We enjoyed our stay at the white buck. The hotel rooms were spacious and quiet with good amenities. An amazing shower! Enjoyed the bar area with board games. Only downside was the quality of the food. It had good potential but just not cooked well. Although they were really good with allergies.

Plenty of space in restaurant & bar areas to eat, drink & relax. Stayed in a Junior Suite that was spacious & good value for money. Breakfast choice was varied & excellent. Stayed 3 nights & was happy with a different choice every morning.

Fantastic gem of a hotel! Really relaxed and chilled atmosphere. Super friendly staff! Loads of lovely little touches all over the place to make your stay feel personal! Good solid food too and not crazy expensive. Right in the middle of the beautiful New Forest! Well done everyone involved in running this hotel!

A lovely property, currently under renovation so the exterior was a bit untidy. However, my room was very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful time at this inn, I was amazed by various little touches and extra steps the staff go through vs. a regular hotel chain hotel. It's not just dog friendly, it's fully set up and incredibly attentive to dog needs. The location was perfectly central to the New Forest and a nice short walk from Burley Village, beautiful location and excellent stay. Pub food was lovely, higher-than-normal-end dining, but poor value for money in terms of portion sizes.

We had a fabulous time at the White Buck. It was nestled in the middle of the New Forest , with ponies everywhere. The building is full of character and our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was good. We are in the restaurant on both nights and the food and presentation was excellent . Will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. So Christmassy but even other times of year so cosy felt homely. Reception was very welcoming room was decorated lovely and really felt like a retreat away from it all. Fires and Christmas trees . We ate in the restaurant and all the food was hot and delicious. Location was very central for village visits and walks it was tough to choose whether to go out for walks or just stay in the hotel and relax. We are already planning our next trip back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Buck, it was very relaxing, very dog friendly, good food, pleasant staff. Shall definitely return. Easy reach to lots of beautiful walks in the forest.

The hotel is lovely and so is the pub garden and location. What spoilt it for us were the attitude of the senior staff on both the Saturday and Sunday. On two occasions we were over charged for someone else’s drinks and on both occasions we were made to feel like we were trying to get out of paying for a round of drinks when we had either paid already (and showed them the receipts for) or someone else’s drinks had been allowed to be added to our room. Spoilt what was supposed to be a birthday weekend

We stayed in a cosy room which was definitely snug. As we were at the top it meant that the room was boiling hot during the night. The cleanliness wasnt that great as the toilet wasnt cleaned before we checked in, the table was all stained from tea/coffee rings and there was a dead wasp on the sill that wasnt cleared away the whole time we were there. However it is a pet friendly place so would work well if you have a pet (we did not!)

Came down for a wedding nearby and stayed at the white buck. The location in the new forest is lovely. The room was lovely, clean and well equipped. The food was delicious (surf and turf) The staff were all very helpful throughout. Dawn and Julie made getting up for breakfast a pleasure. Little touches like the milk in the fridge upstairs really did it for me as i love cold milk. Will defo be returning for a longer visit.

Room needs an update. Numerous marks on the carpet and mould in the shower. Couldn’t accommodate 4 people for drinks in the evening as we weren’t dining there even though it’s supposed to be a pub.

Great overnight stay at the White Buck. Lovely room, booked an Indulgence Room but kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite. Enjoyed Sunday lunch and breakfast the following morning, all food excellent.

Lovely room and stay in this charming place. Food was great too. We were in room 1, which was great. Luckily though I have ear plugs as without them my sleep would have been disturbed as it is next to the ventilation extraction from the kitchen, which was a little noisy. Maybe supplying ear plugs would be a good idea?

Loved this hotel (and right near a golf course)! We had a huge room for 3 people. Very comfortable and large bathroom. The only negative was the see through bathroom door. Enjoyed the food and very friendly helpful staff.

Beautiful room, beautiful hotel. Much bigger than I expected from the pictures. Lovely warm, friendly atmosphere. Was only there for a night but wished I could have stayed longer

Absolutely amazing stay at the White Buck for a weekend getaway. The service was terrific, the food, the drinks, the room, everything was spot on. We will definitely return and will also recommend - this is a pub done right.

The room was excellent in every way. The breakfast was very, very good. The dinner, unfortunately, was not. They brought the wrong order and by the time they had corrected that the other order was cold and unappetizing. They apologized but did not make any effort to compensate in any way. They marred our 45th anniversary dinner.

The White Buck was our first Fullers managed hotel and we were impressed with the service provided. Our reception host, Jenni, was attentive and helpful. We were placed in one of the external rooms which was fine, quiet and spacious. Food in the restaurant was a good standard, traditional modern pub food. We really liked the surrounding area and would certainly chose to start at The White Buck when we return.

We had an upgrade which we really appreciated. The room was quirky, old yet trendy appliances, lovely. The service was faultless and the staff couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast staff were particularly diligent, especially Jenny who was so attentive and thoughtful to our wishes. We will definitely return!

Fantastic gem of a hotel! Really relaxed and chilled atmosphere. Super friendly staff! Loads of lovely little touches all over the place to make your stay feel personal! Good solid food too and not crazy expensive. Right in the middle of the beautiful New Forest! Well done everyone involved in running this hotel!

Lovely hotel hidden away in the woods. Room lovely and comfortable and dinner was gorgeous. Our second stay and definitely not our last.

We had a wonderful time at this inn, I was amazed by various little touches and extra steps the staff go through vs. a regular hotel chain hotel. It's not just dog friendly, it's fully set up and incredibly attentive to dog needs. The location was perfectly central to the New Forest and a nice short walk from Burley Village, beautiful location and excellent stay. Pub food was lovely, higher-than-normal-end dining, but poor value for money in terms of portion sizes.

We had a fabulous time at the White Buck. It was nestled in the middle of the New Forest , with ponies everywhere. The building is full of character and our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was good. We are in the restaurant on both nights and the food and presentation was excellent . Will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. So Christmassy but even other times of year so cosy felt homely. Reception was very welcoming room was decorated lovely and really felt like a retreat away from it all. Fires and Christmas trees . We ate in the restaurant and all the food was hot and delicious. Location was very central for village visits and walks it was tough to choose whether to go out for walks or just stay in the hotel and relax. We are already planning our next trip back

Great overnight stay at the White Buck. Lovely room, booked an Indulgence Room but kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite. Enjoyed Sunday lunch and breakfast the following morning, all food excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at the white buck. The hotel rooms were spacious and quiet with good amenities. An amazing shower! Enjoyed the bar area with board games. Only downside was the quality of the food. It had good potential but just not cooked well. Although they were really good with allergies.

Plenty of space in restaurant & bar areas to eat, drink & relax. Stayed in a Junior Suite that was spacious & good value for money. Breakfast choice was varied & excellent. Stayed 3 nights & was happy with a different choice every morning.

Came down for a wedding nearby and stayed at the white buck. The location in the new forest is lovely. The room was lovely, clean and well equipped. The food was delicious (surf and turf) The staff were all very helpful throughout. Dawn and Julie made getting up for breakfast a pleasure. Little touches like the milk in the fridge upstairs really did it for me as i love cold milk. Will defo be returning for a longer visit.

The room was excellent in every way. The breakfast was very, very good. The dinner, unfortunately, was not. They brought the wrong order and by the time they had corrected that the other order was cold and unappetizing. They apologized but did not make any effort to compensate in any way. They marred our 45th anniversary dinner.

Lovely beer garden, good pub food and great breakfast. Staff was very nice. We stayed in their cheapest room and it needs a refurb. You can see the property was refurbished few years ago but it now needs some work and paint.
