I really liked everything about it, except the fact that they made it a rule that you can’t walk through the dinning area to the elevator when it’s a short cut. It just doesn’t make any sense. There was a woman worker that went as far as to blocking the area with a table. I didn’t realize how serious it was it just didn’t make sense. You are not hurting anyone by walking through there. And the worker didn’t have to make a huge deal about it. I mean it takes 5 seconds to walk through. Over all the place felt safe and nice but her attitude just didn’t leave a good impression. Also keeping in mind that my room was on the 7 floor and only one elevator took you up to that floor so if that elevator was busy I would have to use another elevator to the 6 floor and then go up the stairs to the 7th floor. I had no problem with that. But they had a problem with me walking through a dining room that was mostly empty every time. It was just so annoying!

Solo dos cosas, primero que el día del check out no cancelen la llave antes de las 12:00 del día ya que en algunos casos no permiten sacar las cosas, que el elevador del inicio te llevara a los diferentes pisos no solo al lobby ya que el siguiente elevador esta muy escondido. en cuanto a la habitacion, limpieza, desayunos todo estuvo excelente, un gran hotel. saludos

Very good location, in the heart of the historic center. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. But you can hear everything when people talk on the hallways. Also, it is located on a pedestrian only street. You will have to haul your luggage half a block. Overall, place is great. I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location, between the Zocalo and Palacio de Bellas Artes. It is on a busy pedestrian street, but with access around the corner for Uber and taxis and my room was quiet at night. It is 2 blocks from the metro, if you plan to use public transportation. It is very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again on my next trip.

Staff was very courteous from the very beginning until the last day. Everybody was great. The room was very clean, and room service cleaned it every day and kept it clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for taking care of us during our stay.

Beds were good and so was staff and service. They were very welcoming and had quick room service. The bathroom had mold in the shower windows and floor. Room has a mini split and it had mold on the vents. I don’t know if it was the air quality or what but there are no carpets and walls are cement walls so I don’t know where the mold came from. Breakfast was nice but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Hace un año exacto me había quedado en este hotel y todo fue de maravilla y este año regresé pensando que sería similar, el personal fue muy amable pero desde antes de entrar a la habitación olía mucho a drenaje y suponía que adentro no sería así pero así fue todo el tiempo olía horrible a drenaje y en general muchas partes del hotel olían muy mal!

Es la cuarta vez que visitó CDMX y el hotel Ritz vendría siendo el peor hotel que me he hospedado por 7 noches, a la segunda noche notamos que amanecíamos con picaduras de chinche se lo dejamos saber en la recepción y nos hicieron cambio de habitación, en esa habitación el problema era que la ducha y el Toilet son separados con cero privacidad cero insulación se escucha todo, también al no tener un extractor la habitación se llena de malos olores de la bañera y el Toilet, al abrir la ventana para que entre aire fresco para cuando uno usa el Toilet o para que salga el vapor de la ducha se tiene que abrir la pequeña ventana al hacer eso si no te aseguras de cerrarla la habitación se llena de mosquitos y eso es muy incómodo tratar de dormir con el sonido de los mosquitos a tu alrededor, cuando yo hice la reservación deje saber que éramos cuatro huéspedes y te dejan toallas solamente para dos personas y también es incómodo estarle diciendo todos los días que se necesitan dos toallas extras además esas toallas parece que tienen años en no cambiarlas y están demasiado viejas y con mal olor. Lo único bueno veo es la ubicación y la persona que me atendió en la llegada al hotel

This hotels location is fantastic - in the middle of historical centre of Mexico City, It is very convenient. Negative part is that it may be a bit noisy till late at night due to the walking street it is standing on, so bring ear plugs if you plan to go to sleep early. Staff was nice, polite and helpful.They will order a cab for you and they will walk you to the cab when the cab arrives. Cleaning is excellent. Breakfast buffet is good, you will not stay hungry.Elevator worked just perfect, no complaints. Overall the hotel is outdated, needs some renovations.There was no fridge in my room, also no Kleenex or other tissues. However there were a safe and a hairdryer, bottled water. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable.

Overall, this was a good deal. It's right in the center of Centro Historico, so easy walk to a bunch of sites, food everywhere nearby, etc. Room was fairly modernized, with a nice big shower and modern bathroom, comfy beds, good safe. The challenge was that the hallways are alive, and although we couldn't hear other *rooms*, we were constantly hearing all the screaming and joking and yelling and singing in the hallways. Hard to blame the hotel for that, since it's the guests, but consider it if you're a light sleeper. Still, overall we were very happy

Cute hotel right in Historic Mex City. Numerous dining options, walking distance to many tourist spots. The only inconveniences I had was I had no TV the 4 nights I was there. I notified reception 2 times, but it never was fixed. They did offer me complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. Also, shower curtains were too short, water everywhere after any shower. Other than that, hotel was ok.

The room was spotless and the staff was great. If you want to be in the middle of the action this is the hotel for you. The only reason I can not give it a 5 star rating is because in our room the floor was uneven and separated with gaps on the floor.

Excellent service, the door man walk me to catch an uber at 4am. My only disappointment was that remote control for the TV didn’t work. Suggestion: The Ritz should have a souvenir shop like caps that says Ritz Mexico. Other then that everything was on point.

All planing on staying at this hotel. Do a complete walk through of the room given for damages. The night manager Sarai, tried her best to charge me for a damaged entry door frame to my given room previously damaged withouth any evidence or even looking at the cameras located throughout the property. Door frame had previously been repaired and it was obvious that the rapair was not the best. The property itself was great but, a shame that the property management was not. She was combative and didn't really wanted to hear me out. Again, nice property well located.

This hotel is located right in between el Zocalo and Bellas Artes. There’s plenty of shopping and dining areas around and a lot to explore. Although it is an older hotel, it is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was okay, don’t get there towards the end or everything will be cold. I would stay here again for the location and walkability. Only con is that it’s located on a street with no car access but a cab can easily drop you off a couple feet away.

What a fantastic hotel ..just a minute walk from Zocalo Square..made us feel so comfortable…breakfast there was awesome so make sure include it in your booking..they even arrange a cab and took us right to the cab person to the airport..what else a tourist wants …. The place is superbly safe and lots of food available there 😊
