Excellent property in new Canary Wharf neighbourhood! I really enjoyed staying at Vertus Edit! The property is new and well equipped. Everything I needed for my four day stay was in the room including washing up liquid, cutlery, crockery, pans, etc. The lounge on the top floor was very useful for working during the day and relaxing in the evenings. There is a coffee machine that is free to use and an Honesty Market to pick up food items. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay, even when I managed to blow a fuse in my studio. It was quickly fixed. The only issue I had with this property is that my studio was not air conditioned and I stayed during the heat wave so it was slightly uncomfortable. But other than that, top marks! Will definitely stay again!

Victoria and Laine the manager, were very responsive and helpful throughout my three-week. Great to have kitchenette, coffee machine on twelveth floor and washing machines for clothes. The gym is very small, a disappointment. When you are out of tea and coffee bags, they resupply.

Nice, newly built hotel within walking distance to the Elizabeth line. However, it was hard to find due to a lack of signs, and even harder to get a cab there because of ongoing construction and changing road closures. In their second building, there’s a fitness center and a common area with complimentary coffee and a nice view. It’s a great hotel and it’ll be a great area once the work is finished, I’d definitely consider coming back.

Property is new and in great condition. Plenty of storage space in bedroom and bathroom, nice kitchen setup, comfortable bed. Only one tube stop from the O2 and like five stops from popular areas like Westminster or London Bridge via the Jubilee line. There is a really nice lounge on the top floor and there are also laundry facilities. £2 per wash and £1 per dryer load. Check in time wasn’t until 15:00 but my room was ready when I arrived at 12:30 and they checked me in.

The room was exceptionally clean and meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. The place is fantastic, and the service was outstanding. The only minor downside is the lack of a small coffee machine in the room, though there’s a free coffee station on the second floor, which isn’t the most convenient but still perfectly acceptable. I would definitely return!

The room was spotless. No marks/chips/mould or signs of wear/tear. It had dishes ready to be used as well as soap. The towels are HUGE and soft and there is plenty of storage even in the smallest room. The common rooms are large and comfortable as well as clean with great amenities including free hot drinks. Theres also a terrace with great views and lots of outdoor seating. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything. The hotel let us check in at 10am without us even asking which was a great experience after travelling since early hours. We would 100% stay here again, especially when its cheaper than most hotels with less amenities that are also more dated. The area is also quite busy with pedestrian traffic and LOTS of local shops that are open late (11/2am) so if you need anything its not far to travel and the whole area felt very safe.

Really lovely accommodation. Very easy to find and signposted all the way from Canary Wharf tube station. The check in was seamless and the staff were very friendly. The lobby was very clean and smart and smelt gorgeous! The room itself was perfect for our overnight stay - very clean, comfy bed and a great kitchenette, which we didn’t need to use on this occasion. The shower was powerful, the toiletries smelt gorgeous and the towels were very soft. There are also plug sockets by the bed. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The property is located in a beautiful area. We arrived a little earlier than the official check-in time, but we were still allowed to check in, which was really nice. If you came home late at night, there was security checking the area to make sure everything was okay. Just to clarify, the security was responsible for the general location, not specifically for the accommodation itself. Around the property, there are various things to do, like playing beach volleyball, and visiting bars and restaurants. Overall, the room was clean, and there was even room service. One small downside was that there were a few stains on the blanket cover. After requesting a new one, the replacement also had some stains. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great place to stay. Really clean and compact but has everything you need. The bed was comfortable. We really liked the cosy lounge and terrace for our morning coffee. The room was quite hot so air con would be good. The shower door is tricky to open with wet hands and the shampoo dispensers dont work very well. I didnt realise that you needed to provide photo id on check in.

No air conditioning made the room the hottest I have ever been in. There was a small electric fan but it didn’t make a great deal of difference. The room had excellent sound proofing and was an easy 5 minute walk from Canary Wharf tube station.

The property is nice, clean, metro station is really close by. Lots of places to eat and drink, all within walking distance however, it can get extremely loud at night, passed 2am.. and because the property has no AC you need to keep windows opened, making it difficult to get a goodnight's rest.

Great place and location. Everything is new, loved being able to sit on the roof terrace in the evening. My only complaint was about the check-in procedure, even though I’d booked and paid online ages ago I needed to produce phone ID in the form of a passport or driving licence. Never heard of this in my own country! , didn’t have either on me but had 2 debit cards in my name on me , that was refused. Thankfully I remembered that I had a railcard on my phone, that was acceptable . We found the whole process of check-in stressful as we didn’t know if we were going to be allowed to stay.

I stay at the Vertus Edit regularly when I am in London on business. The staff are always very friendly and helpful! The room is always spotless and I love the working space on the 12th floor. I highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Canary Wharf!

Property was fabulous - really clean, new, lovely. The initial receptionist was very brusque and bordering on rude (to everyone I witnessed coming in). This was an exception as the receptionist in the morning was really lovely and pleasant.

We had the most wonderful stay at Vertus Edit Canary Wharf. The part of our stay that really made it special was the wonderful staff. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble , we were always greeted with a smile, and a good morning. We stayed in London to go to see Abba Voyage and we were given lots of information and enthusiasm for the show from one of the gentleman members of staff ....thankyou so much !! The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to restaurants, shops , the tube & DLR, parks and green spaces. We stayed in a 'little studio' which was perfect for 2 people and had everything we needed including a great kitchen. Everything was immaculate. The outdoor spaces are just lovely and the complimentary hot drinks in the shared lounges were a lovely touch. Thankyou everyone at Vertus Edit , we would definately stay again when in London. Terena & Steve 😘xx

The property is new and very nice, there is a lot of building work surrounding the hotel which in all fairness was minimal noise and disruption other than the road closures on direct route to the hotel. The room was very small but comfortable. We had the heating off and window open all the time during the 3 days we were there, I would have not wanted to be there during warm weather, if the room had air conditioning we didn’t find it or how to use it. There is no information pack in the rooms. The problem we encountered was the tv didn’t work and the staff were most unhelpful, we reported this 5 times over 3 days and nothing was sorted and only 1 staff member apologised and was friendly (Simon ).

There are so many pros with the hotel it’s unfortunate I have to still post a negative. It’s beautiful, new (1yr) , fabulous location, right on the tube line, attentive staff, and has a cool rooftop terrace. The negative is the noise. There is a lot of construction in the courtyard and adjoining buildings. I can’t comprehend a new build with 12 floors not including aircon. The stagnant heat in the room was almost unbearable even when the window was open. I would definitely return when construction is over and not during the summer for sure.

Property is new and in great condition. Plenty of storage space in bedroom and bathroom, nice kitchen setup, comfortable bed. Only one tube stop from the O2 and like five stops from popular areas like Westminster or London Bridge via the Jubilee line. There is a really nice lounge on the top floor and there are also laundry facilities. £2 per wash and £1 per dryer load. Check in time wasn’t until 15:00 but my room was ready when I arrived at 12:30 and they checked me in.

My room was small, but very clean and comfortable. Short walk to underground station made this a great base for exploring the city. The area is quiet, but always has enough activity to feel safe. As a single traveler, I was perfectly comfortable walking after dark. Friendly staff made it a great place.

Great value for money. Great location, perfect for our needs. Friendly, helpful staff on 24hr reception desk. Very easy to find from the Elizabeth line exit as there are very clear signs to Vertus Edit all the way there

Great hotel with lovely staff. Room was nicely decorated, like the entire hotel. Good eco-credentials with toiletries in bathroom and cleaning products for kitchenette. Well stocked kitchenette in room. Enjoyed the communal space though had to nip down to get mug from my room as there were no clean ones. Pleasant scenic walk through Canary Wharf to access various public transport options.

We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time. Hotel was very clean and came with everything you may need (kitchen, utensils, lounge area, laundry room). It was well located - a couple minutes walk from the underground train. Would definitely come back.

A fantastic weekend stay in buzzing Canary Wharf, in a brand new aparthotel. We loved the facilities including communal, funky lounges and a terrace, with complimentary tea, coffee and ‘honesty’ groceries, ranging from ice-cream, gyozas, plant milks and pasta! I asked if they stocked salt and pepper and the manager on duty kindly gifted me a full, new tub of Cornish sea salt and new black pepper mill, both very gratefully received. There is a Morrisons very close by if you want to cook. We had a great, smaller studio room with full kitchen and appliances. The only hiccough was a problem with three safety lights which came on in the ceiling and couldn’t be re-set so we, unfortunately, had to move from our 11th floor room to the 4th floor at 11pm; we had been in bed! However, the staff were very apologetic and sorted it as quickly as possible. We will certainly return and recommend you to others - thanks so much, you’re doing a brilliant job, despite the minor teething problems!

If you came home late at night, there was security checking the area to make sure everything was okay. Just to clarify, the security was responsible for the general location, not specifically for the accommodation itself. Around the property, there are various things to do, like playing beach volleyball, and visiting bars and restaurants. Overall, the room was clean, and there was even room service. One small downside was that there were a few stains on the blanket cover. After requesting a new one, the replacement also had some stains. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

The hotel offers everything you need. There are many restaurants and shopping facilities in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended as a starting point to discover London, the underground station is not far away. Canary Wharf itself is also highly recommended, away from the hustle and bustle of central London, very clean and super nice. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic property and location. Very stylish and clean. Calm and quiet. The lounge and access to quality coffee/espresso whenever we wanted was much better than typical in room coffee machines. We will definitely stay here again!
