Our rooms were great we had cabins on the river which were amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful only issue we had was we never saw hippos! Nobody’s fault but was the main reason for booking!

Saw hippos first 5 mins on property. Helicopter ride was awesome. Food was ok but view from restaurant was awesome. 10mins to Kroger gate. 2 minute drive to elephant whisperers. 2 minutes to Perry’s trading post

Loved the style and staff service. Even if the hotel is in a more remote area there are few things to do around. The helicopter scenic flights from the hotel is definitely unique service.

Ficamos no Hippo pois faríamos 2 dias inteiros de safari, e ele está a 15 minutos do portão Phabeni. No check in avisamos que no doa seguinte faríamos o primeiro safari, que seria as 5h30 da manhã e solicitamos a box de café para levarmos. Pra nossa surpresa nada foi preparado e ficamos sem café da manhã. Partimos para o Kruger as 5h30 e o carro do Safari só parou as 9h para compramos um café da manhã. Ao final do dia retornamos para o Hotel e solicitamos esclarecimentos da ausência do nosso café da manhã. A gerente Vanessa veio conversar e resolveu.
