The property is good and clean. The hot tub was out of commission for a day so they let us use the one in the next hotel over. The kids loved the pool., the adults loved the outdoor hot tub!

Our room was not clean with popcorn under the beds and pizza crust on the shelf. Our tub didn’t drain. Requested additional blanket and towels and never did show up. The indoor hot tub was not working. However outdoor hot tub was nice and kids enjoyed the pool. Lots of parking available.

The pool facility is filthy, the hot tubs were both closed. At night, every night there were either hotel workers or town people laughing loud and yelling to the point of waking us up every night. The hotel staff seemed friendly but the properly is in terrible shape and filthy.

The room smelled smoky, we requested for extra pillows but never received. Wished that we were notified ahead of time about the pool & hot tub being out of service. It would be nice to have an on stop restaurant to provide food service instead of having to cross the street and use the Jasper Park Lodge to accommodate us the needed services.

Nice clean hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Warm pool to swim in and a small exercise room. Indoor/outdoor hot tub were great. Sauna wasn't to warm for my liking. 10 minute walk from downtown & shopping

Dishes were dirty, some old and no longer should be provided for use. The bedding duvet was covered in stains. So grosse. Walls paper thin, can hear everything between rooms. Was fine during the week but the weekend was terribly loud. Pool area is nice. Front desk Staff were very apologetic and helpful with changing bedding and moderating noise. Will not be staying again.

Stay at the Lobstick was great. The room was clean and our room had two king beds which were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of parking too. I would stay again.

Older hotel. Sink was clogged the whole time. Garbage wasn’t removed from the room. On top of all that, we had changed our dates for the hotel and got dinged a huge fee for it without even being told. After I got back I noticed the refund amount was a fraction of what I paid. Super disappointing communication! Would not recommend!

I’m thankful Jasper was so beautiful because this hotel was anything but that. We had no housekeeping check in during our 4 day vacation, we had to ask for fresh linens and when doing so we felt we were “inconveniencing” the staff. The indoor hot tub was closed for repairs therefore made the outdoor hot tub extremely hard to utilize when so many other people were doing so. Cleanliness needs to be worked on in the pool area and in the rooms.

The room smelled awful, like old cooked spicy food which was baked into everything in the room. We tried our best to air it out but the smell was overwhelming. It didn't help that there was no AC. The sink would't drain and the toilet colgged instantly. We had to have maintenance address the issue.

This property is exactly what is expected from an older property. Rooms were clean and spacious - but dated. Parking was easy. Location was convenient. It’s not a 5 diamond property, but it’s not supposed to be one. I’d come back again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable but we were there in 38 degree weather and there was no Air Conditioning. Opening our windows didn’t help as it was too hot out and we faced into a courtyard and other rooms could see into ours if curtains were open.

Good location and Joanna provided us an outstanding service, and very pet friendly with free treats for our little dog. Would recommend to our friends and family. Rooms are huge with kitchenette.

The beds weren't made the sheets were just thrown back on, toilet paper, towels and cups weren't restocked and staff was rude when I asked that those things be replaced

There was a group of teens from a hockey team that wreaked havoc around the hotel all weekend. Their parents didn’t seem to care to control them, and the hotel seemed to not do much other than make them relocate whenever complaints were made. They made the pool a very unwelcoming place for children and families, at multiple hours and times of day, even when asked to settle down. They were up through the night making noise in various rooms. When security would come, they would just move to a different room, and then repeatedly prank phone call the rooms that complained about their noise and behaviour. One of the worst experiences in a hotel ever, I would have expected the property managers to deal with the disturbances better than they did. Don’t think my family will be back.

The check in person was brusque bordering on rude. She was quite unhelpful and uninformative. It seemed to hurt her to smile. Not a pleasant experience. The rest of the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Room itself was in good condition but bathroom looked like it was from another planet. Mismatched (different colors) and crooked doorknobs, makeup/shaving mirror crooked on wall and not installed properly. Toilet tank crooked, tap fixture on sink loose and couldn't be tightened as mounting nut below on left side was missing. Robe hook on back of door crooked and loose. No breakfast available in restaurant, buns and drinks only in kiosk. Sister property next door had restaurant and overpriced breakfast buffet at $24 per person but no discount offered for guests, other nearby property had very similar breakfast buffet for $15 per person. Entry doors from street were unlocked from 7am to 11pm but should have limited access via key card locks, not very safe at all for guests. Checked out one day early due to bad weather coming, prepaid via Expedia but no refund or compensation available. Property overpriced considering the lack of amenities and security.

The hotel was great, clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was lovely. The cafe was very average but lots of options in town for lovely food. It was easy 10 minute walk into the shops. We did hear some noise at times from the people walking around at night but this didn’t last too long. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would be happy to stay there again.

Easily accessible to Jasper- just a 10-15 minute walk to the main strip. Dining options can be closer (they have breakfast available for purchase). The lodge itself is older, but everything works well. No AC as advertised, but there is a fan provided and the air in the evening is cool when the window is open. Bonus that there’s a pool and hot tub available. Quick check in and check out. Great amenities for the price!

Our stay was fine, the rooms were clean and as expected, the pool area was nice. There was only cable tv, which I am not used to anymore with all the at home streaming services. The room was incredibly hot and we had to keep the windows open the whole time. At least there were two fans that helped. One small thing - the outlets are about 5 feet above the floor and the kettle cord would not reach when the kettle sat on table and there was no place else to set it safely... So that was very strange. The lady at the front desk was friendly and the price was right. There did not seem to be a sit down restaurant available as the website indicates however.

The only drawbacks to the Lobstick are the in house coffee bar (very limited hours) and the onsite restaurant which hasn’t been open in several years. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay.
