Lovely small hotel with a terrific adjoining restaurant in Main St. Oranmore. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, our room was big and the bed very comfortable. It was a weekend so a bit noisy out front so would recommend a room away from the main street. Parking was a bit tricky as the area is shared with the restaurant users but I always found a space. The restaurant was great, unique Italian menu, food superbly cooked and presented and the service was brilliant. Great for breakfast too! The only problem we had during our. 3 night stay was that most of the room lights didn’t work, we got no explanation as to why and there was no attempt to fix them whilst we were there.

Unique hotel with a car park & excellent Italian restaurant. No a/c so it was very hot in the room & with the restaurant below we couldn't open the window much, but the hotel did supply a fan. The town had several dining options with a great coffee place across the street.

Clean but small room adjacent to the cemetery was quite a fun experience. Staff was great and the breakfast option worked well with our schedule. Only one small item worth the outlet for the hair dryer being too far to use with the one available mirror. Also very limited parking (first come first served)

The property is in the middle of a super fun area filled with great bars and restaurants. It seemed like many locals loved the area and several bars had live music! The parking was extremely limited and we had to park on the street the last night but it was only a short walk to the hotel and was free, so not terribly inconvenient. Highly recommend!

No water! We Stayed two days and on the second day the water stopped working. I was in the middle of a shower with a head full of shampoo. My husband ran down to the desk to see if there was another unit we could use the shower. No water at all! So I waited in the shower for 45 mins hoping for the water to turn back on and nothing. We packed up and headed out to rent another room so I could get shampoo out of my hair and the husband and daughter could shower and have bathroom facilities . I understand things happen but was is upsetting is there is no desk staff half the time. When we left the desk staff was gone, I had to go into the restaurant next door looking for someone and eventually left the key. I sent them two messages and waited for a response hoping they would correct this before I did my review and no response as I should recess credit for the one day as I had to go to another hotel and of course no response. Poor customer service they received their money and then don’t care.

Room was clean and fairly spacious bed comfortable The plug in the bathroom was stuck and was full of water so we had to brush teeth over the bath we did report it but we only dyed one night so don’t know if it got fixed We were woken up really early by barrels being loaded and unloaded as we were at the front of hotel really noisy Had a nice meal in the restaurant

Comfortable, clean and quiet boutique hotel with great made to order breakfast! Each room is named and the hotel does a wonderful job of mixing old world charm with new amenities. Lovely outdoor patio area to enjoy off first floor of rooms — if the weather cooperates.

We booked 2 of the same rooms. One was very large and the other was tiny. When we noticed the difference, we brought it up and were told they were sold out. The large room bathroom was ridiculous. We used the shower and the water poured out and flooded the bathroom. We used our towels and needed more but the front desk was closed. This was at 9 pm. The bathroom had mold and the toilet seat kept slipping off. I don’t know how this hotel has an 8.8 rating. Tried to take a shower the next day and tried everything to keep the water in the shower but there is no way to contain it.

This was right in the heart of a quaint little town. Walking distance to a grocery store. Not the biggest room and it was super noisy at 5am with them taking out trash and glass breaking from multiple trips with dishes right outside our window. Cozy place but would likely choose elsewhere next time.

The room we had was in the attic with sloping ceilings, so half the room cannot be used. At 1am other guests came back and woke everybody up- I don’t think there are any staff there overnight- although at 7am there was a lot of furniture being moved/dragged along the floor- again waking everyone up. It should be made clear that this is not a hotel in the conventional sense but rooms above a bar and restaurant

It was convenient to get to, and luckily there was parking available when we arrived. Restaurant was decent, rooms were fine but felt smaller on the 2nd level due to the sloped ceilings. Front desk staff seem to also work in the restaurant so you may have to wait for service.

My wife and I stayed at this property for one night during our trip around Ireland. The room was small, with two separate beds and a compact bathroom, but it provided everything we needed. The heating worked well, which was a welcome detail considering the weather on the day of our arrival. The reception staff were friendly, and the private parking within the hotel grounds was definitely an advantage. What I found surprising, however, was the hotel’s policy of requesting debit or credit card details including the CVC code at check-in, supposedly as security against potential damages. I declined to provide the CVC code, as this is essentially the same as handing over the full card and PIN. The receptionist then called the manager, whose reaction was rather unpleasant. He insisted that “this is Ireland” and that such practice is standard in all Irish hotels. When I asked for a refund so that we could look for alternative accommodation, he eventually softened his approach and admitted that this information was not actually necessary. It is worth noting that no other hotel in Ireland, or elsewhere in the world, has ever required me to provide such sensitive information, and I find it difficult to understand why this property would. This experience is the main reason for my lower rating.

We had a great stay here whilst settling our daughter into her student accommodation at ATU. Coach House Hotel will definitely be our first choice the next time we travel to Galway to visit our daughter. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food, service and atmosphere was super.

Great location outside of Galway. Bus into Galway comes every 30 minutes and the bus stop is right across the street. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is excellent.

This hotel was lovely. The room was large, very clean and quiet. We were facing the street and didn't even hear the garbage collector. We ate dinner and breakfast in the bistro. Good food and good service. The only negative was parking. The hotel had very limited parking lot behind the hotel that required negotiating down a narrow portico and making a sharp left hand turn into a back lot. We were fortunate to get a small space as someone was just leaving. Pretty tight!

We loved the charming room, everything felt very clean and tidy, yet homey. The only things that would have made this better, would be a fan for the room as it was very hot at night. Also, some sort of shuttle to Galway 1-2 times per day or a more reliable bus time table. We tried using google to get bus times, but found that buses were generally quite late or just didn’t show at all. Bus drivers were helpful once you did find a bus :) The community of Oranmore has everything you need, though. A quick walk gets you to the cute castle and some Nice water views. The restaurant was amazing, especially for dinner. Beautiful, helpful staff, amazing Italian food (even compared to what we had been eating in Rome and Venice).
