Only one elevator, dining area is small. Ice machine only on the first floor

Upon arrival we were informed that the Elevator was out of service. Problem my brother a disabled veteran with knee replacements needed an Elevator! Disappointing 😞 I request compensation as the manager wasn't available upon checkout 😕 REPLY NEEDED

Annoyed-elevator is broken, and based on the professional signs indicating the status, it has been that way for quite a while. Please have notifications of major issues like that at booking. Luckily, we only had a few bags each, but still a pain hauling our stuff up to the 3rd floor. Non smoking is also not enforced, as we could smell weed on our floor-very strong odor.

Everything was very nice except the elevator was broken and there are no handicap rooms available on the first floor. The staff was very nice and made the stay very welcoming.

We loved everything, the Hotel was amazingly clean, we loved the room and the pool, front desk was excellent

Elevator did not work for most of our stay. They put us on the top floor which meant we had to haul luggage up and down 4 flights of stairs. The room also did not smell good- it smelt musty and damp. We were very disappointed to pay so much and have such a poor experience.

I did not intially find this place to be a good value. I was expecting something larger with some kind of added extras for the price. The floor was sticky when I walked in and the air freshener was overpowering. However, by the second day, I discovered the breakfast was above and beyond, and the pool was surrounded by nice tables with umbrellas. The room was in great shape with even some overhead lighting, clean, and with all the basics including refrigerator and microwave. I was able to adjust the air conditioning to my comfort level. The two chairs could have been more comfortable, but otherwise all was fine. The water pressure was excellent and the controls easy to work. Room service knocked on the door to see if there was anything I lacked. Tyler at the front desk went out of his way to try to find me a corkscrew, and I was also able to get complimentary shaving cream when my own ran out. Parking was more than adequate, and the location is close to stores and businesses. All in all it was a comfortable stay.

It is a great location and it looks modernized in the lobby and hallways. The beds were comfortable adn they changed linens and made the beds daily. However in our room, there was a musty moldy smell. The paint was bubbling or had cracked. The floor was sticky. There was mold in the shower grout. The elevator was broken our whole time there.

This was by far the best experience we had in years. It was so so so clean! The hotel smelled clean and fresh the bedding everything was spotless. The staff was friendly checked inn to clean or replace anything needed. The breakfast was great they have multiple options which we appreciated too! Good job to all the staff of this hotel! Can not be more satisfied then we are a family of 4 in one room.

Pretty good hotel welcoming at check in. The room had everything we needed and was very clean as was the bathroom. Didn’t like that the basin was outside of the bathroom area near the door not giving complete privacy which we didn’t like. Our bathroom door was rotten at the bottom and needed replacing it wasn’t very pretty. Beds and pillows were super comfy. The lift didn’t look as though it had been vacuumed for weeks and as there is only the one it was clearly well used. Breakfast was good except there was NO milk at all for cereal or butter for toast and only two yoghurts left. The girl serving the breakfast was very unfriendly and miserable which didn’t give a very good vibe when my husband asked about the milk she just said no there was no milk. Couldn’t someone go out to buy some and buy a couple of blocks of butter to cut up into cubes so you didn’t run out?? Plenty of hot food though which was good. The dining area was very dirty and the fabric seats were horribly stained and badly needed cleaning plus the table legs and feet were really dirty and clearly haven’t been cleaned for a long time. Think the hotel needs a little attention in a few areas. Close to lots of shops and dining so a good location.

Common areas such as elevators and hallways were not kept clean. Minimal amenities in the room, i.e. towels and pillows.

It was ok aside from the 2 roaches that were in my room the day of my stay

Well we are not picky at all and have stayed here before and it was great - this time the hotel stank like sewage and our room was nearly unbearable - strong sewage smell with room spray smell to try and cover it up. It took your breath away it was so bad. We were in too much or a hurry to try and change rooms - we dealt with it and most people would not have. Buckets out and ceiling tiles missing on main floor obv plumbing issues. Why not mention at check in and close hotel until smell is better. It was putrid!!! There were two fans in our room I guess they used to try and remove smell. Didn’t work. Smelled like soiled diapers literally so strong. We should have gotten a major discount - it was terrible.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean with modern looking lobby and dining areas. Our room was clean.

I am still (after 2 weeks) being treated for bed bugs/scabies! Never again.

The location of our room was RIGHT off the lobby and breakfast area. We heard music from the lobby speakers ALL night long, as well as lobby traffic, and moving chairs. Neither of us got a very restful sleep!!! Other than that.............. it was a very pleasant stay.

Another great stay. This is our favorite hotel in the Chesapeake, VA area and the beds are the most comfortable ones we’ve ever experienced.

Rooms are spacious and we'll lit with natural light. staff was excellent, welcoming and efficient for travel weary soul. Shower handle fell off and bedside lights didn't work but otherwise wonderful stay.

Everything is excellent but it is noisy.

Hotel was clean and neat, with great rooms and a comfortable bed. My only complaint was that housekeeping was very loud in the hallways starting at 7 or 8 am so sleeping in was a challenge

Check in was quick but the front desk person wasn't super friendly. Bathroom is separate from sink area, which I thought was odd. Tiny bathroom. Given the cost and free parking, as well as closeness to Wawa, I would probably stay there again.

I was very pleased with this hotel. I almost canceled because of some of the reviews but so glad I didn't. I love it here and will definitely be staying again! The breakfast was wonderful, housekeeping was great, and guest services was on point. Thank you.

The gentlemen that checked me in was very rude and acted as if he didn’t care. He gave me the room key and it didn’t work at all I went back to the front desk and told him that it didn’t work he act as if I was bothering him. I’ve stayed here plenty of times and never got treated like that. I will not be coming back after last night.

Got off shift at 1:30am, was able to check in with no issues or delays. Very happy with everything will definitely be staying here again. Breakfast was delicious and constantly restocked.

This is my second time staying here. It looks as though it was recently renovated. My biggest complaint is a lot of the time there is no one at the front desk when you walk in the lobby. You have call someone out of a back room. Not great security during the day. My two other minor issues I also saw two roaches in my room. When there are two roaches, there could be a lot more unseen. Secondly I had breakfast two days, both, juice orange & cranberry juices were so watered down it was like drinking colored water. The rest of the breakfast was okay, a lot of choices and it is included in the price of your room.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional.

I arrived 20 minutes prior to check in and was told no rooms erre ready. Ten minutes later two separate guests were given rooms . Male desk employee eas rude. That night a group of young teenage girls were running the hallways until 1am. Front desk failed to follow hotel policy enforcing a quiet time after 10 pm. Bad experience

I will not be staying at this hotel again. I booked my room through Expedia and received a confirmation along with proof of payment. However, upon arrival, the front desk attendant insisted that my card had not been charged and asked me to pay again. I showed him the receipt from Expedia clearly showing the charge, but he still directed me to call Holiday Inn Express customer service. After nearly 30 minutes of going back and forth, he finally admitted that the charge had gone through. The situation was confusing, and his lack of professionalism and poor customer service only made it worse. Once I got to my room, the issues continued. The AC unit was extremely loud and rattled nonstop—I had to place a book on top of it just to dull the noise. The room itself felt outdated and unwelcoming. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.

Front staff is always pleasant and welcoming!

When I got there my air condition was broken and they fixed it within 10 minutes. Everything you could need is around it and you can’t get in at night unless you have a key card. Felt safe.

Nice newer hotel. Staff was great. Very convenient to sixty four as well as shopping and restaurants. Would definitely return.

my guys ate the breakfast the was provided by the hotel and on their way to the job site they had to pull over and throw up. they werent able to be to work due to being sick of the side of the road.

The Staff was great. The room was clean and very nice. The breakfast was great. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely book here again. I visit at least once a year if not twice. This motel was very close to my family that lives in the area. So, I will book here each time I visit if possible. I felt very safe here. Thank you to all the staff.
