After check in I was told my room was at the back of the hotel. I wasn't told which door to enter and when I found the right door the door handle was broken. The door glass was cracked and every time you enter you had to use your fingers to pry open the door. The door was not locked and anyone could enter. It was door number 2. The other doors needed door cards to open. The hotel staff was aware of this because they were going in and out the door. The hallways and room had a mildew smell to them. I had to get air fresher for the room. The room was not clean daily I only seen them cleaned after check out. Breakfast was okay but no proteins. The stay was okay. You get what you pay for.

Notified front desk an hour after checking in that our bathroom light was out and after 3 night stay he never had someone come fix it. Paint was chipped in multiple areas, and the pool wasn’t open for half my stay as advertised. I paid for a room to be in full working order and I did not receive that. Also still haven’t received my deposit back (isn’t even pending process) and I checked out over 12 hours ago and it’s almost 8 pm

smells horrible inside and out. The entrance we used the external lock did not work so lacking security and anyone could walk in. Did I mention it smelled terrible smoke urine feces pickle juice were just some the scents fighting for front row in my nose. Cigarette burns on the comforter in the non smoking room, holes in the walls barely patched up, mold in the tub. Not clean not safe don’t go here. Should not be listed on Expedia. Disappointed want a full refund checked in and out same day.

There was broken sidewalk and a construction vehicle when we arrived. We could not get into the building due to the card reader being ripped off and no door handles to grab to open the door. The bath tub coating was peeling off and rust running down from the drain. There is no hot tub as the pictures showed either. There were people working on the building while we were there, so maybe they are working to fix what was wrong. Our Uber driver made a comment that he did not even know the hotel was there.

Run down. Microwave not working. Pool had debris in it. Walls and fixtures missing paint. Ac wwas luke warm and never did gett cold. Neighborhood is sketchy at best. We left a day early and will not be back! Highly disappointed!!

Parking lot was not even attempted to be cleared of ice or snow. No ice melt put down on sidewalks or on lot. Wanted $10.00 for an extra key to the room. Also, an undisclosed (until time of check-in) $100.00 was charged for possible room damages. Our room was already damaged, it had bad patches in the ceiling, Tub and shower has rust on the outer edges. Cover to comforter had cigarette holes in it. Supposed to have been a NON-Smoking room, but it badly smelled of smoke (probably from the A/C - heater unit that evidently didn't get cleaned before changing to a NON-Smoking room. Rooms were relatively quiet. Continental breakfast was sad because nothing was kept warm or hot due to the coldness of the hallways and entry area. Absolutely no heat in the hallways. (Entry way is understandably colder because of doors) We will NOT be staying at this location again. Still waiting for my $100.00 that was taken at check-in. Immediately gets their money but takes 3 to 5 business days for me to get the refund..

The hotel was filthy, bathroom had rusted fixtures in shower, and the windows are covered in grime. The "breakfast" that was provided was practically non existent by 830am, even though it was supposed to go until 10. None of the employees refulled anything, and the cereal was all cross contaminated because none of dispensers worked and it was being scooped all by a measuring cup. Check out took forever because they went in back and just werent coming back for awhile. The neighborhood is falling apart trashed and feels very unsafe.

Avoid this filthy place! I cannot believe that they are allowed to operate! Burn holes in comforters. Spit on the walls. Floor was filthy. Not one clothes hanger in the closet. Headboards have boogers and who knows what else on them. The attached photos will tell the stories... Broken door. Broken toilet. Tub drain plugged. Hallways and stairwells haven't been cleaned in months.

Very smelly, no locks on outside doors. Could smell drugs. Blanket on bed had cigarette burn holes. Ceiling was dirty and falling apart. Bathtub was rusty. The security lock was gone from the inside of the door to the room. We did not end up staying.

Very lacklustre check in. Directed to an entry with a broken door. Our room smelled and had ants on floor from food and a half eaten packet of chips in the TV cabinet. The place was very rundown, walked past rooms with broken door/windows. Decided this was unsafe to stay as my child wanted to leave. Went to front desk and as we were not staying, they didn’t ask why they just said have a good day, I guess this happens a bit. Shane as we stayed at another Quality Inn and was a totally different experience.

The room was incredibly musty and humid. Since we were only going to stay for the night, we decided to lay down. But when going to place a phone on the nightstand, there was a juvenile mouse. We left immediately after.

The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet and it was easy access to Kauffman Stadium but those are the only positives. The shower head sprayed out of the top to the ceiling where it appeared there was black mold in addition the tub floor had nothing to keep it from being slick. My partner slipped in the tub and fell out of the shower! I have no idea how he didn’t hit the back of his head on the marble sink!! The carpet was sticky so I didn’t feel comfortable walking without shoes. Most of the outlets and two of the light (1 by the bed the other in the desk) did not work at all. The “hot breakfast was cold pancakes, a couple pastries, coffee, bottles juice and cereal. Very disappointed!

Our stay was good over all. The room was clean and we were able to pay a small fee to check in early. The office chair handle was broken, the toilet wasn’t very stable and pulled from the wall a bit, and the bathroom sink was missing a stopper.

I was surprised to learn, at check-in, that I was required to pay a $100 deposit. I told the clerk this was not mentioned on the website and asked for some proof this was an actual policy. He simply said it is the policy and it would be returned in "3-5 business days". That was 8 days ago, and it has not been returned. Second, I did notice the clerk was wearing a winter coat and the lobby was very cold (I think it was about 12° on Feb 20) but I was not expecting the Continental Breakfast to be cold. The pan, holding pancakes, was plugged in but the dial was set at 0. Good, thawed pancakes but a little warmth would have made them even better on that frigid day.

We booked through hotel.com to speed up the process when we would arrive at 2:00 am. Upon arrival I was told that I booked the wrong day....So okay just change it. Well they said that they could not so I booked a room anyway thinking that this would be an easy fix. Well it was not. No help from anyone.......So the hotel got paid twice for the room. Then at breakfast, everything was gone an hour before closing with no refills.. This would be good for truckers but not families.

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Arrived at 2:00 a.m. and the front desk demanded $100 deposit before we could get to a room. Absolutely. Nothing like the pictures. My friend and I checked in around 12am on 5/24/25. When we got in our room we had noticed the toilet had been used. First thought was oh I guess they didn’t clean it. We left for about 2.5 hours to celebrate my friends birthday. We left our bags and all of our belongings in our room. When we came back our card would not work to let us into the room and a couple answered the door. They had been given the same room as ours and were in the room with all of our belongings. We had gone to the front to request a refund so we could just leave as we didn’t feel safe and were unsure if our belongings were untouched. We were told the refund would be approved but we would have to reach out to Expedia in order to get our refund. I see no number or email to reach out to customer service. I am very unhappy with my experience.

The hotel lost power shortly after we checked in for a two-night stay, so we had to go somewhere else. The hotel has refused to answer the phone when I call, but will pick up when I have other people call (corporate office, etc). They’re now saying they can’t refund the first night because we checked in but not out. Of course we checked in. We had a reservation, and the building had power. When it was clear we needed to go somewhere else, I dropped our keys at the front desk and watched the attendant write down my name and number as well as give me the name of the manager (Neeraj) so we could get ahold of each other. I would consider that checking out. They don’t have record of my checking out because, again, no power, and they’re telling me there is no note about my leaving, even though I watched the guy at the front desk write it down.

WIFI didn't work, Pool was closed. I had to leave get a different hotel and tie up my whole Friday night on vacation on finding and driving to a different hotel. They cant/wont return my money still. The scanner to get into one of the entrances was broken. There was no power to the entire building, so no lights and no A/C. Someone also knocked on our door at 2am and when we answered there was no one there. There was an unexpected 100$ deposit for the room, and the entire building reeked of cigarette smoke. Do not stay here if you value your safety.

The worst part was a “worker” opened our room during the night. All we got was “I’m sorry” I asked for the manager. Refused to get the manager. Manager was suppose to call me and never called me. I knew that I was going to a cheap hotel, but I was taken back by after not having room service show until the third day, after me calling to ask for toilet paper. When I got there, there was about a half inch left in a roll, and so I called to request it. I was kind on my call, I work in service, and the guy was so rude I was a little shocked by it. He is first response was “well you’re going to have to come and get some then” literally. Then I told him I had to leave to go to work and didn’t have time and asked that housekeep (his department) just bring some when they turned down the room. His response was “do you want the toilet paper or not?” and was VERY aggressive. I bit my tongue but that pissed me off pretty bad. I returned from work late that night and my room had toilet paper. I stayed there 4 nights and never had my bed turned down. On the 4th night I got toilet paper, a new towel, and a bunch of attitude. Aside from the broken window screens laying all over the lawn, dead flies on my floor when i arrived. Horrible experience, the worst I’ve had in 24 years of travelling.

Hotel under renovation. Outside smelled like sewar, hallways smelled like pot. I had 4 rooms for 3 nights. Boys got in trouble for playning catch with a Nerf football in the courtyard area. Was there for Chiefs home opener. Stayed last year for 2 nights. Like the location for getting getting to the game but that was all. Key cards needed to be reset every morning. Next time will definitely stay somewhere that appreciates the business.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The room was adequate- basic and no complaints. The entire building smelled like smoke though. They have a list upon entering for costs of basic things you may have forgotten like toothbrush, razor, etc. they are reasonable. It seems like a place folks may be staying on a more long-term type basis. There was a gas station/convenience store nearby and a Waffle House but it’s in a somewhat industrial area and getting rides to and from the city across the river during peak hours - bars/shows/events can get pricey but are affordable if you plan ahead.

I would never stay here again. The area is very sketchy and I never felt safe while staying here. The hotel is at the end of a dead end road with closed businesses leading up to it. The main road needs heavy construction as it is extremely bumpy to where you have to drive 10mph under. There is a railroad nearby which you will hear. The railroad brings a homeless community nearby as well. The entire property is worn down and needs a total overhaul/renovation. On the outside it is dimly lit. The parking lot lights were half not working or barely working. Once you set foot inside the building it smells of heavy smoke. The paint on the walls is chipping, patches of the ceiling is missing, dirty carpet, rust in the bathroom, broken lampshades, window/door frame borders coming off, etc. my room didn’t have the heavy smoke smell but did have a strong musky smell. I stayed here for 3 nights and every night other guests would be up late partying until 3am or so with loud music. I wish I would have stayed in a more quiet and safer area.

Is says includes breakfast, breakfast was terrible, not a single fresh fruit, the stale coffee was either too concentrated or burnt, room conditions were bad, card key entrance to a side of the hotel was inactivated, so anyone could get in. Room was smashed and the whole hotel smells like cigarette. Not coming back.

The hotel carpet is filthy. The bathtub was dirty when we checked in. They didn’t clean our room when we left for the day. When I went to get clean towels they only wanted to give me one and we had 2 adults and 2 children in our room! They said they were short on towels. If they had someone cleaning the rooms and collecting the dirty towels and washing them it would be no shortage. The free breakfast is a joke. The “free” breakfast is pancakes, oatmeal, pastries, juice, coffee, tea, and water!

The hotel is very dated and needs some renovations. I had a room with two double beds. The mattresses were very soft. When I asked if he had a room with a bed with a firmer matters he told me he couldn't do that since I have used the room. The bathtub has enamel peeled off badly and there is rust around the drain and faucet. The complimentary breakfast had ceral etc. and pancakes. There were no other hot items and NO COFFEE!
