The only 2 things i didn't like is you had to pay $20 a day to park even though you are paying to stay. There wasn't any water left in the room.

You are paying for the location and convenience of this location. They have a Valet to park the cars because it is a tight squeeze but they make it work. The rooms are small and awkward but we really just needed a place to sleep so it was fine. The trade off of convenience over space was worth it for us. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops from here. One perk was the upper patio overlooking the water. BYOB with some cheese and crackers and it makes for a nice place for a mini happy hour and some pictures before heading out for the night.

Nice place in a great location. Check in was very pleasant and room was clean but small. I wasn't happy that I had to pay $18 a day for parking when I paid $225 a night for the room. I find this completly riduclous and basically a scam since every hotel should have at least 1 parking place for each room.

The location was perfect, the pool was closed for the first two days of our stay for maintenance and the staff couldn’t care when it would reopen. The two reasons I booked there was the location and pool. But otherwise I very positive experience

This property has a covered raised deck that is east facing towards the bay, bridge of lions and the lighthouse beyond. We enjoyed staying here.

The pool was out of service for the whole time we stayed. And that was one of the things we picked the hotel. Breakfast are a grab bag! Banana muffin breakfast bar and a bottle of water. We where charged $25.00 each night for our car to stay there. The Location was great but not worth the money......

The room was small but decent and updated. The staff (what limited interaction we had) was helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable but it took us some time to get the temperature in the room comfortable (it was freezing). There was a very unpleasant sewer smell coming up from the shower drain with each use. For the cost, we have stayed in much better Best Western rooms than this one. We are not likely to book in the future should we stay in St Augustine again.

The motel is in an excellent location adjacent to the St Augustine historical district. Everything is walking distance. The staff was friendly and professional and the room was well appointed and very clean.

Lots of options nearby. Clearly is a redone motel. Found bugs in bed alive and dead immediately left. But is a good walkable spot otherwise if that doesn’t matter to you

The hotel was in the perfect spot. Close to downtown. However our room had ants. They were all in the bathroom and apparently near the bed because both my husband and I had bites.I showed them to the front desk, she said because I made my reservation here, the only thing she could do was return my parking fee. I haven’t seen that yet. Waiting

Location location location gets a 5. I fixed the bathroom (barn style) door. Sink drained very slowly and trash came up from it (they were called to fix it). Beds were very comfortable, room was smaller but comfortable. Had to get in the shower to turn it on and wait for hot water. Staff was polite and attentive. The benches in front of te rooms and the open outdoor spaces were a nice touch. I will probably stay there again and not expect too much except Location location location.

The Best Western in St. Augustine had excellent reviews on the Hotel.com app, but I hadn’t stayed at BW for a long time. I was wrong to worry - the place was fantastic. It’s more of a motel than hotel. Meaning you park outside your room and there isn’t a “lobby” or main hotel - just an office to check-in. The parking is unique but makes perfect sense for the location. When you check in they guide you to your parking space and as you come and go they fit you in by moving barriers and stanchions. It sounds complicated but it works very well. Our room was small but worked for our stay without issue. The room was clean and up-to-date. Bathroom was nicely done. The location is excellent - the historic fort is across the street and the historic streets are 1 minute away walking. We spent most of our time exploring the town. Many great places to eat, drink and people watch. The town is very friendly and we felt safe throughout the historic area. The only negative was the hotel wifi really didn’t work for us. Might have been our room location - we were ground level and not far from main office.

Great location super clean modern rooms. Parking was awesome, lot has attendant that helps you park. My one and only beef, music and crowd noise from bars next door do make it into your room. No issues falling asleep but you do hear the area noise.

Room was nice except the bed was too firm for us. We did not sleep well. Also, it was "damp" in the room, esp after showering. It was a pretty small room. But, the tv worked well, it was very clean, shower was nice, everything worked. Julie, front desk, was very friendly. All went well.

The hotel room was clean and updated. The air conditioner worked VERY in our room. I will give you heads up though, because the hotel is very near to the historic section. There are restaurants, bars, cafés that do have bands in the night hours. We happen to be on the side of the hotel that had some type of band playing right next-door. You could very easily hear the band and the singer through the wall. When you check in, you are given a paper that states that there is music close to the area and that earbuds are given out courtesy to the hotel guest if you need them. Just be worn that if you have trouble sleeping when there’s noise nearby this may not be the place for you. If you’re not bothered by it it’s a great place to stay. I happen to sleep with earbuds in my ears every night with white noise so I was OK. Just giving you a heads up. Place is great though the location is fantastic.

The room was small and the bathroom extremely small. Walls were thin with noise and an alleyway behind the room with bars and traffic. No elevators and stairs narrow. The hotel was in a good location.

Always very clean and all staff is very efficient and friendly. Sherri (front desk) is such an assest to this establishment. She's been there for years and it shows that she loves her job. We love seeing her there to greet us when we come for our annusl visit. We plan to continue our stay at this Best Western on future trips.

Even though check-in had been completed online, Check in had to be completed again with Sheri who was not friendly, but was efficient. Room was not yet ready so we returned later and met Latoya who was downright rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. Even though all information and credit card had been previously provided to Sheri, Latoya demanded the information and credit card again without explaining why this was necessary. She even raised her voice to demand the credit card again when we asked why. Parking attendant was efficient and friendly. Room was clean. AC unit was a bit loud.

This place was a gem and we were so lucky to find it. I hate to give this place a good review because I don’t want everyone to know about it. However this property deserves the praise. The staff was wonderful, kind and accommodating (Shoutout to my lady Sheri!). Our room was clean and perfect for our quick trip. The location was superb and made it easy to walk to everything. 10/10 will stay here again!

The staff at this hotel were wonderful. We were treated as valued guests from the moment we checked in. Our room wasn’t large but recently renovated and well laid out so it didn’t feel crowded. Everything was spotless clean and in good working condition. The location is perfect! Everything is within walking distance. About a 2 minute walk to Castillo de San Marcos fort. The trolley stops right in front of the hotel. We had our choice of multiple great restaurants within a 2 block radius. We’ll definitely be back again!

It started with our check in person and how hard she made it to just check in. It was as if she was doing us a favor and using all her "power" to make us wait. It was unprofessional and unnecessary treatment. I hope you are able to talk and retrain this person

When I came to check in their systems were down so I had to wat 30 mins. After a 17 hour drive. Then the next morning house keeping walked in on me. Unclothed. Didn’t knock, didn’t announce their selves. I feel completely violated.

The hotel is located in a great spot and ideal for walking to all of the old center of St Augustine. Parking is a bit cramped but the attendant is great at getting everybody as close as possible to their room. No frills, but nice modern rooms and all you need for a stay in the area

This is obviously an older hotel, however, our room was great. It had recently been updated and was clean, spacious and well appointed. The location of this hotel makes it a jewel. It is located downtown and easily walkable to all the Old Town establishments. Highly recommend this Best Western Historic Bayfront.

Perfect place to stay if you do not want to drive around the area. Walking distance to everything. The hotel is nice, staff is friendly. The only downside is the size of the parking lot and grab n go breakfast ( not like other Best Westerns)

They offer discounted breakfast at Mary's Harborview Cafe next door. We always go to Mary's for breakfast. There is coffee in the lobby every morning. Seating area above the Porte-cochère. We live to have our morning coffee up there.

The location is excellent. The service at reception unfriendly. I didn’t understand why they charged extra for 2 queen bed instead of a King bed. Very unusual!! I did the booking for 2 rooms breakfast included. There were no breakfast, at all. It was a coffee machine at the reception, and a bag with water and a muffin. I think they should not sell a room with breakfast included. We spoke with other guess and they said that the receptionist gave them a voucher to go for the next door restaurant where they got a full service with eggs, bacon etc etc. I asked and they say it was only for special guess! Ah but we got nothing!! It is false advertising.!

This property is in a great location walking distance to everything in the historic district. Hotel was very clean, very nicely decorated for the holidays. Upon arrival they immediately helped us into our parking spot and check in process for late arrival was smooth. The room was clean beds were comfortable and everything worked, rooms are small but that was ok. No free breakfast which best westerns usually have and small lobby but they do offer coffee and a to go bag with water a muffin and a granola bar. The view of the bay is spectacular with walking distance to the fort and restaurants. Bar next door so a little bit noisy but we didn’t mind since it’s the holiday season. We would stay here again!

Great location. Clean. Staff is friendly. No real breakfast, only a bagged breakfast with a small muffin, snack bar and bottle of water. Loud music and crowd noise in the room until 2 AM from restaurants around the hotel. If it continues after that, was told that we can call the cops.
