Nice hotel, with mostly friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms, clean and had everything you needed. Note that when booking through Expedia it says the standard rooms don’t have tea/coffee in the room, they do, so don’t be fooled into paying more for the room that states it has tea/coffee in the room. There was ample car parking spots and very reasonably priced at £7 for the night. Located a 10-15 minute drive from Windsor which is a lovely place to visit.

This is the first time we have stayed with a Holiday Inn and things we going well until this morning. We woke up to find many guests in the car surveying their broken into cars. Not one or two but at least around 10-15 of them. This is the second guest car break in within the last couple of days at least to our knowledge. Although the car park is onsite it is not secure hence how thiefs on bikes were able to come in and smash car windows to steal from vehicles. Although we were lucky and our car was untouched those next to us were not and there was visable evidence of someone wiping the back windows to look inside. You really do park there at yoir own risk.

Great service from staff, good clean comfortable rooms, great food. Only downside is that my car was broken into and the catalytic converter cut off. CCTV in car park, but does it work? Who monitors at night? No security gate at entrance. Was told that 3 other vehicles were broken into on the same night. Also another guest said that during the week others were reported. The area is renowned for this issue and the holiday inn chain fails to ensure a safe place to park, even putting a controlled entry exit point would be a start. Such a shame as a great stay was spoilt by criminals

The rooms are tired and dated. The chair at the desk was knackered, I couldn't use it. Only half of the lamps in the room worked, and the bulbs are the horrible fluorescent type. Why haven't they replaced them with LED's. And another hotel where you got to be careful with car parking , or you get a ticket from , none other than Parking Eye !

There were a couple negatives to note about this accommodation, 1) we found some carpet beetles in our room, they can be an hitchhiking pest, and they're often a sign that carpets aren't vacuumed well enough. 2) there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. 3) the air conditioner didn't work, and the duvet was quite heavy so it was too warm at night.

The staff were lovely, really made the children especially feel welcome. We really appreciated the activity packs, ty, it was a lovely touch and kept them busy. Hotel room was very clean, comfortable beds and very quiet.

This property is in bad condition. My door to the room will not close and the bed was dirty; the towels were dirty and the shower was broken. They showed me how to open and close the door instead of putting me in a different room. It was a terrible experience.

The room was a decent size and the air-con was most welcome on the hottest day of the year. Decent storage area for bags etc. Minor gripes - the mattress was far too soft (this is obviously a question of personal taste) and there was no fridge in the room, so unable to keep any drinks cold. Breakfast is tasty with good options. Location just off M4 so perfect for accessing Heathrow/Windsor etc.

Room was very cold on arrival, only had one gown in premier room which we were told is all you get, dusty lamps, cracked sink and floor extractor fan working in bathroom. Unable to use lift on our floor to go down. Breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful, thought we were staying in a sound proof room, but could hear planes and road on the 8th floor!

Booked a queen room thinking it would be more comfortable. I was next to the stairs and woken by the lift each time it was used. Bathroom could do with updating and topping up the supplies would also be a great idea. Power supply next to bed didn’t work in one side. Sleep was the biggest thing for me.

Room 303 was right next to the lifts so noisy until last person in their room at night. Hotel is a bit is tired and needs updating. Staff are friendly, although the chap on reception did forget to order out taxi, we jad allowed enough time, so no problem on this occasion.

The room was ok but a bit dated as there were no usb ports or sockets beside the bed. The bathroom's extraction system didn't appear to be working and it was impossible to use the mirror for shaving or makeup. The breakfast was not worth the money being charged

Out of all the check-in experiences I've had around the globe, this has to be the worst ever. We arrived at the hotel around 12:45am The bloke who checked us in, hardly spoke fluent English to say the least, which I don't have issues with TBH, even though we are in England. Anyway, he made me sign the entry document, it clearly had somebody else's name and address on it, but this guy was adamant that I sign it and put my vehicle registration number on the paperwork. I obliged, he gave us a room card. We went to the room, doors not opening. So went back down, he gave us another card. Back up again, guess what? Not opening. Slightly pissed off now, considering we had our 3 year old with us who desperately needed a nappy change, I went back down for the 3rd time. This time, the Nightshift manager came out of the back office & apologised, gave me a 3rd card and said he will come up with us. He walked us to the door, inserted the card, the light went green, I opened the door, guess what? There were a couple fast asleep in the room. Unbelievably embarrassing for us and them. Anyway, red faced the manager came back down with us. Took them another 15 minutes to give us another room. Truly terrible situation

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a lovely lady who was kind and polite.She gave my daughter a colour set which was a nice touch.We mentioned it was my partners birthday as she was asking about our day so she then gave him a voucher for a free drink which again was a nice thing to do. Our room was really nice, spacious and clean. Then we went to get some food, it was very busy. There seemed to be 3 people serving. We ordered food on the tablet provided. However the food took almost an hour to arrive, they brought some meals out then to waiters were serving other tables their meals,then 10 minutes later they arrived with our last meal.My pizza was luke warm and half the cheese on top had not melted properly, we couldn't find anyone to ask for some help with this.My daughter wanted a dessert but again trying to find someone to order this was impossible. My partner waited at the kitchen door to catch someone coming out, she came to our table to check which icecream so I asked her how long it would take, she said 10 minutes, the kitchen is very busy.I asked for it straight away we had waited so long for the food and my daughter needed to go to bed.She brought it within about 5minutes so that was better.She told us we would need to pay downstairs due to the free drinks voucher as she knew nothing about that. This took sometime. No apologies for the late food. They were just massively understaffed but communicating this would be better, make people aware of the wait.

The service really was outstanding at the hotel. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and because I had a very early morning flight, she arranged for a breakfast to go! It was so perfect for my family. We needed some additional sheets and they got them to us quickly. We were given plenty of towels as I have 3 kids. The only problem is the room. Although the toilets are renovated and in good condition, the exhaust fan wasn't working. In the room we had a very difficult time sleeping because the AC wasn't working. It was running,just not cooling! Which made for a difficult night for my family. London is generally not used to the heat, so when it does get hot, there doesn't seem to be a good infrastructure to deal with it.
The service really was outstanding at the hotel. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and because I had a very early morning flight, she arranged for a breakfast to go! It was so perfect for my family. We needed some additional sheets and they got them to us quickly. We were given plenty of towels as I have 3 kids. The only problem is the room. Check-in was definitely not hassle free. After being told I need to pay at the hotel for my booking and the following 15 minutes of them double checking that I had in fact paid in advance through expedia, I was given an apology. I checked in at 4pm only to be told the room was not ready, even though check-in is at 3pm. The bedroom mattress was as thick as a pancake and uneven, the bathroom was shabby, and the extraction fan did not work. Thankfully, I was only there for 1 night, I will not be visiting this establishment again.

We visited for our youngests daughters 5th birthdya trip to Legoland. The hotel was brilliant in location and the staff couldn't have been more lovely/helpful the entire stay. I emailed the night before our visit to ask if they might be abke to pop a birthday message in the room. They went abjve and beyond and blew up balloons and wrote a birthday card and laid out chocolates on the bed on a smiky face shape. So kind! Sana at breakfast and in the restaraunt was particularly lovely and caring/helpful. As were the reception ladies giving the children activities to do and the prize was HI money to hand over at the bad for some sweeties. Everyone at the hotel were wonderful. The only exception being a male bar man who was rude and unhelpful but when another staff memeber noticed, she continued the amazing level of customer service and kindness on his behlaf. Wonderful hotel. Shout out to Sana! Lovely stay! Thank you! :D

Check in was really poor, no one on reception queues of people waiting and when she finally came out of the back office there was no apology for making everyone wait. I was ask the same questions over and over it was like she wasn’t listening.

Excellent breakfast buffet, plenty of choice. Comfortable, clean, quiet, modern room. Nice shower. Not many amenities close to hotel, long walk into Slough town centre and train station. Local area didn't feel particularly safe or pleasant.

Holiday Inn Slough is fine - just as we expected. It is priced accordingly. Not a convenient location - we ended up taking several taxis to Windsor and the airport.

Really great welcome - fast and efficient check in. Rooms were very clean albeit some parts needing a lick of paint/patch up, but that was minor. We enjoyed our stay here, and really inexpensive compared to hotels in Windsor. Very short drive to Windsor Castle.

Stayed here as it was near to Legoland. It was also only a few minutes drive to Slough train station which is where we parked for 7 hours for only £8.00. We got the train into Paddington and then to South Kensington to take the kids to the National History Museum. Location couldn’t have been better! Service at the hotel was excellent from the minute we arrived. Rooms were comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. Restaurants for breakfast and dinner were good and reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Legoland.

Lovely hotel and staff. Very clean and very good service. Downside is the surrounding area is not very pleasant. Transport to other places is limited. Public transport is quite a walk away.

The hotel was good, clean, staff friendly, room was nice also. The food prices are ridiculous though. The only downside to the stay. Food wasn’t great but the prices were ridiculous. All in all though good stay. Just wouldn’t eat In restaurant again 😅

Overall it was a nice stay.was not a fan of the food ordering system, all on line , no opportunity to make specific request for meals. Also was a little disappointed that we were 4 minutes late down to breakfast and we couldn't sit down. Had to take food to room. With 2 kid's with us we thought there could have been a little leeway given

Always fab stay. Excellent staff who have been there years. So it must be a good working environment. Breakfast was hectic to say the least being half term, but food was constantly being replenished and tables cleared, alway helps when there is plenty of staff working the shift. Well done

Stayed as a stop-over for Legoland. Great location 5 minutes to Legoland. Had a family room with 2 double beds which was very spacious and a great bathroom. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good with everything you would need. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was only average. Would stay at the hotel again but not eat n the restaurant.

Hotel was nice and staff friendly enough, we ate in the restaurant and where told that the kids eat for free but as the adult meals where so expensive there wasn’t actually any saving in the price of a family meal, also there was a compulsory service charge added to the meal of 10% that covered any cost of the child’s meals There was air con in the room which was good but would have liked to seen a fridge in it too as we had no where to keep our children’s milk cold There was good parking but the hotel also charged £7 per night parking charge which I think if your staying at the hotel should be covered in the price of the accommodation

The hotel is desperately in need of a full refurb. The rooms are run down and poorly maintained, far too many issues to list. My air con was next to useless and was dripping water all over the carpet. The first room I was allocated had the contents from someone's nose spread all over the bedside lamp and a shelf propped up next to the bed. The lady on reception was no use at all and I think the only phrase she knew was "Im very sorry about that" The breakfast was OK but there was no coffee or tea bags available with caffeine, they only had decaf. All in all a very expensive and disappointing stay. I did try to sort the issues whilst I was there but as I have already mentioned the "Im very sorry about that" was all I was getting so I paid my bill and left.

The hotel was conveniently placed for what we needed. But it is not maintained. Very dirty. My friend walked into her room and had bogies on the lampshade and wall. She got moved to another room which was better. My room which was premium so this included a mini cooler. Wasn’t working. So I changed rooms. My next room the cooler was the same.
