Stayed 2 nights

There was an awful smell out by our rooms. I asked what it was they said they were having sewer problems. Our toilet seat was broke. Our room was so small. There were so many parties going on I mean big loud parties . I was billed twice and had to fight that them to fix it with out being billed twice. I had to go a day early and could not get you to add to my reservation so I had to pay cash for it and charged 40.00 more. Then when I looked at my bank statement I was billed twice for Friday 130.00 and 230. 00 have not got that fixed yet. The whole experience was a nightmare..

Decent room (hard floors so much nicer than carpet) good bathroom, breakfast and parking. You need a car to stay here. In terms of layout it is more of a 2 floor motel but thankfully not on the roadside. Busy flyover on one side not too loud and rail tracks to the rear. I find rail activity quite restful, so the occasional toot through the night and rumble of trucks is actually a positive. Despite the relative remoteness, the hotel is steadily busy with a mixture of couples, families and people travelling for work. That makes for relatively quiet guests, as everyone has to get up early and work or go somewhere. Gas station 200 yards away. Road system means you are well connected to everywhere. Stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay again.

This is the best deal in Kansas City. Advantages: Inexpensive, clean rooms, VERY kind and helpful staff, amazing breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, eggs, make-your-own waffles, bagels, juice, coffee, Danishes, milk, biscuits and gravy, and probably some things I forgot!), convenient location, free early check-in (1:00pm). Disadvantages: Currently partially under renovation, across the street from a semi (tractor trailer) "graveyard", small rooms (which we don't actually mind), require a $100 deposit if booked through hotels.com (I probably should have seen that coming!).

The breakfast and couple staff members we spoke to were the only positives about this hotel. The pictures are very misleading. Upon arrival we were told that we had 15 minutes to let them know if anything was wrong with the room. Everytime we turned on the tub brown water would come out, the fridge didn’t work, at one point the door battery died and we were locked out of our room until we could change the batteries. Entrance 7, the door was broken so anyone could enter without a key. There were multiple people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot despite there being “onsite security”. There is no elevator so hopefully you don’t stay on the second floor.

Didn't stay because we never found your hotel. Thanks for charging us anyway for nothing! We drive around for 30 minutes trying to find it. We called your hotel and a young man was at the desk but didn't know how to give instructions to your property. He said he lives in Johnson county and takes East Front Street to get there. I reminded him NOT to charge our credit card, but did it anyway. How would you feel?
