Homewood Suites Lexington-Hamburg

When we travel - we always look for a Homewood Suites. The property was excellent as usual. The suite was excellent except for the bed. The mattress was old, soft & saggy & for a king size bed - it needs king size sheets. Really miss the weeknight social - seems to onlybe on Wednesday - which we did not stay on Tuesday or Wednesday night

We enjoy our stay here. During the year we stay about 4-6 times with our small dog. There have never been any problems, it is close to restaurants and gas stations.

Room was very nice and extremely clean. Area was very quiet and safe.

Staff was nice, however on the morning after we checked in we complained about our AC not functioning well. Maintenance came to check it that morning and tried to fix it, but said if we continued to have issues to request a window AC. The next morning it was still doing the same thing so we complained and were told they had no maintenance on staff that day, that they could not give us a window AC, and all the could give us was a box fan (which had no legs to stand on so we could not aim it towards our bed). We were also told we could not get a refund, not even partial to leave early as we were told we could not move rooms either. I will also add that I am 7 months pregnant and this made this stay less than comfortable.

Great location near I75, large, comfortable room, good amenities, close to shopping and good restaurants
