ホテルのサービス、スタッフの対応、部屋、屋外プール、朝ごはん全て素晴らしかったのですが、地下鉄の駅からホテルの入り口までの移動が大変です。バスもありますが、10分おきで何かと不便です。到着したときは、スーツケースをひいて歩いていたため、ホテルのサービスとして車に乗せていただけましたが、それ以外は車のサービスはなく、暑い日にホテルの入り口まで階段で昇るのはとても辛かったです。待機している車も多いので、宿泊客だけでも車で送迎をしてもらえるようサービスを工夫してもらえたらと思いました。特に日本人観光客は地下鉄を利用して滞在するので、立地を考えると選択として外すことになってしまいます。満足度がとても高いホテルなので是非検討していただきたいです。

The Shilla is a fabulous hotel in a great location! The service is outstanding. From the very moment we stepped into the lobby, we were taken care of. We experienced fantastic communication and care in every aspect of our stay. We also enjoyed the duty-free shops next door. One thing to mention that wasn't initially clear to me is that the indoor pool is a smallish lap pool and not suitable for soaking or general use (its just for folks to do laps). If you want the pool experience, I definitely recommend upgrading to the outdoor pool, which is luxurious and family-friendly. The service at the outdoor pool was also, as always, top-notch. I will be staying at the Shilla on all future trips to Seoul!

The Shilla is a luxurious stay and the rooms are fantastic and facilities looked great albeit I did not get a chance to use them during my stay. The downside is the need to pay to access the outdoor pool and how there were several membership areas that meant guests did not have access to.

The hotel felt pretty old and dated. Room conditions were poor, scuffed walls, water stained tabletops, and chipped wood. The air conditioning in the room was very weak, unable to dehumidify during the summer. The hotel hallway were musky and humid as well, with an unpleasant old smell.

Fantastic hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Had the pleasure of a 5 day stay here. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Fabulous bathroom with shower, separate bathtub, and separated WC. Excellent fitness facilities that we made full use of. Location very good and easy to travel from to get to notable landmarks in Seoul. I am a regular traveller and I look forward to returning to this hotel. I won’t be looking elsewhere for my stays in Seoul - it will always be the Shilla Seoul.

朝食はとても種類が多くクオリティーが高く大満足でした。お部屋がツインルームで予約したはずなのにダブルベッドと簡易ベッドのお部屋で、家族ではなく友人と二人の旅行だったので困りました。ホテルからはグレードアップと言われたのですが？かなり早くに予約したはずなのに残念でした。 2泊する予定だったので、我慢できずツインルームに変更していただいたのですが、シャワールームのタイルが割れていたり、ベッドが埃ぽかったりでコロナ前に泊まった新羅ホテルとは違っていました。

This hotel is hands-down my favorite place to stay in Seoul. Every time I visit the city, I check availability here before considering any other hotel. The rooms are clean, quiet, and somehow I always get a room with a view of Namsan Tower. Waking up to that view never gets old. It was just as lovely as everyone has reported. The front desk, room service, bellmen, etc, were all so very friendly and kind. Every staff person we met went out of their way to help us and offer a first class welcome. They were exceedingly polite, especially with our language barrier. Many of them spoke English fluently. It was just wonderful to be treated so well.

By far and away the best service I have ever received at a hotel, and I have traveled extensively. We had two different people greet us before even making it near the entrance, then a single person made sure we were guided and immediately attended to. We were graciously given a free upgrade and when the staff found out that we were here for a special event for the kids, they printed a letter to them and have a box of chocolates, which my kids can't stop talking about. The breakfast buffet was spectacular and absolutely worth the price. My husband still talks about how every other hotel on our trip was a letdown. 100% we would stay at The Shilla again the next time we are in Seoul.

Large hotel and Tax Free Shopping Centre on a hilltop, with great views of the university campus and telecom tower on one side and the city on the other. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so you have to travel further each time. The restaurants in the hotel are great, but very pricey. The sauna, plunge pools, outside pool & changing rooms are only available to the top room type guests and to outside customers who join the health club. The gym is accessible, but has no changing facilities; the indoor pool is accessible, but has a tiny changing room with one shower and few lockers. Great service, but a very large and busy hotel. Taxis are needed to go anywhere and, if you are coming from the subway station at the bottom of the hill, it’s a long, steep slog up. They do have curtesy hourly and half-hourly buses to 2 shopping locations in the city.

I stayed here for three days by myself, and it was superb. All staff there were exceptionally attentive that I felt highly luxurious hospitality. My favorite parts of the hotel were the view of Namsan in the room, and the gym; the gym staff was very informative when I asked some advice. Only downside was that it is not quite pedestrian friendly; it is slightly long distanced to access the public transportation. Even so, I will love to stay here again next time.

渡韓３回目にして新羅ホテル利用してみました。明洞のホテルから無料シャトルバス利用で移動しました。新羅ホテルから毎時30分発なので11：30発のバスだと明洞からは11：50分頃に乗ることができました。そこからぐるっと回ってまた新羅ホテルへ行くのですが渋滞にはまるし、結局ついたのは12：25でした。おとなしくタクシーに乗ったほうが早いですね… ■良い点・スタッフ素晴らしかったです。チェックインのスタッフも丁寧ですし、レストラン羅宴も利用したのですがとても親切でした。・ホテルから最寄りの東大入口まで行きたいと入口近くのスタッフに伝えると無料で車で送ってくれました。・新羅免税店が近いのでショッピング楽しめます。・ホテル地下にあるショッピングモールに食器のお店があるのですが、素敵でした。・１階にあるベーカリーで朝食を買って部屋で食べたのですが、おいしかったです。次回は帰国時に買って帰りたいなと思いました。・レストラン羅宴くを利用しましたが、とても美味しかったです。１品１品丁寧に説明してくれます。店内そこまで広くなく、個室は見ていませんが最大7組までのようでした。早めの予約必須です。・ホカンス楽しみたい方にはベストだと思います。今回スパや朝食ビュッフェを利用する時間がなかったので次回は絶対利用したいです。時間にゆとりある方が利用するホテルですね。 ■悪い点・他のホテルに比べると駅の目の前とかではないし、坂もあるのでそこの部分は不便かもしれません。無料シャトルバスもあるので補えるかとは思います。・駅周辺もいろいろお店があるわけではないので、ショッピングなど楽しみたい方は移動は必須ですね。東京でいえば大手町のパレスホテルみたいな感じでしょうかね。・私が利用した時にはシャネルのイベントがあったようで、ホテルロビーがその関係者で埋まっていました。ロビーの椅子も埋まってるほど…イベントと重なるとちょっと落ち着かない雰囲気になるので静かな時に利用したかったなと思いました。

Amazing property! Everything is done for the benefit of customer. The pleasant greeting from the door service when you arrive to the front desk, extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is a must!!! Amazing food, prepared to perfection, so many choices and it is Huge!!! The property is a little bit of distance away for area attractions, but nothing a simple cab can’t handle. Wonderful experience and I highly recommend this property!

This is an extremely high class building. It would be a pretty decent honeymoon hotel. Everything is beautiful and pristine, including the people. As a pleb, I felt a little out of place. This place is designed for people who are looking to spend money. For example, the breakfast buffet is 80000 won ($66), and there are a number of high end designer brand stores on the premises (Hermès, …etc), and access to the outdoor pool is $60 per day. The dinner buffet was 180000 won ($144), but it was easily the most impressive spread I’ve ever seen, including giant snow crab legs, Peking duck, and roasted lobster tails. The downside is that there is no affordable food on the premises, and there is not much commercial activity in the immediate vicinity (though there are some quite nice areas if you’re willing to walk 15 minutes or take a subway). There is also a very nice and affordable cafe “Haus” which is a ~6 min walk down some steep stairs.

One of the best hotels in Korea. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Swimming pool was so fun and they did outdoor concert for swimmers. It was so fun. The Room was well maintained and clean. We stayed during the hot summer but the blanket was heavy, seemed for winter. Toiletries are not complimentary.
