servicdee at front desk was great. We had trouble with internet for 4 of 5 days there. breakfast was better than some, was the same each day. The bath tub spout needs work, it is loose from the wall, room handicap 223 or close, as you get off elev. first room to the right. Other than that, no complaints.

Children running on the floor above us early in the morning and late at night. The day check in clerk was very sweet and helpful. The night one was grouchy. The attendant in the breakfast room didn't refill the bacon/sausage. The pool was green on both days we were there.

First started off with going to my room and someone being in there already! That’s is a huge mistake to make. How do you double book rooms?! Then I go to the front desk and let them know of THEIR mistake and she then gives me a different room NOT what I booked for. I booked and PAID FOR a king bed SUITE and ended up getting a double bed non suit with no sofa as we were there for a travel baseball tournament and had kids with us. I went and told the girl that checked us in and she did NOT accommodate us. Didn’t even offer any kind of compensation, discount, nothing! Several parents that booked with their kids had issues with their rooms smelling like mold and could barely breathe in the rooms. Pool was closed. Food was terrible. I would NOT recommend staying here. And I will be calling corporate! The whole double booking was such a huge mistake! Especially in a world we live in. Had the people been protecting themselves, this could have had a very different/terrible outcome!! Very unacceptable!!

Parking was not the safest looking at night with people walking around from the Cracker Barrel parking lot. Didn't feel the safest there. The room smelled of mold, and the card readers would work about 1 out of 8 times. Not the best, not the worst either. The shower was great, and the room was fine, except for the smell.

We were there for five days. Not sure if the pool or the pool area was even cleaned once. I enjoy a swimming pool at every hotel I go to. Not this one. I’m sure there’s plenty of pool cleaning services down in Florida.

Disgusting condition of room. The rug looks like a crime scene with not tape. Shower was not cleaned from last guest. Their shampoo was still in there and nasty soap scum. The couch and chairs look like they were used in an x rated movie. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The only thing good was the staff at the desk. Very nice people. The manager obviously does not tour the rooms. I’ve stayed here at least 5 times but no more.

We tried to cancel the booking as soon as we arrived. The entire 3rd floor smelled like smoke, the shower floor was filthy, the “heated” pool was freezing and needed cleaning. Service was nonexistent. Overall the hotel is old and run down. Not worth the money.

Shower door was rusty and wouldn’t close all the way leaving 2 inch gap. Roaches in the bathroom I saw several on two different nights. Air conditioner didn’t seem to work properly at all. Breakfast foods were not refilled when supply was low. I stayed here because I had a positive stay at Sleep Inn in Clearwater but would not recommend this place to anyone.

Room seemed quiet even though you could see the interstate. It wan’t until people above decided to practice their clog dancing and a dog started barking in the early morning hours that we became disturbed with the room. Needless to say poor night’s sleep before 3 1/2 hours drive home.

This room was not as good as the last one we stayed in three weeks earlier. The room had a stale, musty odor. The bathroom needed a refresh. There was a lot of noise from running water and load tv/music. This room was on the first floor. Three weeks previously we were on the third floor. It was nice and quiet. We were surprised this room wasn’t the same. It is very convenient to walk to Cracker Barrel next door and a short drive to Punta Gorda airport.

I checked in on Wednesday stayed thru Friday. My room was never cleaned. I ran out of towels and toilet paper, I had to get it from house keeping. I was told at the front desk my room would be clean. The room keys kept losing the code I had to come three times to get them programed. Black mold in the bathroom, I have photos.

The stay was restful and much needed. Checking was easy and quick. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful with towels. All but one of the desk people was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The one with the really long dark pony tail needs to find a different job if she hates this one so bad, she was my only negative attitude. There are lots of folks with pets visiting so it may not be for you if you dont like dogs. The waffels in the breakfast room are a good reason for waking up in time to eat.

From the moment, I walked in to lobby for check in the front desk associate, Shannon, was unfriendly and rude. When I arrived to my room, there were cockroaches crawling EVERYWHERE. I went to the front desk, again with the very rude clerk Shannon, to request a new room and was told, “There can’t be cockroaches. Someone stayed in that room last night.” I had pictures and videos and she stated there was no need. She could cancel my reservation and I could leave because there were no other rooms available. I asked to speak with a manager and with an attitude was told there was no manager there at the time and there was no on call manager. I left the hotel immediately and because I booked through hotels.com I lost $220. I travel 3-4 times a week for work and have never experienced what I experience last night. Absolutely disgusting room and even nastier customer service.

Desk clerks were helpful and nice. Breakfast was sparse and only open from 6:30am to 9:30am so you can't sleep in. Elevator was old and clunky and slow. Beds were comfortable but old. If I had to stay there again I would as I feel the price of the room aligned with the services.

We stay here every couple of months and everything is always fine. I was surprised with how bad the walk in shower in room 309 was. The shower door does not close correctly so when you shower water leaks out all over the bathroom floor. You could even see water damage around the shower borders. Again I’ve never experienced this at this hotel before and was surprised to see. On a positive note breakfast was good , bed comfortable, room was clean and staff was helpful. Walkable distance to Cracker Barrel which is always nice.

We spent 6 nights in a king room with the sofa bed. Very spacious and so nice to sit on a sofa at night to watch tv. The staff was so friendly. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. I'd definitely stay again.
