I didn't have breakfast. Parking is easy. Evening meal really disappointing- slimy coleslaw and the sour cream was out of a jar. Wouldn't eat here again. Lady on reception was lovely and really accommodating. Overall the hotel was fine for a one night stay and convenient for A1

Very good value for money other than expensive dinner options. You have more reasonable options and prices before 6 pm. Breakfast was very good, however. Room was clean and large. We requested a room change to the quiet side of the hotel (overlooking the car park) and were given one quickly. Reception service was really good. Would come again. .

-Good room -Friendly staff -Very small gym, not really worth it if there's more than one person in it -Disappointed that I couldn't get a table for one at 7pm in the restaurant as there was a table of 12 booked for around that time.

Had a weekend stay for daughters competition 2 nights. Breakfast was very good clean pleasant hotel but was spoiled when I recieved £100 fine for parking in the Hotels car park. Was told on arrival to enter my reg to avoid fine but not that I had to re enter each day of stay to avoid fine he should of been clear that I needed to enter each morning feel robbed!

A superior room which sadly was on the ground floor with the parking area directly outside the window. Both cars started up and revved engines very early in order to warm their vehicles up before driving off, waking me up. The room was very cold so had to ask for an independent heater. Very disappointing and uncomfortable. I did ask for another room but none were available!

The public areas were nice and modern. The room we had was in need of upkeep. For example, the linoleum in front of the sink was lifted up. There was a loose tile in the toilet/shower room with missing grout. It was confusing... There was a portable radiator and a fan - and then some kind of blower unit above the door. Only a dry iron was provided.

Very convenient to the main road, all the staff were extremely helpful, the wifi was absolutely useless in the rooms, this was really disappointing, also no electrical outlets by the bed side for a CPAP machine.

Hotel seemed OK at first, not the best of Holiday Inns but acceptable. The problem appeared at 4am in the morning when I found out the ceiling is very thin and the floor above extremely creaky. I could hear every step of the guest above me who got up extremely early. If you need to stay in this hotel, ask for a room on the top floor with no one above you.

The hotel was difficult to find initially. A sign at the end of the road would alleviate the issue. Could be down to tree growth ? Reception was great and room also. What spoiled our stay was a coach full of school children that arrived around 9 pm. The noise in reception and later in the corridor as they went to their room was high and disturbed our Friday evening . This noise continued on and off in to the early hours and started again at 06.30. No supervision of these young people past check in was apparent. Knowing that this trip was arriving, wouldn’t it have made sense to segregate room allocations ? Unfortunately breakfast was also disturbed. Not ideal for a relaxing start to Saturday morning ! Very disappointed

This was a terrible experience. Am a fan of Holiday Inns and have stayed in them at various locations across the UK. Yesterday evening i was told by staff i would have to wait an hour after ordering for food (for me that was not a problem) but it doesn't look good. Next the beer i wanted went off tap. Next on asking for a taxi to be booked i was given a list of numbers and told i would need to call them myself. From the list, one was a dead line and another had no response. Hotels have more local knowledge than a visitor. Next the shower would not work but after playing with it for a while it began to work but only slightly. This was by far the worst experience i have had at an IMG hotel. Please don't let it happen again.

Hotel its self was ok. The rooms were clean and had what you needed in the room. The night we were there, there was a power cut to the area and the staff didn’t have a clue how to manage anything. There apparently was no manager on and the manager didn’t see this as enough of an emergency to come in and help their staff out!

The hotel itself was adequate. Like most IHG hotels, it is in desperate need of a refurbishment. The breakfast was absolutely spot on, excellent, couldn’t fault. The prices in the bar were eye watering. Over £5 for a small bottle of beer, wow, way too much. Overall I would stay again.

Stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the room and the breakfast was really good. However we decided to order a snack from the menu one evening. I ordered a sandwich, the menu stated fresh bloomer bread, brown or white, tuna, spring onion, mayonnaise and black pepper. When I received this it was 2 thin slices of 50/50 bread, no spring onion and the thinnest filling of tuna, more like spread. The charge for this was £8.00!! Definitely not worth the cost.

Very large and comfortable room. The worst breakfast I’ve eaten in a very long time. All food was rock hard the hash brown disintegrated upon putting fork in could have lost teeth on the bacon, I asked for a fresh egg as those in the dish were rock hard. The pastries were incredibly unfresh and very oily. The canned fruit was nice!
