe some directions on how to use the remote would also be handy. The first time we went down to have breakfast we were turned away as they were so busy there were no tables left. However, when we returned 15 minutes later the breakfast was lovely with nice fresh hot pancakes. I originally booked the hotel because it included breakfast and had it's own free car park. But the car park was small and the spaces were so narrow you literally had to do a 27 point turn to get in or out of the space. I even had to climb over to the passenger side to climb out of my car as there wasn't enough room to open my drivers door.

The room was fine, with adequate kitchen facilites for a short stay. I found the bed too soft but I do prefer a firmer mattress. The kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating which was a pleasant surprise in the middle of the night. The parking was ok, although some of the larger utes and SUVs do overfill their parking spaces. Trams are available right outside the front door. Not sure if the place is double glazed, but didn't get much traffic noise in the room or dinning room.

The hotel may look a little dated outside, but the rooms are refurbished, spacious and very comfortable. Very soft mattresses in the room if thats your thing. Nice dark rooms with no annoying room air and lighting control screens or blue LED lights on power points that light up the room during the night like a lot of the recently built hotels.

Only issue was couldnt connect TV's to wifi

Staff are great very welcoming, we left behind my nieces ear rings in the room called up reception very kindly checked if we left them in the room. They found them and are posting them back to us. Kids also loved the pancakes for breakfast

No hot water both mornings I woke up, and no staff over night or after hours call number to report it to. No managers on weekends. The place is horrible. Stay in a caravan park. It’ll be better.

Could not check in timely as nobody there. And could not park so ended up going elsewhere even though we paid. Do not recommend at all

I booked two rooms, for my mother and my son. As my son was arriving later, my mother had booked in, and left my sons room key at reception. When son arrived, reception closed. He rang and was met with a rude reception staff who said it wasnt her problem, and she couldnt do anything about it. At no stage did they inform my mother reception would be closed at a certain hour. Eventually they stated his key was in a locked box.

Super convenient place to stay, with great access to a bustling dining and shopping scene and a nice park for exercise. Free breakfast was an added bonus.

This hotel is adequate but don't have high expectations. On a very noisy corner. Worn out and a little bit tatty. But is cheap-ish to compensate.

This property is tired and needs an upgrade. The rooms are very basic for the price - handwash dispensers in the bathrooms and that is all (so make sure you have your own shampoo, conditioner etc). A few capsules of milk for the powdered instant coffee, rickety lift...you get the picture. The door to our room didn't shut properly and popped open while we were out (I hope noone went in there) We picked the area for convenience to the city, but it was very very noisy outside all night - drunks, sirens, traffic. Not enough parking spaces so parked out in the street mostly. The one space we did find on Saturday night was at the back of the motel where a couple of addicts were lying on the grass. Did not feel safe at the property and the interior doesn't compensate. Some noise inside late at night too and the whole corridor just reeked of cooked food. A tick for proximity to Braddon and the city.

The property was in a very convenient location for me and had many dining facilities around.The room was facing the street but was still quiet. The room was spacious and had all the amenities to cook or reheat meals. I would stay there again if I was in Canberra.

They had free continental breakfast included and had gluten free bread.

Better than I expected. We booked a family room with a queen and two singles. I thought it was all in one room, but it turned out to be two bedrooms. Also, they had electric vehicle charging, which was a bonus surprise. Breakfast was decent with a fair bit of variety Als

I paid for 2 nights left after one night to noisy craks in bathroom ceiling looked like it was goin fall as for breakfast thought at least ther would of been bacon & eggs on menu would not recommend

Not too bad for a three start hotel, breakfast was average, minimal hot options, room was clean and bathroom adequate.

Great stay. Comfortable room. Bathroom/Shower excellent. Nice bed...just a lower pillow option would be good but other then that, it was great. Breakfast a pleasant bonus & was very good with many options. Staff very nice & happy

Would not stay there again. Staff was friendly but the room was not cleaned properly, and the breakfast had very limited options with low quality food.

Breakfast was better than expected with a variety and coffee 😊. There’s a hot plate in the room so you can cook simple stuff if you come prepared. The layout of the room is well designed and functional. The fan in bathroom did not seem to be working so ventilation was not great. Luckily the balcony door can be opened to help with airflow. We were locked out of room this morning before the check out time because the key cards were canceled. That’s an unpleasant surprise but got fixed quickly. Overall not too bad. Location is good with many restaurants within walking distance.
