Good value hotel right next to the train station, paid parking available locally. I stayed two nights and the hotel offered me a free drink at the bar if i didn't want housekeeping. I was glad to accept.

Great location for station and nightlife. Hotel staff are fantastic and professional. Hotel is a little dated (old bathrooms etc), I would say 3* but with some investment this place could be fantastic. You can tell some money has been spent with carpeting and general maintenance. Convenient car park adjacent.

All good. The parking is slightly odd. It’s at the back of the hotel down an alley. Whilst a sign is clear in daylight at 2300 it’s obscure I’m afraid. The hel and breakfast are great as is the parking just the direction signs

the hotel is dated, the room they gave me wasn't adequate, sheets on the bed wasn't 100% clean, tied and dirty, had to change the room. taps had no heads on, bathroom suite was from the 1970s

Stayed here for two nights. And it met all my needs. Bed was super comfy and the room was cleaned to a high standard. There's only three things that would have made it better. 1) The shower didn't produce and hot water. 2) The Hairdryer didn't work. 3) The club music from other venues could be heard so clearly on a Saturday night until 2am, but I understant that can't be changed and didn't entierly put me off.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff , the first thing that I noticed was the entrance looking down , it looked amazingly clean and welcoming. The lift was on the left side soon as you walk in which makes it easier to locate , our room was clean and has comfortable beds and was very roomy , the bathroom was spacious and clean , the staff that clean the rooms do an amazing job , we had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again .

The bathroom was a tad dated but obviously due to the age of the hotel. We stayed mid week so no problems with noise etc. The hotel is ideally sited within 2 min walk from the station. Would definitely stay here again.

Single room on the top floor. 306 I believe. - you can only get under the shower head if you are below 5ft tall. I’m 6’2. - you hear every word of the tannoy from the train station next door from 6am onwards. Good wake up call if you want to be up that early, I don’t.

Decent place for a stop over, right next to railway station. Plenty of food options and shopping area is literally 5 mins walk. Sleep quality is okay, bathroom small and manageable, did not try the food. Easy check-in, checkout. No air-conditioning as it is supposed to be cold all the time but unfortunately felt the heat during the stay.

The room was a good size and was very functional, although I couldn't get the shower to run hot water, but the bath would, so a bath it was. A little bit noisey but not bad. Bed was a bit hard. Great location.

This has obviously has money spent on updating since I last stayed here. Was very impressed that they had a promotion about not changing Towels and you get a free drink. Service was just about Average reported TV not working and Window stuck open and nobody dealt with it in three days. Checking out got attitude from reception and when asked to buy was told bar was closed as I was now non guest (by same lady foing my check out.

Hotel well positioned for the station. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, a pity they don't do evening meals but the lady on reception said this might be in the pipeline which would be nice as the bar and restaurant very pleasant. Good value one night stay.

Reasonably priced and ideal for city centre.The lobby was lovely and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was acceptable if a little tired. We went to the bar and ordered some drinks,the red wine had been open too long and was off and there was no ice,this may sound picky but when I am paying premium prices for drinks I expect them to be right. Maybe a bit more training for your bar staff would help

The hotel is in a great location, near rail and bus stations. The room was spacious and had hairdryer, iron, ironing board, fan etc. The toiletries provided were lovely. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Traditional old hotel, very clean and excellent staff. Room was large and comfy bed, breakfast nice choice and plentiful food. Only complaint was that we stayed at weekend and noisy outside until small hours from people gathering at taxi rank nearby hotel entrance.

All good. The parking is slightly odd. It’s at the back of the hotel down an alley. Whilst a sign is clear in daylight at 2300 it’s obscure I’m afraid. The hel and breakfast are great as is the parking just the direction signs

Needs a refurb but for the price it was fine. All staff very pleasant and the room spotless. Bar was closed for a while due to a technical issue and the lift not working but other than that, all good.

Overall we had a pleasant day. A few things let it down. Number one was the left was permanently out of action. Could only be operated by a member of staff, so if you're on the third floor, it's a bit of a hike for the bad knee. Number two. We had a double room with the bed was pushed into a corner against the wall so one of us had to climb over the other to get out of the bed. Very inconvenient in the middle of the night. Night number 3. Out of 5 days our room was never serviced once even though you leave the sign on the door for the room to be surfaced. So it's down three floors to get fresh coffee, tea, milk and even if you want your cups cleaned you have to go to reception plus the most important toilet roll. Twice I spoke to a nice lady on reception who promised me the following day our rooms would be surfaced but nothing happened. Not asking for the bedding or towels to be changed. Just simply refreshment of the compliments and clean cups but that was too much trouble. Basically it's just a cheap hotel that is suited for one night stays.
