Old fashion, but acceptable value for money. The elevator was out of order when I arrived, we had to use the stairs or a totally crashed elevator. After the elevators had been repaired, I got stuck in the staircase, because nobody told me not to use the stairs anymore. They locked it, I could enter but couldn’t exit. In the room the bathtub plug was also bad, the water didn't drain. The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel generally was clean. If you want to taste a good italian pizza, do not do that in the hotels’s restaurant! :)

A nice hotel with good amenities. Clean and everything in good working order throughout the hotel. Room on 9th floor with city view, food at hotel was good and reception staff prompt and polite. I did find it odd that on the two occasions I went to the bar no one was around, despite waiting a few minutes no one showed. So I opted for drinks outside the hotel. But would stay again and would recommend.

Personale gentile e disponibile. Albergo ha bisogno di una buona ristrutturazione. Stanza con chiave elettronica 2 giorni su 3 non funziona. Doccia che allaga tutta la stanza. Upgrade gratuito pubblicizzato sul sito una grande bufala... Anche se avevano stanze disponibili mi hanno chiesto un sovrapprezzo extra.... Lo sconto sulle consumazioni idem. Giudizio finale pessimo, concorso di colpa sia del hotel (il pessimo del gruppo starhotel che ho visitato) sua del sito hotel.com che promette, mai poi la struttura non mantiene (stanza 901, ma non c'è mai gone al peggio cambio stanza 705... The room was spacious with plenty of room. The room furnishings are from the 1980s, with an old and visibly dirty carpet that didn't smell good. The noisy air conditioning, which couldn't be left on at night, made the nights very hot with poor air quality. Maybe I was unlucky with my room, I can't say how it is in the other rooms.

This hotel was amazing and made our stay in Genoa very welcoming. The hotel was super clean, beautiful and the room had a beautiful view of the city. The staff were very welcoming at both the check in desk and bar, and housekeeping was very friendly and efficient. The area was very convenient to access tourist attractions and was very walkable to major areas. It was easy to get a taxi too. We would definitely stay here again upon our return to Genoa.

Our second stay over the Christmas holidays. Conveniently placed near the old city and only a short walk from the main train station. Only inconvenience, the air conditioning is not turned on during the winter and the rooms get quite warm, 24/25 celsius.

Alles Bestens, wir wurden super freundlich empfangen und der Herr an der Rezeption hat gefragt wie unsere Anreise war, da wir 10 Stunden mit dem Auto unterwegs waren meinte er sofort. Das erste Zimmer was gereinigt wurde bekommen wir. Was für ein entgegenkommen denn wir waren um 07:30 Uhr da . Eine Stunde später waren wir in einem super schönen Zimmer mit Blick auf die Stadt. Alles war Bestens , das Auto kann man sicher in der Parkgarage abstellen und die Stadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war auch super. Sollten wir nochmal in Genua sein würden wir das Hotel wieder buchen . Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt

Io credo che per un hotel che si definisca per la categoria ^ricettiva^ quindi che sia disponibile non solo a ricevere fisicamente un cliente qualsiasi, ma anche ad ^accogliere^ una qualsiasi problematica e cercare la soluzione migliore per non buttare via soldi negli interessi di entrambe le parti, io ieri ho avuto dei seri problemi perche il tir che avrebbe dovuto consegnarci il materiale per lavorare, si e bloccato in autostrada e per tante regole autostradali insomma il lavoro e stato rimandato a lunedi prossimo, l'hotel non ha voluto né capire ragioni, né mediare al 50%, nessun dialogo solo riconoscere la parola incassare soldi senza dare un servizio.... e non credo che l'hotel era stracolmo oppure abbia avuto delle perdite... in quanto hanno saputo che non pernottavo alle 10 della mattina, orario decente per trovare una soluzione condivisa, alla fine per 5 persone per una notte ci ho rimesso circa 400 €... se una buona nomea valga il gettone di 400 €, io personalmente ci metto il cuore nel giudizio e vi sconsiglio di prenotare e pagare prima, specialmente se si tratta di viaggi di lavoro, L'assurdita è che se tj trovi gia come ospite all'interno della struttura, sono tutti cordiali, gentili, disponibili etc, se per motivi terzi non riesci a raggiungere l'hotel, non ti cagano!!!, e pero incassano, quindi da sconsigliare

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy! We loved Genova! The hotel was in a perfect location. The train station was a 5 minute walk to Genova Brignole which connected us to so many places including La Spezia, Rome, Pisa, Cinque Terre, etc. The bus station was also a 5 minute walk and we took buses 31 and 13 to the port and to Nervi as was Volabus to the airport (10 Euro, be on time though. It stops for 1 minute). Lots of dining options within walking distance (downtown area). The rooms were terrifc, just like the pictures showed...clean, neat and modern! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Monica suggested using the Volabus to the airport and another staff member took my request for an early morning breakfast bag since I was going to miss breakfast (I had paid for the breakfast pkg) and lo and behold at 4:45 am, there was a bag with juice, croissants, apple and spreads including plastic cutlery. I am so grateful. Thank you so much!

The bedroom was super heated, 27C at night in spite of the heating having been turned off. The staff offered to open the window (special key needed) but the noise from the traffic and the constant ambulances was deafening. The safe didn’t work and a member of staff had to repair it. They didn’t tell us that the biscuits left in the room weren’t complimentary and I have been left with unexplained pending charges on my credit card totalling far more than what Expedia quoted, even allowed for additional charges. Breakfast also poor with very salty food. Altogether an unpleasant experience which I will not repeat.

Sind um 20h dort angekommen, kaum Leute an der Rezeption aber mussten doch 20min warten für den Zimmerschlüssel. Alle Daten die bereits über hotels.com übermittelt wurden, mussten nochmals angegeben werden. Zimmer sind ok, die Minibar hat überhöhte Preise.

At first the VIP room upgrade was not given. I decided to enquire as I didn't feel the room was up to standard. The reception said it was at the hotel discretion but reluctantly found me a better room. The deluxe room was lovely - so very pleased I asked. As I didn't have a vehicle I didn't need the parking voucher - i think this should have been changed to a breakfast, mini bar or bar voucher.

The hotel is So nice, the staff were really helpful and professional. They couldn’t help us enough. The area is pretty bad, but that’s mainly because there’s a park right across the street that’s full of homeless people, and a lot of drug addicts. Not the hotels fault. Also it’s surrounded by very busy roads. Still, we extended our stay and would happily stay here again

Abbiamo soggiornato altre volte in questo hotel. Vicinissimo alla stazione ferroviaria di Brignole e al centro storico. Un po’ più lontano dal porto antico ma Genova è bellissima e 4 passi si fanno sempre molto volentieri. La nostra stanza è stata aggiornata di recente non tutte le stanze dell’hotel sono state aggiornate in ogni caso la struttura è consigliata. Personale gentilissimo.

It was close to everything. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel rooms could use a bit of renovation. The lobby doesn't represent the rooms. The A/C doesn't cool. We ended up opening the window. The staff were very friendly and helpful

This is a great hotel. Nice and helpful staff. Clean, modern, air conditioned and quiet rooms. It is conveniently located near one of the train stations. However, there aren’t that many restaurants to choose from in the direct vicinity of the Hotel. The hotel restaurant however is very good. As of this writing (beginning of July 2023) the metro is under construction. This was a bummer for me as I was planning to use it. I ended up taking taxis instead.
